“Capable with slightly technical features”
Pros
This tool feels very simple and once the workflow clicks especially the editing side, it becomes a really valuable tool for handling lists and sending bulk emails. The emails usually come out looking polished, they seem less likely to land in spam and the marketing features clearly do what they're supposed to do. It definitely has a few technical quirks but after learning those, it turns into a very capable and powerful piece of software.
Cons
Pricing is a bit high in my view and the feature set feels more limited than it should be for the cost. The only options are flat-rate plans or pricing based on list size which can make things difficult for something like a political campaign where the budget may not stretch far enough. For organizations and other types of groups though, it would likely be a much better fit.

“Cost effective campaign automation”
Pros
The platform delivers a lot for the price and has been very effective for us. Duplicating campaigns makes it quick to update content and send the next email without starting from scratch. The automated email tools are also really valuable when we want to build and send more advanced campaigns.
Cons
List management can become overwhelming if you are not very intentional about how you organize everything. While cleaning up several smaller lists from trade show opt-ins, we accidentally deleted one and once a list is removed, those contacts cannot be added back unless they go through double opt-in again. Thankfully it was only a small list so the loss was limited. It would have been a much bigger problem if we had deleted everything assuming we could merge the lists and upload them again later. We understand the reason for double opt-in but in this kind of situation it feels like we would end up losing too many contacts.

“Free trial marketing analytics”
Pros
Having a free subscription option is a big plus because it lets you test the product first and decide whether it's the right fit. The template generation is easy to use and the email data statistics are genuinely useful and informative.
Cons
I honestly don't have any complaints about it. I used it in a smaller business where we never needed to pay for the software and it covered everything we needed.

“Sales boosting email automation system”
Pros
Handling my marketing process has become much less stressful thanks to the effective solutions this software offers. It lets me build impressive campaigns that have helped boost my sales results. On top of that, I can monitor my emails and see whether they land in the inbox or end up in the spam folder which is incredibly helpful.
Cons
Every feature in this application has been genuinely useful and it does a fantastic job of making daily email marketing much more manageable. At this point, I really do not have any complaints about the product.

“Powerful newsletter tracking”
Pros
Right from the newsletter editor, it has pretty much everything needed to customize emails exactly the way you want. The tracking tools for newsletters are also very great and give really useful insight.
Cons
There honestly isn't much to complain about. Since the latest company restructure, they've added more marketing analytics features which is a good step but that area still needs a bit more development.

“helpful mail automation but glitchy”
Pros
One feature I really appreciate is the mail automation for email series. It lets me send daily emails automatically without having to sit in front of my computer the whole time.
Cons
Lately though, the platform has been pretty glitchy. At one point, it randomly deleted an entire email sequence and the only reason I could rebuild it was because I had a copy saved in my personal email.

“Website integrated email marketing”
Pros
Getting my campaigns out to a wider audience has become much simpler with this. It tracks and collects data from everyone who subscribes through my website and the interface was easy to get set up. It also connects well with website builders like Wix so subscriber details are gathered automatically and I can easily look through the data whenever I need to.
Cons
after using it for the past year, I really can't point to anything seriously negative. It's done a lot to make things easier for me especially when it comes to collecting data on the content I've been sending out. If I had to mention one "downside," it would just be that they should swap out the chimp logo and use a picture of me winking instead lol.

“Smart audience segmentation reporting”
Pros
The reporting tools make it simple to see what's performing well and what isn't. The tagging feature is also a big plus since it helps me segment my audience based on specific interests. Another thing I really appreciate is being able to use the platform for free until I hit a certain subscriber limit.
Cons
It's not the most simple platform for beginners so new users may need a little time to get comfortable with it.

“Complete email marketing platform”
Pros
Putting campaigns together and scheduling them is very easy and the email delivery has been consistently reliable. The pre-built templates and themes are polished and creating custom email templates feels simple while still offering plenty of control. Reporting and analytics are useful, the Magento integration is a big plus and the automated mailing list cleanup saves time. It also helps that social sharing is built in, the feature set keeps growing and the overall value for the money is excellent. Support has also been very helpful and knowledgeable when needed.
Cons
A couple of things could be better. The company is based in the USA which may raise data location concerns depending on your requirements. The branding can feel a bit quirky and every now and then some parts of the platform don't quite hit the mark.

