“advanced email design and list control”
Pros
Beyond sending bulk emails, it's been really useful for keeping our customer lists organized and under control. It also includes a very user-friendly email builder so we don't need to rely on a designer every time we want to create something.
Cons
A few interfaces and workflows don't offer the best experience on the platform and sometimes the navigation path to find certain things feels a bit odd.

“clean design and quick campaigns”
Pros
It is really easy to use. The interface looks nice too and the yellow theme from 2019 is a cool touch. The free account is very useful when you want to try out the features first. Setting up your first campaign is about as simple as it gets and the templates can be customized in just a few minutes. You can also launch social media campaigns directly from the platform and the mobile app is powerful enough to let you work while you're on the go.
Cons
The only downside is that the free plan comes with limits on what you can do so it quickly pushes you toward paying for a subscription.

“reliable email marketing platform”
Pros
One thing I appreciate most is how well it handles our email marketing needs while giving us a clean, dependable interface for sending bulk email campaigns.
Cons
Feature I'm not happy with is the shifting pricing structure which has forced us to renegotiate contracts with our clients.

“great free version for starters”
Pros
This software feels like a really good fit for new businesses that don't need an overly complex A/R system. The free version performs wonderfully and I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone just launching a starter business.
Cons
Once you need multiple triggers or more advanced funnels, this platform starts to fall short. The support team is helpful overall but when it comes to integration questions or more unusual situations, they can't really do much which is pretty common with software services. I do appreciate that they're finally evolving by adding tags though they still seem behind newer systems when it comes to matching feature sets.

“strong campaign builder”
Pros
Building email campaigns and landing pages feels very approachable with this tool. It's user friendly, with drag-and-drop and cut-and-paste features that make the whole process simple even without any HTML knowledge.
Cons
The contact list area could use more functionality. It's designed somewhat like a spreadsheet but not every column can be sorted and there's no way to save a custom view or layout. On top of that, if I open a contact to edit it and then go back to the list, any changes I made to the view are lost. The lists also sit inside a fixed window that can't be expanded which makes it less convenient to work in.

“helpful email campaign learning”
Pros
Getting started was easy and setting up an account didn't take much effort. As someone who was new to online marketing, the whole process felt a bit intimidating at first but this platform really helped shorten the learning curve and gave me a fairly simple way to manage my email campaigns. The analytics are very useful and the email templates look really nice.
Cons
A few of the terms and parts of the process could still be explained more clearly.

“Perfect for basic campaigns”
Pros
I stayed with it for years before realizing there were other email marketing platforms that offered better usability and more value for the price. Still, it worked well for very basic marketing needs like sending emails and setting up autoresponders.
Cons
The biggest frustration was how it handled duplicate subscribers across lists. If the same person was on two different email lists, the system counted them as two separate subscribers which pushed you closer to your subscriber cap. That also became a headache when sending campaigns because there was no way to stop that person from getting the same email if you were mailing both lists. In the end, there are other tools out there that do more for the same money and don't come with this inconvenience.

“email marketing made simple”
Pros
Sending several email campaigns each week feels much more manageable with this tool and that's a big plus for me because I really enjoy email marketing.
Cons
One part that still confuses me is the difference between lists, segments and groups and I'm not always sure how to organize everything properly.

“handy autoresponders for smaller lists”
Pros
This works really well for lower-volume users especially if you're not sending a huge amount of email marketing. It's very useful for setting up a few autoresponders quickly and building simple forms that connect with a wide range of web platforms.
Cons
Its flexibility could definitely be improved. The form options are fairly limited and if you want deeper customization, you usually have to rely on coding. It would also help a lot if there were more templates included and if they were easier to use.

“improved design and higher open rates”
Pros
Compared with Constant Contact, this platform feels a step ahead because it keeps updating and improving over time. The functionality and design tools are really impressive and most of it is easy to use even though a few things like lists and segments can be a little tricky. The design features are probably the standout part for me and definitely the most simple to work with. I've also noticed better open rates and fewer bounce backs here than I did with Constant Contact.
Cons
One thing that really bothers me is how the system counts the same contact twice if that email is placed on two separate lists. If you actually have 500 contacts but need them on two lists instead of using segments, it suddenly counts as 1,000 contacts even though they're still the exact same email addresses. That part is frustrating. Updating lists can also be tough because the simplest way is often to delete them and upload them again which makes the process harder than it should be.

“strong email automation wins”
Pros
Running this for my website has been really useful for building a subscriber list and sending automated emails especially RSS emails that go out every time I publish a new blog post. There's also a lot you can do with email automation if you want to set up more advanced workflows. One feature I use all the time is custom fields because they help me make emails feel personal instead of generic. Rather than sending something that says hello everyone, I can address people by name, like hello Anna which makes the message feel much more individual. On top of that, I can customize both the emails and the signup forms quite a bit. I also really enjoy using it for birthday emails, where I can automatically send a card along with a discount or even a small gift so I never have to keep track of birthdays myself.
Cons
Every now and then, images from the RSS feed do not get pulled in properly which leads to broken images and links going to broken pages. My guess is that the issue may be related to something on my side since my website uses a lot of plugins but I have not had the time yet to figure out which one might be causing the conflict. Another downside is the email editor which feels a bit slow and still lacks some features. It covers the basic blocks but I would really like to see more block options or some more advanced design elements so it would be possible to create more visually impressive emails like some competing tools allow.

