“Perfect email designer”
Pros
Creating polished emails takes very little effort with this tool which is something we really appreciated. The interface is simple to work with and the designer is far ahead of anything else we've tried, it consistently impressed us with how good the results looked and how quickly we could build them.
Cons
One thing we weren't happy about was the default unsubscribe process. We would have preferred to direct customers through our own unsubscribe handler but that option was never available here even though some higher-end providers do offer it.

“friendly interface with handy integrations”
Pros
The free plan is a nice option for anyone who only sends occasionally. The interface is very user-friendly and it also connects with plenty of other apps, including Square and Shopify.
Cons
Mobile version has limited functionality so you really need a desktop or laptop to get the full experience. Also some extra features are only available with the pro subscription.

“clunky interface and buggy commerce”
Pros
For many business owners, this has long been a familiar go-to platform. That said there are now plenty of other options out there some free and easy some paid but simple and others more advanced, that handle the same tasks better and with less effort.
Cons
My biggest frustration was the commerce integration with WordPress which was extremely buggy and came with little to no helpful support. On top of that, the interface just doesn't appeal to me anymore, it feels overloaded with too many features and generally cluttered. The automations also felt tough the last time I used them.

“powerful email design and reporting”
Pros
Learning the software doesn't take much effort, yet it still offers a lot of power when it comes to building email designs. The campaign reports are incredibly valuable, giving clear details on who opened my emails, who clicked a link and even which specific link they selected. The tagging and segmentation tools are also very useful.
Cons
It can be frustrating when uploading leads. The spreadsheet headers need to match the platform's fields exactly, otherwise everything has to be mapped manually one field at a time.

“personalized outreach that delivers”
Pros
Sending emails to a larger group is really convenient and I enjoy how fast the whole process is. Being able to customize each message with images, links and each person's name makes the emails feel much more personal. It's also very useful that you can add a landing page at the end of the email.
Cons
One thing that bothers me is the "sponsored by" note in the free version. That branding can make potential clients assume the email is spam which hurts the overall impression.

“helpful automated client emails”
Pros
A particularly useful feature is the automatic email response sent to clients as soon as they sign up for my program. It saves me from having to send each email manually which cuts down on a lot of extra work. On top of that, clients get an immediate reply so they feel acknowledged and know they matter right away.
Cons
The part that still needs improvement is email segmentation. If a client clicks on something specific in an automated email, I'd want the system to follow that interest and present more related products or services but that capability just isn't there enough right now.

“flexible campaigns and audience tools”
Pros
Building campaigns feels very simple thanks to the drag-and-drop elements you can place wherever needed. The formatting options are also a big plus since they make it possible to tailor each message to match your own branding and style. Being able to insert links, photos and other content directly into a campaign is essential for the way we communicate. On top of that, audience list management is very user-friendly and the ability to tag groups of audience members is a key part of how we use this communication tool.
Cons
I would really want improved file management for uploads. I'd like the option to remove older file versions that are no longer useful but right now they seem to stay layered in the Content Manager and there's no way to separate them out for deletion. It would also be helpful if the platform included a simple built-in polling feature so we could send questions and gather feedback from constituents more regularly to help improve our business.

“powerful email marketing features”
Pros
Managing email marketing through this platform feels very innovative especially since it lets us manage thousands of subscribers and send up to 12,000 emails per month to different contacts. It has been an excellent tool for our marketing team because it includes several very useful functions for sharing advertising campaigns. One feature we really value is the ability to design subscription forms the way we want and add them to a blog or website so visitors can enter their information and become part of our contact list. It also gives us the option to send thousands of emails to different addresses very quickly. Overall, it is a very simple yet highly functional platform for our company.
Cons
A drawback of this software is that it comes with limitations based on the plan and pricing you choose. When working on larger campaigns, it can restrict how many emails are allowed to be sent per day and that becomes an issue if you need to launch a big campaign. Aside from that, the platform has not caused us any operational problems and it has consistently worked correctly.

“simple setup”
Pros
The platform continues to improve with new features being added regularly. It works well for more complex implementations but it's also approachable enough for someone who's still learning the ropes.
Cons
There are still some limitations when it comes to design customization. A few times I wanted to adjust the layout in very specific ways and it wasn't always clear or simple to figure out how to make those changes.

“great segmentation and templates”
Pros
Being able to segment my list in several different ways has been really useful and there's also a great range of templates available for all kinds of email campaigns.
Cons
Coming from Aweber, the platform felt tough at first. Once I adjusted to how it works though, I got comfortable with the differences and would probably find it just as tough to switch back now.

