“fast launch and great value”
Pros
Setup and deployment can be completed very quickly, often within a single day. While other platforms may offer more advanced capabilities, they are typically more expensive and require a steeper learning curve.
Cons
There are two real downsides. First, removing the Shopify plugin was a very shortsighted move. Most of the clients we used this for were on Shopify and that integration was one of the best parts of the platform. It kept us coming back and made it easy to recommend. Since they removed it, using the platform has become more difficult. Second, if you need to build very specific customer segments, you may hit its limits. At the time of this review, custom segments could only combine five criteria and they could only be set as either matching all criteria or matching any of them. That makes it tough to fine-tune an audience exactly the way you want. That said if you regularly need that level of advanced segmentation based on past behavior and similar conditions, you're probably in the market for a more advanced email platform anyway.

“flexible templates for email creation”
Pros
Designing emails and building campaigns is a smooth process. The wide selection of templates makes it easy to create polished communications without investing a lot of time.
Cons
One thing that bothers me is that the same contact gets counted twice when they appear on different email lists. I'm also not a fan of the export function or the segmentation tools and as my business expanded, those features no longer felt advanced enough.

“budget-friendly for solopreneurs”
Pros
A standout benefit is the generous free plan for the first few thousand contacts, along with affordable paid plans starting at a low monthly cost. This makes it particularly attractive for solopreneurs and small businesses looking to build an email list while keeping expenses under control.
Cons
Navigation feels a bit clunky when you're trying to locate certain functions compared with other platforms. Needing to choose the audience first and then go look for the forms, for instance, feels reversed from how most other tools are set up so there's definitely a learning curve. On top of that, contacts get counted separately for every list they're on which means costs can climb pretty fast once you start using multiple lists. It's a really great option for low-volume email marketing but it's not the best fit for high-volume use.

“generous free tier value”
Pros
The free plan gives you a pretty generous amount to work with which is enough to tell whether it can handle what you need before committing.
Cons
Pricing jumps quite a bit once you move past the free tier. After you exceed the starting email list limits, the strong feature set is still there but the cost increase is hard to ignore.

“versatile features and stellar support”
Pros
It is very easy to use while still offering plenty of functionality for more advanced users. The third-party integrations are really useful and the support team has been fantastic.
Cons
Some of the more advanced marketing tools especially marketing automation, can feel a bit intimidating to work with at first.

“powerful email automation”
Pros
Auto emails have been a big win for us. With the API integration, I can create multiple lists and trigger a personalized email sequence whenever a new user signs up which really helps keep our brand memorable and top of mind. The best part is that once everything is set up, the system keeps working on its own without needing constant effort.
Cons
Platform is user-friendly but it can become expensive if you're mainly using it just to collect users and email addresses.

“Smart automation”
Pros
Getting to engagement and impression data is quick and accessible which makes reviewing performance much more convenient. The marketing tips and helpful suggestions are also really useful for increasing interactions and the option to set up automated messages and replies is something I absolutely love.
Cons
This software could be even better with a major yearly update. Right now, the platform feels like it still relies on older functions and the overall program would definitely benefit from a more complete upgrade.

“effective newsletters and templates”
Pros
the biggest benefit is that it delivers. Once you get comfortable with the mail management features, the whole system feels polished and much more practical for sending quick messages. Templates help a lot. In our organization, we use it for occasional newsletters that basically serve as a digital version of a printed piece we normally spend a lot of money to mail out. We really value how it helps us connect with existing and potential donors especially younger people who are more comfortable with technology. Another plus is how simple it is for subscribers to opt in or opt out and we also appreciate getting regular reports on that activity. This really feels like the direction communication is heading.
Cons
Getting that first email set up does take some effort especially if you want it to look professional instead of something put together at the last minute. On top of that, the mail management tools can feel a little tough, or just too complicated for users who are not especially comfortable with technology. There are FAQs and other support materials available which is fair to note but sometimes those resources are not much clearer than the problems themselves. At the end of the day something as basic as uploading an Excel contact list to create a mailing list should have been easy. It was not although it still was not enough of a problem to outweigh the benefits.

“affordable marketing automation win”
Pros
We use it for easy marketing automation and one of the biggest reasons we chose it was how easily it integrates with our existing tools.
Cons
It doesn't include some of the more advanced capabilities you'll find in other platforms but it also comes at a much lower price. In our case, those extra features weren't things we were using anyway.

