“playful design with serious power”
Pros
Right from the free plan, the feature set feels impressive. Getting a campaign up and running doesn't take much effort and the platform can still handle things well as your marketing grows to a much larger scale. It also connects really well with established tools like WordPress which is a big advantage. Another standout benefit is the GDPR compliance, along with the active help it provides in meeting those requirements. On top of that, the playful style is enjoyable while still offering great and serious capabilities underneath.
Cons
There's very little to complain about. It would be nice if there were a slightly lower entry-level paid plan for very small organisations although the freemium features do cover the basic needs well enough. The jump to the Premium pricing however, is fairly steep.

“beginner-friendly newsletter setup”
Pros
Getting around the platform felt very easy and sending out email newsletters was simple even as a complete beginner when I first started using it.
Cons
Templates do have some limits when it comes to design and responsiveness and certain elements are not very customization-friendly.

“newsletter favorite with real value”
Pros
This has become our go-to for business newsletters and email lists. We use it across the board and even set up our clients with it too. even the free version outperforms a lot of paid mailing list tools out there which says a lot about the value you get.
Cons
Only drawback that really comes to mind is having to keep their branding at the bottom of your emails when you're on the free plan. Still, considering everything that's included, it feels like a pretty minor tradeoff.

“powerful campaigns and delivery”
Pros
Across different stages of my marketing career, I've relied on this software quite a lot. It has been really useful for bulk emailing, product promotions, mass notifications and managing campaigns overall. Compared with other tools in the same space, its email delivery success rate has consistently felt higher. The broad selection of templates and design options also gives it an added advantage over many competitors.
Cons
Pricing is a bit on the expensive side. It would also be better if there were more options available for saving and organizing contact lists.

“shared newsletter communication win”
Pros
Having one shared-access newsletter for my previous school made a huge difference. It gave everyone a single, consistent weekly newsletter to work from which made the whole communication process much more organized and logical.
Cons
Only thing I'd want added is better integration with Gmail, ideally with it built directly into Gmail itself.

“Amazing marketing automation suite”
Pros
This has turned into an excellent marketing automation and email marketing platform that works well across just about any industry. Whether it's for e-commerce, online campaigns, or even offline businesses, it fits a wide range of use cases. It has grown far beyond being just a basic mailing list tool and now offers really strong automation features. There are also plenty of third-party integrations available which helps cut down development time when connecting it with other software.
Cons
Since its launch, the software has continued to expand with new features over time. That said some of those newer additions don't always feel like their strongest work especially because their real strength is still centered more on marketing automation.

“affordable platform”
Pros
Getting started with a new project or business is very affordable which makes it a strong option early on. Being able to import up to 2,000 contacts before needing a paid plan gives you plenty of space to test things properly. It helps you settle into the platform and understand how contact management and the delivery system work before making a commitment which matters a lot since no one wants to keep switching systems and rebuilding everything from the beginning.
Cons
Free version understandably comes with some restrictions before moving to a paid plan and the standard templates feel pretty generic and lack much creativity.

“automation that saves us time”
Pros
The automation is where this really shines. We use it to send a weekly newsletter by pulling in posts from a WordPress RSS feed and once it's set up, it pretty much runs itself. Aside from changing the send time now and then, there's barely anything we need to manage.
Cons
One thing I'd still love to have is more precise scheduling for RSS-based emails. At the moment, sends can only go out on the hour so setting something specific like 2,15 p.m. isn't possible. It's definitely not a major issue but it does mean that if I need to make a last-minute update, I'm stuck waiting until the next hour.

“fast bulk email delivery”
Pros
This has been the best marketing email software for me. Sending emails is quick and easy and it also lets me send multiple emails at the same time without any trouble.
Cons
At the beginning, the part I liked least was how hard it was to find certain things. After some practice though, I got used to it and now I can use it without much effort.

“free and feature-packed choice”
Pros
I keep using it mainly because it's free and honestly, it should cover my needs for quite a while. It handles what I need without trouble, the interface is very user-friendly and there are plenty of useful features included. I also really appreciate the WooCommerce and WordPress integration even if it doesn't work perfectly every time. There are still a lot of features I haven't even explored yet.
Cons
If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be glitchy. The WooCommerce and WordPress integrations aren't always fully reliable although I can't really say which side is at fault since WP/WC seem to blame MC and vice versa. The MC plugin for WordPress/WooCommerce has created quite a few issues on my site and noticeably slows it down. That said the data it collects and shares is still very useful.

Pros
Sending emails to our mailing lists would be boring and incredibly tedious without this tool so the amount of time it saves is a huge plus.

