“Smart outreach backed by analytics”
Pros
Running this at our startup has been really useful for building a mailing database with geotracking and customer outreach. One feature we really appreciate is being able to see when customers open our emails since it helps us understand what content is actually working. The timing data is helpful too because we can segment audiences by demographics based on when they engage. It's also a big plus that we can import our existing subscriber list and skip the opt-in step. The template customization is great and having support from the IT team to help tailor the branding of our emails makes it even more valuable.
Cons
Pricing feels fair for a startup at the beginning but once your list grows past 1,000 customers, the plans start to get pretty expensive. If your business needs to reach a larger client base without spending too much, this platform may not be the best fit.

“Effective weekly customer communication”
Pros
Every week, this helps us share information with our customer base in a clear and effective way. We really appreciate the functionality and the interface.

After using the software for years, we still haven't come across anything we dislike about it.

“Powerful marketing from your phone”
Pros
Being able to manage it on the go is a big plus and I really appreciate that I can send messages to everyone straight from my phone. The interface is very user-friendly and it's honestly one of the simplest email platforms to get up and running in just a few minutes. Importing data from other platforms is also very easy. On top of that, the smart segmentation and automation features make setting up onboarding emails for customers really convenient.
Cons
As strong as the platform is, the pricing feels a bit high and it's not the best fit for solo entrepreneurs. Parts of the interface can also be confusing especially since the names of features seem to change often which can be frustrating.

“drag-and-drop that delivers”
Pros
Working with it feels very user-friendly especially if you prefer a drag-and-drop setup. The reports are clear and easy to follow and overall it's a really great tool that helps you get the job done even if the pricing can feel a little high depending on the size of your list.
Cons
Drag-and-drop experience only goes so far. When you use their suggested layouts, getting out of certain formatting can be difficult unless you have professional-level skills so you may end up compromising the look you actually want just to make it work.

“powerful newsletter features”
Pros
There are plenty of features built in and it gives you a lot of different ways to make a newsletter more engaging and interesting.
Cons
This is definitely one of the more challenging software tools I use on a regular basis. That makes sense because it can do so much but it still takes at least a moderate level of comfort with this kind of system to navigate it well. I've thought more than once about handing off our monthly newsletter to someone else in the office but explaining how to use it would honestly take more effort than it's worth. Once you really understand how it works though, it becomes enjoyable to experiment with.

“reliable email marketing favorite”
Pros
Using this platform has been a really positive experience. It's easy to work with, the pricing is competitive and the transparency along with the reporting features is genuinely helpful. It's the email tool I end up recommending all the time.
Cons
I'd still love to see a larger selection of updated templates. It would also be really helpful to have more support available when it comes to cleaning up mailing lists.

“customizable email templates shine”
Pros
Once everything is set up, the templates are really great. It's convenient to duplicate an earlier email and use that as a starting point. The emails come out looking polished and there's plenty of flexibility to customize them without much trouble.
Cons
Working with photos feels more tedious than it should. Uploading images itself is easy but each one has to be resized separately depending on where it's used in the template, like thumbnails or high-resolution sections. It would be much better if you could upload an image once and have the system automatically adjust it as needed, instead of creating three different versions of the same photo and uploading each one separately.

“flexible scheduling and generous free plan”
Pros
The free plan covers the key features well enough for what I need right now. Being able to send up to 12,000 emails to 2,000 contacts each month works perfectly for my current setup and if things expand later, I'd definitely look into the paid options. It's also really helpful that I can prepare everything on my own time and have the emails go out on a scheduled date.
Cons
One limitation that bothers me is having to enter a complete email address before I can save it. There are times when I only have part of an address and plan to fill in the rest later but the system won't let me add it until the full address is available.

“fantastic email builder”
Pros
One of the strongest email builders I've worked with, this platform makes email creation incredibly easy through its WYSIWYG editor. Even users with little HTML or CSS knowledge can build professional emails easily while the campaign management and segmentation tools are excellent for running newsletters.
Cons
there's not much to complain about. The only real downside I've noticed is that customer support can be a bit slow at times but overall it's still an awesome product.

“reliable newsletter companion”
Pros
Since my earliest days in blogging, this software has remained a trusted companion. It gave me a simple way to automate newsletters while keeping them visually appealing and effective which is why it became one of my favorite solutions.
Cons
In a world that runs heavily on data, it doesn't offer many advanced or expert-level options for tracking how successful the newsletters are after they're sent. It's only a small downside though. At the same time, I can see how adding those extra features might take away from the simplicity that makes it approachable for less experienced users.