“personalized emails for each location”
Pros
Creating and customizing emails for our specific business location was a big plus. Since we're one of several satellite offices in the company, it really helped us send marketing emails that felt personal and tailored to our site.
Cons
Uploading mailing lists was often a challenge and keeping the distribution lists accurate and up to date could be frustrating at times.

“automation & templates that deliver”
Pros
A couple of years ago, when I launched my blog and was trying to grow an audience, I had no clue which email marketing platform to go with. I ended up choosing this one because the free plan covered up to 2500 emails and that turned out to be the right call. I'm really happy with it. The automation side is easy and hassle-free which mattered a lot since I was completely new to email marketing at the time. In less than a week, I had already built my campaign and set up automated emails to go out whenever I published a new post. The tools are user-friendly and there are plenty of templates to experiment with. It also connects very well with WordPress and other hosting platforms.
Cons
Downside is that the paid plans can become expensive for bloggers who are not trying to monetize. Free users only get customer support for 30 days which feels limiting. Even on a paid plan, support is restricted to email or chat, with no phone option included. If you want phone support, you have to upgrade to a premium membership and that costs quite a bit.

“simple client details setup”
Pros
Adding a client's name, email and phone number to the list is really simple and easy which is the part I appreciate most.

“powerful features and integrations”
Pros
Being free for up to 2,500 users is a huge plus and it connects well with most software and website platforms I use. The setup is simple, the interface is easy to work with and there are tons of features available. It also includes retargeting options and creating templates is pretty easy.
Cons
The only thing I'd want more of is business-specific industry templates. It's still simple enough to build your own but having more built-in starting points would make the process even better.

Pros
Right away, the platform felt very user friendly and simple to navigate. There are plenty of options to explore, along with lots of reviews which made me even more excited to keep using it.
Cons
Can't think of anything I disliked. When I first started using it, I just clicked around a bit and was able to figure everything out quickly because it was so simple.

“free sync and scheduled emails”
Pros
One thing that's been really helpful is that it's free and connects to my website without much hassle. Since I'm not very tech-savvy, that's a big advantage. Being able to schedule emails ahead of time is also something I really appreciate.
Cons
A lot of the emails I send end up in spam so most of them don't get opened. On top of that, it took some effort to understand how to actually use the platform for sending emails.

“Great templates but limited growth”
Pros
It is very easy to use and the templates make it simple to create emails that look polished across all devices. Managing lists and handling segmentation is uncomplicated and the pricing is fairly budget-friendly.
Cons
Things changed once the Shopify split happened because that integration is essential for our business and pushed me to start looking at other options. During that search, it became clear we had also outgrown what the platform could do. We ended up moving to Drip for stronger automation, better segmentation and deeper data capabilities. It works well enough for a brand-new, very small business but as your company grows, you'll likely outgrow its features too.

“Easy email campaign automation”
Pros
Putting together an email, building a campaign and even setting up a bit of automation is all very approachable even without advanced email marketing skills. The templates look polished and the editor includes plenty of design guardrails so emails stay visually appealing across devices. I also appreciate how simple it is to grow lists using popups and lead capture forms and embedding them into landing pages is pretty easy.
Cons
This works especially well for small businesses and organizations but it does lag behind some competitors when it comes to deeper features like automation, triggers and personalization. It doesn't really present itself as enterprise-level software and a lot of the functionality stays on the simpler side. Even so, considering the price, it still delivers a lot of value.

“Free email marketing starter platform”
Pros
A big plus is that the core features come at no cost. It lets you begin growing your email list for free which is something many competing tools don't offer.
Cons
Interface feels pretty bland. For someone who's more tech-savvy, it can come across as dull and the design is so simple that it may disappoint users who prefer more complex, data-heavy dashboards.

“Simple ecommerce email setup”
Pros
Getting started with this platform feels simple even for an average user. It connects nicely with our existing ecommerce setup and the improvements made over the past few years especially compared with when I used it around 2010 at a previous job, seem much more deliberate and centered around what customers actually need.
Cons
WYSIWYG editor can be a bit hit or miss at times. If the visual result you want is fairly close to how the system expects things to look, it works really well but once you try to push beyond its preferred formatting, the outcome can be inconsistent. Our initial PrestaShop integration was also a little awkward although I still can't say for sure whether that was due to PrestaShop or the platform itself. I'll update my review once we've fully sorted that out.
