“helpful templates and clear tracking”
Pros
Right from the start, this has been very easy to use. The reporting and tracking tools are really great and the templates are especially helpful because they give you plenty of ideas even if creativity is not your strong point.
Cons
Not a con but the biggest letdown for me was the limited automation. I was also a little disappointed by the pricing since once you go past the free 2,000 subscribers, the monthly cost jumps to $29.99 which feels pretty expensive.

“flexible templates and handy reminders”
Pros
A longtime user originally pointed me toward this product and it has turned out to be very easy to use. You can build your own custom email templates or import templates into the program and save them for immediate use or later. Even with imported templates, it lets you edit some or all of the wording without needing any HTML knowledge. Uploading images and videos is also an option when needed. One feature I really appreciate is the next-day reminder that lets you resend an email to the people who never opened it.
Cons
Only downside is that there's no phone support and all help is handled through email. If an issue comes up, getting it resolved can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours. I'd really like to see them add phone support in the future so users can get better assistance when problems happen.

“versatile api integration wins”
Pros
The standout for me is the API integration with a huge range of software. As a web developer, that saves me a lot of time and lets me offer many more services to my clients. I also really appreciate how fast it is to add to a website for newsletter signups. For small businesses that want to start building a customer base, it's an incredibly valuable tool.
Cons
there's very little to dislike here. It's free for up to 10,000 emails per month and customer support responds quickly.

“up-to-date reports but frustrating limits”
Pros
One thing this tool does really well is keep the email status reports current. I also appreciate that it can tell the difference between a soft bounce and a hard bounce. Because of that, I can immediately remove hard-bounce addresses from my list and have my research team look for the correct contact details for that person. Setting up an email campaign is also quite easy and convenient.
Cons
Frustrating part is that email providers like Gmail and Yahoo often flag messages as spam. As a result, a lot of the email reports end up showing as unopened. I have also had trouble with the contact settings since creating and organizing contact groups is more difficult than it should be and not very user-friendly. On top of that, they have recently started charging extra for things that feel basic, like simple layouts and adding more users to the account. To make matters worse, reaching their customer service team is very difficult which has been really disappointing.

“Strong marketing features with room to improve”
Pros
The SEO and marketing features are really strong especially for small businesses building out their website. If they put a bit more into customer support, this platform can do a lot to help turn an online community into paying customers.
Cons
Interface is frustrating and could definitely be improved. There are also times when emails don't get delivered and using it on a mobile device tends to be awkward and uncomfortable. That issue is the main reason my rating isn't higher.

“Powerful list management made affordable”
Pros
Its strongest point is the powerful list management toolkit. Being able to add people to our lists, tag them by where they came from and automatically send custom drip campaigns to each segment has been incredibly valuable for our business. On top of that, it handles all of this at an affordable price and gives us the tools to create emails that look polished and professional.
Cons
At times, the large number of features can make it harder to quickly locate exactly what you need. As the platform has expanded and rolled out new tools so quickly, the interface has naturally become a bit more confusing. The learning curve has definitely gone up in recent years but it's still beginner-friendly enough that most people can learn it without too much trouble.

“Simple enough for any business”
Pros
This tool strikes an excellent balance between simplicity and functionality. I can put together an email campaign quickly but I still have the flexibility to fully customize the design whenever I need to. There are plenty of email marketing platforms out there, yet this remains one of the biggest and has earned my confidence as an industry standard. I've also set up accounts for some of my clients and they really appreciate how user-friendly it is for running their businesses.
Cons
Cost can climb pretty quickly depending on the size of your contact list. That said the platform's simplicity and reliability make the price feel justified.

“Fast setup and professional outreach”
Pros
Getting started was incredibly easy. Within just a few hours, we had our entire distribution list imported and were already putting together our first communication. Our customers have reacted really well to what we send and the polished, professional appearance definitely helps grab their attention. Keeping the distribution list organized has been just as simple and it's been very helpful for maintaining clean and accurate contact data.
Cons
There really isn't anything about the software that stands out as a negative for me. We've used some of the email templates although for certain communications it worked better to create our own graphic and add it in. Having the option to go either route is actually a nice bit of flexibility.

“Creative marketing made easy”
Pros
It's a very user-friendly platform overall and gives you plenty of options to make marketing and newsletter content feel unique to your business. The templates are also really helpful when you need a starting point or want some direction on where to go. Since I enjoy being creative, that part of the software is especially fun to work with.
Cons
My only real complaint is that adding a new audience can sometimes be a little confusing. If my team and I haven't used the software in a while, we usually have to stop and remember the correct order of steps again. It normally only takes about five minutes to sort out but it can still be a small frustration.

“Feature-rich and beginner-friendly platform”
Pros
This software feels very easy thanks to the clean design and drag-and-drop editor and that simplicity is a big reason it has become so well known in the market. The reporting is very detailed and covers pretty much everything needed, including client, geographic and social media tracking, along with Google Analytics integration. The free plan also includes plenty of useful features and being able to send up to 12,000 emails to 2,000 subscribers is a great offering for someone using the platform for free.
Cons
One downside is that the marketing automation feels tough and it does not seem to be built like some of the more advanced tools available on the market. On top of that, the paid plan gets fairly expensive if you want access to the pro features.

