“Simple tools with clear insights”
Pros
Without any real knowledge of CSS or HTML, I can still use it without much trouble as long as I'm okay working within the templates that are already available. Another thing I appreciate is how the data results are displayed, they're presented clearly and in a way that pretty much anyone can understand.
Cons
Since I occasionally have to create newsletters for my company and don't have a coding background, I sometimes wish the templates offered more features. Another downside is that there's no alert when updates happen so every now and then I have to figure things out again with no warning beforehand even if it's manageable in the end.

“Easy enough for everyone”
Pros
Trying the free trial made it clear this software was worth using and the paid version feels just as worthwhile. The biggest reason I got hooked is how simple the whole platform is designed. Even someone who isn't tech-savvy can get into it and use all the features without much trouble.
Cons
Automation works fairly well but it still needs more improvement. It's not terrible at all though I do run into some difficulty when creating campaigns and dealing with a few prompt responses in the software.

“Better campaigns through analytics”
Pros
At work, I rely on it for sending bulk emails and importing lists makes reaching large groups pretty easy. Being able to apply and sort by tags is really useful when I need to find a specific audience again later. Putting emails together is fairly simple and the finished layouts look polished and pleasant to read. One of the best parts is the reporting after each send since the analytics make it much easier to see what performed well, what didn't and how to improve future campaigns.
Cons
Newer calendar feature is a nice addition but it would be even better if there were a way to tentatively schedule emails for a certain day. That would make planning future send dates a lot more manageable for our team. We also prefer using high-quality images and sometimes those end up looking distorted once the email gets forwarded.

“Feasible onboarding for growing teams”
Pros
The platform is very approachable for new users making onboarding quick and easy. Recent feature additions have also made it even more valuable for small and mid-sized organizations.
Cons
It definitely isn't the right fit for large organizations and it still falls short when it comes to more advanced features.

“Smart reporting and tracking”
Pros
A user-friendly API and convenient preview functionality make the experience smooth and efficient. The mail merge capabilities perform reliably while campaign statistics, delivery tracking and open-rate reporting provide valuable insights.
Cons
This was quite a while back but if I remember correctly, the only real issue was that subscriber data had to be stored in their database. We wanted to keep subscribed members in our own system for internal use and analysis instead. That said the API was simple enough to integrate so we were able to work around it without much trouble. Still, it would have been even better if that requirement didn't exist at all. In an ideal setup, there could be an option to provide a connection string so the platform could pull the contacts directly from our database, or maybe even accept them through a CSV input parameter. Of course, that may not fit their policies or technical approach but that's honestly the only drawback I can remember.

“Built for mass communication”
Pros
Creating templates and layouts for large-scale communications has been an enjoyable experience. The ability to monitor opens and link clicks helps measure engagement effectively, whether communicating with hundreds of leaders or thousands of families.
Cons
One thing that has been frustrating is how limited customization can feel. For example, creating buttons and then reusing that same format in other emails is harder than it should be. The only workaround I've found is building a template first. I'm also not a fan of how a single email address can be counted as multiple people when that person is included in more than one group.

“Analytics that deliver”
Pros
Email analytics are one of the strongest aspects of the platform. Tracking opens, clicks, sales attribution and split-test results provides clear insights into campaign performance and helps optimize future communications.
Cons
Only thing I really wish is that it still connected directly with Shopify. Right now, we have to rely on a third-party app for people who join our mailing list through our website.

“All-in-one marketing platform”
Pros
Bringing email marketing, landing pages, forms and CRM functionality into a single platform adds tremendous value. Everything works together easily, the workflows are simple and the GDPR compliance is another major advantage.
Cons
Using it isn't always very simple and even though the system tries to guide you through actions, the instructions are not always clear. It's also a bit expensive and can feel somewhat limited even with the addition of landing pages.

“Great for ecommerce teams”
Pros
Integration capabilities are a standout feature especially for ecommerce businesses that depend on multiple tools. The WYSIWYG editor also makes it easy to create professional-looking emails without requiring technical expertise.
Cons
One thing I still miss is a journey builder like the ones ActiveCampaign and other email platforms offer. Adding that would really complete the product and would make it my only choice for email marketing.

