Helping businesses grow faster

Pros

Running my business with this software made it much easier to keep track of customers, follow up with them and send promotions. Because of that, I was able to grow my client base.

Cons

There really wasn't much to dislike about it. It could be a bit more user-friendly but aside from that, I was happy with the software.

Fast setup with powerful tracking

Pros

The learning curve is almost nonexistent with this platform. The interface is simple, launching a first campaign only takes a few clicks and importing contacts from a CSV or adding them manually is quick and simple. The tracking tools are especially impressive making it easy to monitor opens, clicks and other key metrics almost instantly.

Cons

there's barely anything to complain about here unless it could somehow read your mind and handle everything for you. Maybe that's something future voice technology will bring. In all seriousness, I haven't come across many downsides. I've been very satisfied with the product and happy to use it for managing our 5,000+ mailing contacts.

Built for beginners and growth

Pros

A beginner-friendly design makes this software easy to adopt right away. The pre-built templates help users get started quickly while custom template options provide additional flexibility. The free plan includes plenty of useful features and the platform scales nicely through paid upgrades as audience sizes increase. Its ability to connect email campaigns, advertising and websites adds even more value.

Cons

One thing that has been frustrating is figuring out how to contact technical support when help is needed. It has not always been clear who to reach out to or the best way to get assistance. The contact organization could also use improvement. Labels such as "clean" and "unsubscribed" are there but managing, removing, or organizing those labels is not very simple and can be confusing. I would also love to see more personalization options in the campaign reports. It would be much better if users could customize the way results are displayed, such as percentage opened, number of clicks and even choose the type of chart used, whether that is a bar graph, pie chart, or something else.

Simple list management that works

Pros

Building and managing an email list feels simple and efficient with this tool. It has become an important resource for both my own business and the clients I support.

Cons

They recently introduced tags which I'm happy to see but before that I had to rely on groups as a workaround for the same function. Because of that change, I now have to go back and update a few things.

too basic

Pros

Very little about the platform stood out as particularly useful for my needs. As a Shopify user, I already have access to several strong email marketing options which makes it difficult to see a compelling reason to switch. Users outside that ecosystem may find more value in it.

Cons

Creating an email campaign takes far too many steps and there really aren't any standout features to make the emails look visually appealing. It's hard to navigate, not enjoyable to use and there aren't any good templates to work with. It also doesn't pull products directly from your website. The emails end up looking boring and overly basic and putting one together takes much longer than the app I currently use with Shopify which integrates easily. I also don't want to export subscribers from my website platform if I can avoid it. I'm looking for something quick to learn, fast to use and capable of producing polished, attractive emails and this just isn't that. On top of that, customer support took a while to reach, there's no chat option and the information I got back was confusing.

free start for email campaigns

Pros

The free entry point is one of its biggest advantages. Being able to explore the setup process and run campaigns before spending any money makes it much easier to evaluate the platform.

Cons

One thing it's missing is an affiliate program which could help it gain more traction with internet marketers and similar users.

flexible messaging that keeps customers engaged

Pros

Flexible messaging options make it easy to stay connected with followers, supporters and potential customers. Whether sending scheduled campaigns or real-time updates, the platform helps keep audiences informed about new developments and opportunities.

Cons

The downside is that it can become expensive when you want to set up more advanced or higher-tier features especially the ones priced at premium levels that provide really valuable information to recipients.

reliable email marketing platform

Pros

Keeping an email marketing operation organized is much easier with this platform especially considering its affordability. It delivers the tools we need without requiring a large investment.

Cons

A few years back, working with HTML templates was a bit tricky but it has improved over time and I'm really happy with the final result our customers receive.

powerful newsletter tracking

Pros

Traditional email accounts often struggle with newsletter distribution but this platform solves that challenge effectively. A single campaign can be designed and delivered professionally to every recipient, complete with unsubscribe options and contact update links. Detailed tracking metrics also provide valuable insight into opens, clicks and overall engagement.

Cons

There's very little to complain about because the platform feels well designed. The audience segmentation options are extensive so you can send emails to specific groups within your recipient list based on different criteria and the campaign reporting is just as detailed. Pricing is fair too, smaller businesses or ministries sending newsletters will likely stay on the free plan for quite a while since you only start paying after a fairly high monthly volume, around 10,000 emails. There is a mobile app although I've barely used it. The only thing I'd add is another option that would make it more simple and easy for people to sign themselves up for a newsletter on an iPad.

newsletter templates that fit perfectly

Pros

Creating email lists and newsletters became much easier once I learned the platform's capabilities. Subscription pop-ups were quick to build, templates were easy to customize and the built-in guidance helped me create a newsletter that matched my website's branding. The one-click GDPR compliance tools were particularly helpful for meeting legal requirements without extra effort.