“powerful value for growing teams”
Pros
Up and running was much simpler with this tool than with other autoresponders or CRM tools I've used. The pricing is a huge plus and even the free version offers a lot compared to what similar platforms usually charge. There's a ton of functionality here and honestly, most people probably won't end up using everything it can do. The campaign setup felt a little disconnected at first but after understanding the flow, it worked out just fine.
Cons
I'm still a bit uncertain about how well it integrates with certain other apps. That said anyone using it will likely see the value. And by the time you outgrow it, your business will probably be operating at a much higher level so it will have done its job well in helping you grow. It also comes with a surprisingly large number of advanced features even in the free version.

“Needs a desktop app and more integrations”
Pros
One thing that really works well with this platform is how flexible it is and how many customization options it gives you. I've used it for all kinds of things, from Turkey Drives and fundraiser sign-ups to album release contests and it handles each use case really well. I also brought on two new team members with almost no graphic design background and both of them were able to pick it up quickly and apply what they learned in actual projects. Another plus is that the templates don't feel generic or boxed in and they can be customized without much trouble. It also updates when someone signs up for your product or offer which is a subtle but effective way to reach more customers and sell more products without having to text people one by one. Overall, it's absolutely worth giving a try.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is a downloadable desktop app that stays connected to the cloud. It would also be much better if it offered integrations with other software like Google Drive and similar cloud-based services.

“simple email campaigns”
Pros
Coming in as a first-time entrepreneur without a technical background, I couldn't afford to hire someone to manage my company's email marketing so I started looking for a solution myself. I came across this platform while searching Google for "email marketing" and decided to give it a try. The UX/UI is very easy which made learning the system much less intimidating. The instructions were also clear and simple to follow so I was able to get my email blast campaigns up and running pretty quickly.
Cons
My only real issue is that if you stop using the platform, you may not be able to recover your data afterward.

“powerful email campaign toolkit”
Pros
Getting email campaigns up and running feels very easy and the configuration options are both impressive and practical. Once we set up templates that match our company branding, different team members can jump in, configure and send emails without any trouble.
Cons
The pricing could be more competitive although that comes with choosing one of the top platforms in the industry. There are also a lot of useful tools and options included which can feel a bit overwhelming for someone using it for the first time.

“dated platform with proven history”
Pros
It's delivered real results for thousands of online stores over the past 10 years and it has played a meaningful role in the eCommerce industry the whole time.
Cons
At the same time, they've done very little to keep the software updated or improve it enough to match competitors so it ends up feeling outdated, missing important features, clunky to use and generally obsolete.

“fantastic fit for small teams”
Pros
Launching campaigns with this software is incredibly easy. The interface is very easy so there's barely any learning curve and the free plan is generous with a great contact limit. For small businesses that are just starting out, it really feels like the best choice.
Cons
It still isn't as complete an all-in-one solution as HubSpot or Salesforce although they do seem to be improving it. A lot of that comes down to the fact that it's built for a different type of market.

“free to start with strong integrations”
Pros
Starting on the free plan while building a subscriber list is a major advantage. You only need to upgrade once you hit a certain subscriber count which makes it budget-friendly early on. It also connects really well with a wide range of platforms.
Cons
Compared with other CRMs I've used, this one doesn't offer the same level of usability or functionality. I also wish the dashboard felt more simple and easier to navigate.

“stylish newsletters and great delivery”
Pros
Absolutely amazing to use. Uploading a contact list is easy and it lets you design really stylish newsletters without much effort. It also includes signup form creation and those forms can be integrated into a website without trouble. Another big plus is that most emails sent through it actually land in the recipient's inbox instead of getting stuck in spam. On top of that, it offers a lifetime free plan if your contact list stays small.
Cons
The downside is the pricing structure. While it's free at first, once your contact list goes beyond the free limit, your access gets restricted until you upgrade and pay.

“fantastic free templates and reports”
Pros
What stands out most is the sheer number of services included at absolutely no cost. This application gives you tons of options and the interface feels better than the others I've tried. It's very simple to navigate and understand even for someone completely new to email marketing. The reporting tools are outstanding and they let you create polished, designer-style reports for clients without needing to tweak much at all. As a graphic designer, I'd say the template builder is the best I've come across in any email marketing platform and the selection of pre-designed templates is another huge plus since they're completely free too. I could keep listing things I love about it.
Cons
My only real issue is adjusting to the recently updated interface. The terminology and layout make a little less sense to me than the previous version although that may just be because I was so used to the old setup. Another minor downside is that if you're using the free version, the company logo appears at the bottom of the emails you send. That barely feels like a complaint though because considering how much they give you for free, it's understandable that they'd want some visibility.