“Campaigns made efficient”
Pros
Once the workflow is established, managing campaigns becomes very efficient. Duplicating previous emails, updating content and sending them to the same audience saves considerable time while continuing to generate strong results.
Cons
Biggest weakness is the list management. Campaigns can only be sent to one list so if you want to reach a different group, you have to clone the campaign for that list. That setup also made it harder to grow our email list and the segmentation tool is extremely limited. The Shopify integration and connections with other platforms are poor as well. We would receive email sign-up registrations but they would not end up on the correct list because of how the integration worked. We could only add contacts to a specific list and they could not be included in our broader marketing messages unless every campaign was cloned. On top of that, the template builder and drag-and-drop editor are also very weak.

“Strong value for startups”
Pros
Small businesses can get significant value from the free plan which includes automations, templates, targeting features and multi-channel capabilities. The setup process is quick and even advanced options like behavioral targeting are available for future growth.
Cons
Free plan is excellent for small businesses and anyone just starting out. From my perspective especially for a no-cost tool, it doesn't feel like anything important is missing from the offering.

“Simple campaign creation”
Pros
Launching professional email campaigns takes very little effort. Account setup is simple and compared with many competing platforms, the overall experience feels much less complicated.
Cons
Simplicity also means there are fewer features included. It's not a big issue if you're just starting out but if you need more advanced marketing capabilities, it does feel a bit limited next to some other tools. That said it also costs less than many competitors so the pricing feels fair.

“Better customer insights”
Pros
Campaign tracking delivers exceptional visibility into customer behavior and engagement. Detailed performance data makes it easier to refine marketing efforts while the email builder allows attractive templates to be created with minimal effort.
Cons
There is definitely a bit of a learning curve with the interface. It isn't terrible but it could feel much cleaner and more simple. I also never felt fully comfortable using it on my phone so the mobile experience is an area that could use noticeable improvement.

“Everyday marketing made easy”
Pros
After the initial setup is complete, day-to-day campaign management becomes very easy. Features like campaign duplication, merge tags, test emails and nonprofit discounts add even more value to an already practical platform.
Cons

“Reliable communication platform”
Pros
Everything about it feels easy and user-friendly and it runs fast. One feature I really appreciate is being able to see every open and every click from the email notifications we send. We mainly use it to send important announcements and updates to our students and it has been much more dependable than Google Mail or Outlook for this kind of communication. The reporting tool is especially valuable, if a student says they never received something, we can pull and download the reports as proof. Overall, it has been the best option for us.
Cons
The biggest frustration for me is with lists. Creating and organizing distribution lists used to be very simple but now the process feels more complicated. On top of that, the pricing structure around lists has grown so we would need to pay more if we want to manage additional lists.

“Reusable templates save time”
Pros
One feature that's been especially useful is the copy template option. It lets us take an email template we've already used, make a few adjustments and reuse it for a different project without starting from scratch.
Cons
Honestly not much I dislike about the program. The only occasional issue is that it can take me a little time to remember how to build the email but that's probably because I only use it a few times a year.

“Personalized emails made simple”
Pros
It works really well for organizing customer lists and sending bulk emails with personalized sections. The templates also look polished and professional.

Interface inside the dashboard feels a bit clunky and I'm not a fan of the new rebrand with the yellow color scheme and serif-heavy fonts that give off a Comic Sans vibe.

“Flexible newsletter solution”
Pros
One of the biggest wins with this software is its user-friendly dashboard, the ready-made templates and how much we can customize it for our corporate newsletters. On top of that, it connects with countless other tools which makes sense since it has really become a standard option in the newsletter space.
Cons
The part we appreciate least is the cost per user. It's not unreasonable but a lower CPU would definitely make it more appealing.

“Affordable and connected tool”
Pros
Pricing is one of the biggest reasons this stands out and the way it connects with other tools like Facebook Lead Generation Ads and WordPress makes it a really appealing option.
Cons
Even with the good price and strong compatibility, the setup process and getting everything connected can be challenging. Because of that, I've ended up paying extra to bring in outside help for the implementation.