Cons

One thing that bothered me was the reduction of the free plan since that change hurts bloggers like me who aren't making money from their blogs. I was also interested in using it to create a welcome page for my blog but the page link was too long and the load time felt slow. In the end, it was actually simpler for me to make my own welcome page and mine loaded much faster even with several images on it.

free signup forms that deliver

Pros

Starting with a free plan made a huge difference when budget constraints were a concern. The platform allows users to build signup forms at no cost and then upgrade gradually as their audience grows. Its long-standing presence in the market also means there are countless free tutorials, guides and learning resources available online.

Cons

I haven't come across anything I'd want changed. The platform feels simple, capable and very easy to use.

simple campaigns and fast setup

Pros

Users of all technical skill levels can become productive quickly with this platform. Building templates, organizing contacts and scheduling campaigns are all easy tasks. I was able to create a complete scheduled email campaign, including design work, in just a few hours. Features like automatic image optimization and efficient mail merge functionality further align the entire process.

Cons

One part that felt clunky was editing images inside the email builder since it took too many steps to make adjustments. The user experience around adding and modifying images in an email could definitely be improved.

back to simple email wins

Pros

Coming back to this software has been such a good decision. It's a pleasure to use and getting my first email campaign set up was incredibly quick. I had used it years ago before moving to Convertkit for something more advanced but later realized I really needed a simpler system instead. Switching back has been very easy to get used to and the mobile app is a huge plus since it lets me build campaigns and send them even when I'm away from my desk.

Cons

My biggest complaint is that the free version only includes automation for a single email sequence.

reliable api performance

Pros

We've been using the API in our software products and it has been performing flawlessly with very little downtime.

Cons

Getting HTML emails and embedded images set up took a bit of effort. We also have to attach the images every time we send an email instead of having them built into the template.

fantastic email setup experience

Pros

Right from the start, the platform feels very simple. It's a easy tool to work with and the UX/UI is really well done. Setting up the account, configuring the database and building email templates and campaigns all feels simple to navigate. I genuinely enjoy using it.

Cons

It can be a little tricky with the domain verification process especially if there isn't an IT admin or technical person available to assist.

flexible lists and simple setup

Pros

Getting campaigns out the door is really easy with this tool and being able to keep separate contact lists based on where customers come from is a huge plus. The drag-and-drop builder is simple and I don't need any coding knowledge to put things together.

Cons

One thing I'd love to see is the option to automatically send a reminder email after a set number of days if the original message hasn't been opened. That would make remarketing a lot more effective.

smart sales guidance that delivers

Pros

One thing I really love about this platform is that it constantly gives you ideas and suggestions to help grow sales. Before you even get to that part, there are also engaging stories about how different companies and organizations are using it in real life. The one that stuck with me most was about a farmer who completely changed his perspective on slaughtering cows and found a different path for growth. It's real stories, real challenges and real progress. On top of that, I've been able to grow my clients' sales in ways I never would have considered before, just by following the guidance built into the platform. I originally switched because one client told me, "we will only work with it," and once I became their AOR, I made the move. Now every one of my clients uses it because I tell them this is the only platform I will work with. That says a lot. When something truly works, keeps teaching you and manages to educate while keeping things interesting, sales follow. The customer support on chat has also been very good.

Cons

Only frustration is that the chat support button can be hard to locate and seems to pop up at random. If it doesn't appear, the other option is sending an email. That said whenever the chat button is available, the support team is quick to respond, helpful and able to find answers right away.

fantastic layouts and simple setup

Pros

It was easy and the free trial made it easy to test everything first. The pre-made layouts are really well done and make the software simple to use.

Cons

Weak spot is customer support since it can be hard to get the help you need. On top of that, the price increase made it feel a lot less reasonable.

convenient newsletters every day

Pros

I use it every day at work and absolutely love it. The platform feels very simple so there's really no training needed to get started. It makes creating visually appealing newsletters simple which helps get the message across clearly. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who's just getting started with email marketing.

Cons

I don't have any complaints. I've loved using this software and my experience with it has consistently been positive.

Pros