“newsletter spam caused serious issues”
Pros
It worked well for sending newsletters to large groups of people and organizations and it was also useful for keeping those contact lists organized.
Cons
Downsides ended up being much bigger than the benefits. It sent the same newsletter to the entire group more than 20 times which led many recipients to mark us as spam and blacklist us. For a government organization, that kind of problem is extremely serious. It created a lot of trouble and it took over a month to get removed from the blacklist for Google accounts.

“Simple lists and thorough reporting”
Pros
Everything feels very user-friendly from the start and the lists and segmentation are organized in a really simple way. The reporting is thorough and the design studio is also simple to work with which makes the platform pleasant to use overall.
Cons
Automation features are a bit limited compared with competing tools. The CRM works fine for basic segmentation and tracking but it's fairly simple when you compare it to other products.

“helpful free plan and clear analytics”
Pros
The free plan works really well for small businesses and startups that are just starting to grow an email list. The testing feature is handy when you need approval before sending anything out and the analytics are easy making them easy to read and share with others.
Cons
One thing I'd still want is more detailed insight into email deliverability especially clearer guidance on how to improve it and some built-in tools to help with that.

“affordable and effective email platform”
Pros
One of the best things about it is how fast, simple and effective it is without being too expensive. For most people, this is the email platform that makes the most sense to choose.
Cons
Its segmentation features are fairly limited and merge tags are about the most advanced functionality you get. Even with that, it still works very well overall.

“fantastic start for email marketing”
Pros
Getting started with this as a marketing tool is about as easy as it gets. The interface does a lot of the heavy lifting so putting an email marketing strategy in place takes very little effort. I've also noticed they keep refining and improving the interface on a regular basis.
Cons
More advanced features are a bit harder to jump into right away. It would be better if there were a more convenient way to guide beginners through those tools when they're just starting out.

“scheduled emails save time”
Pros
Being able to schedule emails is easily my favorite part of this software. We sometimes need to send similar messages to different groups at different times and duplicating them and setting the send schedule removes the hassle of having to remember each one manually.
Cons
Built-in text editor is the part I struggle with most. Even though it offers some very nice fonts, formatting feels intimidating and harder than it should be. I've ended up creating text blocks in Adobe Illustrator instead so I can keep my branding consistent.

“scalable access and mobile convenience”
Pros
Two things really made this software stand out for our team, scalability and accessibility. When we first began using it, I was the only person managing and using the platform for my department. It helped me organize and improve our email efforts and I could get into it without any hassle whether I was at the office or away especially with the mobile app. As our department grew, adding more users and expanding our contact database was also very easy.
Cons
One thing I wish had been better was the way campaign data was presented on the main dashboard. It wasn't very user-friendly when it came to getting a full view of performance so spotting bigger trends across campaigns was difficult. That may be a common issue with a lot of similar tools but having that visibility would have made the experience stand out more. Support was also a bit underwhelming although the software still worked well enough for what we needed. Thankfully, we didn't run into many actual problems with the platform itself.

“powerful boost for email marketing”
Pros
After using it for about a year for my business, I can say it has been one of the most useful tools for managing customer communication. It helps businesses keep track of customers who subscribe to their channel which makes it much easier to stay connected. Once we collect customer emails through shopping activity or subscriptions, we can send announcements about exclusive events directly to them. It also lets us send a friendly welcome email whenever a new customer joins the channel. Because the features are so convenient, it really supports business growth and helps make the brand more visible through email marketing.
Cons
The email announcement templates are pretty basic. As a business, we want designs that immediately catch customers' attention but the built-in options do not really do that. Because of that, we usually have to create our own templates and adjust everything ourselves to get the look we want.

“free templates and helpful support”
Pros
One of the best parts is how many services are included at no cost. The interface is easy and beginner-friendly especially if you're just getting started with email marketing. On top of that, a lot of their pre-made templates are free too and they look really polished.

“Amazing testing features”
Pros
the biggest benefits is how many variables we can A/B test with it. We regularly experiment with subject lines, email content and send times to figure out what connects best with our readers. It gives us really clear insight into how readers engage which content they respond to most and what truly resonates with them.
Cons
Setting up the emails can be a bit tedious at times. Since there are a lot of steps and so many customization options, it also means there is quite a bit to adjust for each list when running tests.