“Easy franchise email campaign”
Pros
After becoming a franchisee with a paint and specialty covering manufacturer, I started using this account much more regularly than before. Now I send weekly emails both for my own company and for the manufacturer and it has been very convenient. Putting together a campaign is easy and doesn't take much time which is something I really appreciate. It's worked well for my regular email needs and I'm now interested in trying more of the features, like landing pages and other options.
Cons
One thing I'd really want to see improved is the template selection. There should be more variety available, or at least an option to upload and use our own templates without having to pay an additional monthly fee.

“Simple marketing automation”
Pros
Creating both automated and manual campaigns with this platform has been really easy and it also gives me a clear picture of what is actually working in my marketing.
Cons
The knowledgebase and learning resources feel a little limited and they come across as too technical for someone new. I ended up needing help from someone much more experienced to walk me through it.

“Beginner friendly”
Pros
The free version is an excellent fit for businesses that are just beginning with email campaigns. I originally picked it because of the price and I ended up staying for years simply because I enjoy using it.
Cons
I do not have any complaints. I have been using it for almost ten years and whenever an issue came up, their team resolved it right away.

“Strong email template and support”
Pros
A wide selection of strong templates and design options made creating emails much better. The live chat support was really useful anytime I got stuck or wasn't sure how to do something. Pricing was also reasonable for the size of our list so it felt like a good value.
Cons
Managing and updating lists was harder than it should have been. On top of that, the Salesforce integration wasn't nearly as convenient as promised which was frustrating. That ended up being a big disappointment and eventually pushed me to move to a different email marketing platform.

“Email testing and reporting tool”
Pros
Running A/B email tests is one of the features we appreciate most because it lets us quickly see which subject line gets the better response. There are also plenty of polished templates that have that professional, industry-standard marketing campaign style. The reporting holds up well compared with other email platforms we've used and the interface is clean and simple to read. It also connects with a lot of popular apps and services and the pricing feels competitive and clear.
Cons
We did run into one frustrating issue with duplicate billing. The same subscriber was on a few separate lists and we ended up being charged more than once for that contact. It would be much better if they offered a way around that problem.

“Simple dashboard email software”
Pros
From the beginning, the interface and dashboard felt very simple to use. When we were putting emails together, there were plenty of attractive templates to pick from and adding our information was quick and easy.
Cons
If you're new to marketing, the options that appear after creating an email can be a bit confusing at first. That said the tutorials were very helpful and made those pages much easier to understand.

“Best free nonprofit tool”
Pros
Among the free email marketing platforms available, this has been the most practical and capable one to use. It does everything our local non-profit ad club needs and has been more than sufficient for managing our outreach.
Cons
Recent updates have created serious problems, including data loss and a complete breakdown of the automatic email updates coming from our club website.

Pros
The fact that it's free is a nice plus and it's fairly simple to work with. I also appreciate some of the template choices they offer although creating a custom template comes with an extra cost.
Cons

Pros
Creating newsletters is pretty easy and it connects nicely with my WordPress sites. Another big plus is being able to start using it for free.

“excellent email editor”
Pros
Editing emails in this software feels a lot like working in a Word document and that has made our email marketing much simpler. The email editor is one of its strongest features and works really well for our team.
Cons
Subscription and list management side could be better. It doesn't feel like it has the strongest tools for building and managing lists and I'd like to see more features added in that area.

“simple newsletter creation win”
Pros
For direct mail pieces especially newsletters, this has been an excellent solution because of how simple it is to use. Even without any previous experience, it's possible to put together newsletters that look polished and professional. The whole interface feels very easy and user-friendly. Adding URLs, photos and other content is quick and I also appreciate that images can be resized right inside the program instead of having to open Photoshop or another tool first.
Cons
Only real drawback I've run into is with photo placement because once I insert an image, the text tends to sit right up against it. My workaround has been to add a narrow strip of white space along the side of the photo where the text lines up. There may be a built-in way to adjust that spacing but if there is, I haven't come across it. It's a minor annoyance and manageable enough though it does get a little frustrating when working with a lot of images.