“limited free plan but pricey tiers”
Pros
One reason I chose it for email newsletters was the free plan available for lists of around 500 to 1,000 subscribers. At the time, it felt fairly generous even though the feature set was pretty limited.
Cons
Its pricing is quite high compared with alternatives like MailerLite. There is a free plan but it leaves out autoresponders and trigger-based events which I'd consider essential if you want to convert email subscribers into paying customers. On top of that, the interface can be a hassle to navigate especially when setting up an autoresponder sequence or importing lists from another email platform.

“Easy subscriber growth tool”
Pros
Getting started was simple and having a free plan made it even more appealing. It's a really useful program for building and growing an email subscriber list.
Cons
It would be better with more templates tailored to specific industries. The interface could also be a little more user-friendly.

“Professional emails that stand out”
Pros
Whenever I need to turn an email into something polished, eye-catching and professional enough to send to a large audience, this is the tool I reach for. It really does an awesome job and feels like a fantastic program for creating standout mass emails.
Cons
One thing that bothered me was the lack of a really simple option for sending a plain email to a big group of people. I still had to go through the full process of adding a logo and adjusting content boxes before I could actually send it.

“Free plan with useful insights”
Pros
One of the best parts is the free plan since it lets you send up to 10,000 emails to 2,000 contacts without paying anything. The platform is also very user-friendly so getting started and managing campaigns doesn't take much effort. I can build my own templates or choose from the pre-designed ones which is really convenient for email campaigns. The reporting is also quite useful because it helps track delivery status, link clicks, email opens and other important metrics.
Cons
Premium plans can feel expensive for some users. The template builder also has occasional lag which can be a bit frustrating while working. On top of that, advanced automation emails and the autoresponder are not handled as well as they could be.

“The platform people stick with”
Pros
It's pretty obvious why so many people begin with this platform, the free plan covers up to 2,000 subscribers. That's a smart way to pull people in because once your list grows, a lot of users end up staying simply because they don't want to deal with learning a whole new system. That's basically what happened to me. Realistically, once you're managing more than 10,000 contacts, an all-in-one option like Kajabi might make more sense but by then the habit is already there. The platform is simple to use and includes automations, segmentation, tags, personalization and integrations with this and other providers. Those features are all great. Of course, other tools offer similar things too but since I started out with MC, that's the one I've continued using.
Cons
A few integration problems with Shopify have been frustrating. I'm also not very happy with the pricing. It's not that there's anything I outright hate about it but for what they charge, it doesn't really stand out especially when other services offer the same features, or even more, at a lower cost. If you're just getting started, the free plan makes MC very appealing. Still, it's worth remembering that once you hit the paid tier, you may find yourself wanting to move elsewhere.

“A complete marketing toolkit”
Pros
Getting all of this for free is a big plus. It covers pretty much everything needed to create effective marketing emails, including adding images, headers and footers and sorting contacts into groups. The reporting is also very useful since you can see who opened your email, how long they looked at it and how many forwards and clicks it got. There are quite a few automation options too which makes sending campaigns much less of a hassle. On top of that, it integrates well with websites and includes free tutorials that make the technical side simpler. Overall, it feels like a very complete system.
Cons
Navigation wasn't always very clear especially when I hadn't used it in a while. It was a little too easy to forget where certain features were or how to do specific tasks so I wouldn't call it fully simple. Also, the free version adds its branding at the bottom of emails so if you want a cleaner, more polished look, you may need to pay for an upgrade or look at other software.

“Simple HubSpot campaign management”
Pros
Connecting it with HubSpot has been the best part for me. I can export and download lists of potential customers from HubSpot, then upload those lists into the platform without any hassle and that has really helped our marketing workflow. On top of that, there are plenty of templates to choose from and they look polished and professional. Another big plus is the reporting, it generates campaign performance stats very quickly which makes it much easier to spot results early and adjust or optimize the campaign when needed.
Cons
My only real issue is the interface which feels less simple than it should. At times, finding certain features can be frustrating and the tutorials do not offer as much guidance as I expected. After spending some time with it and learning where everything is, you can absolutely get done what you need to do. Still, a clearer layout and more user-friendly navigation would make the experience much better.

“Quick to learn and scale”
Pros
This product was quick. I felt comfortable using it in less than a day. The layout is user-friendly and I can move images and text around whenever I need to before sending anything out. It also works well for different business sizes, with a free plan for smaller platforms and paid options for those with a bigger audience. Overall, it's a really great service no matter how large or small the company is.
Cons
The biggest limitation for me is the theme color selection. The options feel pretty restricted and none of them really match my brand the way I'd want. Because of that, I end up choosing white for my monthly newsletters almost every time.

“Packed with helpful tools”
Pros
Everything functions well. Setting up mailing lists is easy and it does a good job of helping me track viewers and other related records. The free plan is useful too especially since it covers up to 2,000 contacts. The dashboard also feels very capable and packed with helpful tools.
Cons
Some of the better features are locked behind the paid version, such as support for more than 2,000 contacts, predicted demographics, prebuilt templates, removing the footer and scheduling delivery by time zone. The import tool also needs work because bringing in new contacts and spreadsheet data can feel a bit clunky and time-consuming.

“Professional emails that last”
Pros
Nothing else I've used makes DMs look this polished. Putting a template together can take a little while at first but once it's done, you can reuse it again and again and every email ends up looking clean and professional.
Cons
With the latest platform changes, the free plan now only lets you create one list which is pretty inconvenient when you need to manage 2-3 lists at the same time. You can work around it with labels but that's definitely more difficult.