“powerful split testing and reporting”
Pros
A clean and simple interface makes the platform pleasant to use while features like A/B testing for broadcast emails deliver real value. The templates are thoughtfully designed and the reporting tools provide useful insights.
Cons
One challenge we've been dealing with is the high number of bounced emails and that's been something we're still trying to work through.

“reliable email automation wins”
Pros
The free plan provides everything I currently need and has been especially helpful for automating communications so clients receive the right messages at the right stages of their journey.
Cons
It took a bit of effort to get started because the setup wasn't as easy as with some of the other software I use even though those aren't email automation tools. Once I understood how it worked though, getting everything configured properly became pretty simple.

“affordable bulk email value”
Pros
For businesses that occasionally need to send more than 10,000 emails at once, the pay-as-you-go pricing model offers exceptional value. Email costs can be incredibly low making it a cost-effective alternative to monthly subscriptions although the addition of expiration dates on credits is less convenient than it used to be.
Cons
Since Shopify and this platform split up for whatever reason, getting the two to work together has become a lot more frustrating. We've had to rely on a third-party connector called ShopSync and it just doesn't perform as well. On top of that, emails sent through it seem more likely to end up flagged as spam by Gmail than with some competing services.

“Perfect for editing and API win!!”
Pros
As a developer, I normally prefer coding emails directly rather than relying on visual editors. This platform is one of the few exceptions. The editor is powerful enough that I rarely need to touch HTML, allowing me to make changes and send emails quickly. The flexible API is another major advantage for more technical users.
Cons
If there's anything I'm not thrilled about, it's really the pricing more than the actual features or functionality of the software.

“powerful campaign analytics”
Pros
The campaign analytics and reporting tools are particularly strong and the collection of customizable templates provides plenty of flexibility. Scheduling email blasts in advance is another feature I find very useful.
Cons
Getting started can take quite a while because a lot of the features aren't very simple for new users. Pricing also climbs as your contact list grows so it can become expensive over time.

“professional templates for polished emails”
Pros
Designing and saving templates is remarkably easy which has been especially valuable for product launches. The finished emails look polished and professional and creating custom designs takes far less effort than expected. It's a tool I continue to rely on for both business and volunteer work.
Cons
One thing I still can't figure out is why so many of these emails end up in Spam. I sent training videos to my company through it and about half the team never completed the training because the messages got stuck in their Spam folders.

“confusing editor and poor workflow”
Pros
For users with basic email marketing needs, this platform offers an affordable and approachable starting point. It works well for simple campaigns, single automated emails and users who are just beginning to explore email marketing.
Cons
Using it feels clunky because the overall experience is poorly designed. The editing panel is confusing and you're forced to type in one side of the screen while your attention naturally gets pulled to the other side. I ended up dealing with landing pages and emails that had been connected to the wrong audiences and the only way to fix it was to archive and duplicate every single email just to point them to the right group. That process was really slow and completely unnecessary. Because of issues like that, I would never recommend this service. It just was not simple at all.

“simple setup with helpful support”
Pros
Learning the platform is relatively easy and everyday use quickly becomes second nature. While marketing newcomers may find a small learning curve, the available guides, tutorials and support resources make the process much smoother.
Cons
A few integrations still need improvement. For instance, one of our Facebook and Instagram ads had to be restarted three times before it worked properly. I've also seen others mention customer service slipping a bit although we haven't run into that ourselves.

“fun templates and campaign insights”
Pros
Industry-specific templates provide an excellent starting point for creating newsletters without building everything from scratch. The contact tracking capabilities are particularly valuable, offering detailed insights into opens, devices and engagement. Small touches throughout the interface also make the experience more enjoyable while features like test emails and reusable templates save significant time.
Cons
Weak spot is customizing the overall look of the newsletter which matters a lot to my readers. There are tools for adding columns, adjusting fonts and text size and inserting photos with embedded hyperlinks but they feel clunky and pretty limited. Images can't simply be resized to flow properly with the surrounding text and if you want one article to move from a single-column layout into two columns, you can't do that naturally, you have to create a separate text block and break the article into multiple sections yourself. On top of that, photos don't automatically resize to fit the newsletter so you're pushed into going through several extra steps in the photo editor which itself doesn't offer much flexibility.

“love the email automation”
Pros
Managing an online fitness and health business on my own, I rely heavily on the automation features. Being able to automate communication with clients and followers saves countless hours and allows me to focus on other parts of the business.
Cons
Customizing emails could definitely be better. The font selection feels a bit limited and creating an email never seems quite as simple as I think it should be although it's not a major issue for me right now.