“confusing setup and poor support”
Pros
there wasn't much to like about this software. It was confusing to navigate and customer support was basically nonexistent. Whenever I had a question, the reply would eventually come by email from an overseas support agent who didn't seem to fully understand what I was asking.
Cons
Customer support was not helpful at all. Every time I reached out with a question, I would eventually get an email response from an overseas agent who didn't properly understand my concerns. On top of that, the software significantly slowed down our website. We eventually switched to another marketing provider because it was hurting our Google SEO ranking. I contacted them several times hoping to get advice on how we could keep using the software without affecting our site speed so badly but they offered no real help.

“advanced reporting and templates”
Pros
If you want an affordable and reliable option for email marketing, this one really delivers. Building campaigns is easy thanks to the ready-made templates and it's beginner-friendly enough that someone new to email marketing can pick it up without much trouble. That was exactly my experience when I started out. After signing up, the dashboard feels clean and user-friendly. You can jump right into creating a new campaign and the steps are pretty self-explanatory as long as you know the basics of how email campaigns work. There are prebuilt themes and layouts to choose from, or you can design your own using simple drag-and-drop tools. Once everything is ready, you just select from the email lists you've already uploaded. Even if you're not ready to send right away, you can save your work as a draft and come back to it later. The reporting side is where it really shines for digital marketing work. It gives you almost everything you would want to track, who received the email, who opened it, who clicked and who actually took action. You can also run A/B tests and compare which version performs better. Overall, it gives a lot for the price and feels well worth the money.
Cons
Of course, no platform is perfect and this one still has a few areas that need improvement. I ran into one issue when my boss asked me to carry out multivariate testing for our campaigns which is basically a step beyond standard A/B testing. To make that happen, I had to duplicate the same campaign several times with small changes in each draft. The plan was to send all versions at the same time so we could compare the results properly. As usual, we included a few dummy email accounts to monitor delivery. What happened was frustrating, the first version arrived within a few hours while the later versions didn't show up until the next day. That completely hurt the purpose of the test because something we wanted to analyze within a single day ended up stretching over two days. Since the campaign was tied to a one-day event, the results were no longer very useful. Going through that process also made it clear to me that while the platform is simple and approachable for beginners, once you need more advanced testing and deeper functionality, you may have to look at other tools as well and compare which one fits better.

“clean editor”
Pros
Compared with its competitors, getting started here is much more easy since there's no complicated verification to deal with. The editor is pleasant to work with, handles well and makes it possible to build attractive newsletters and landing pages. The analytics are also genuinely helpful because they show me what my readers care about which makes it easier to trim content down to match their interests.
Cons
Even though the overall handling is good, I still miss a simple way to integrate surveys from SurveyMonkey. Newsletter design could also be improved with a more modular editor for combining different elements. You can do it now but it often feels like creating a brand-new document from scratch. There are also times when I'd rather edit the preview directly instead of using the editor panel on the right. On top of that, the use of the word "Campaign" instead of "Newsletter" is confusing since it's not always clear whether a campaign means a single newsletter issue or the newsletter itself.

“flexible plans and useful analytics”
Pros
Getting started with this platform felt very easy because the editor is simple to use and pretty self-explanatory. Even someone new to email campaigns should be able to figure out the system without much trouble. It offers great value for the price especially with the free plan since you still get access to all of the site's features there. I personally went with the pay-as-you-go option and it worked well for what I needed until I eventually switched to a cheaper alternative. The analytics are detailed and informative across the different options which makes them genuinely useful. It also connects well with a wide range of other programs and apps.
Cons
One limitation is that the editor only comes with fairly basic templates and editing tools. The pricing structure can also be a little confusing when you first look at it. Costs can add up quickly as your subscriber list grows because you're charged for each subscriber, including duplicates. Another downside is the lack of phone support. If you're actively editing a campaign and run into a question, there's no way to call and get immediate assistance since customer service is only available through email.

“clean templates and simple setup”
Pros
This app feels simple and uncomplicated which is exactly what I want. It doesn't take hours to learn and that's a big plus. Its main purpose is creating emails for customers or mailing list subscribers and it handles that really well with templates. You can build your own template or just use one of the provided ones. The forms are also easy to design so a lot of the hard work is taken out of the whole process.
Cons
One thing missing from the free version is the email send timer, along with a few other features. I'd really like to see that scheduling option included in the free plan.

“free and packed with automation”
Pros
Free version has been a huge plus for me and honestly it covers everything I need. It handles all the smaller tasks really well, from creating separate email lists to automating specific actions and tagging contacts so they receive different marketing messages. There's also a user-friendly landing page builder that I've used to bring in leads and attract people to my gym.
Cons
I honestly can't point to any real downside. It's free or very inexpensive, simple to work with and includes a lot of automation features.

“powerful campaigns and insights”
Pros
Running large email campaigns with this has been really satisfying. The templates let me drop in my own photos and build layouts that look polished and professionally designed without needing a graphic designer. Adding links is easy and the tracking is especially useful since I can quickly see who opened the email and which links people clicked so I get immediate feedback on how well the email performed.
Cons
The part I enjoy the least is how much time it takes to import contacts. The whole "lists" setup can also be confusing and I really wish there were better ways to connect existing tools like an Excel spreadsheet or database to those lists. That way, when something gets updated in one place, it would sync across the interfaces automatically instead of forcing me to import a newly updated list every single time.

“fantastic start for newsletters”
Pros
Getting started without paying anything is a big plus and if your site runs on WordPress, the integration feels very easy. It works especially well for small businesses or startups that want to launch newsletters and begin using email marketing as a new digital channel.
Cons
One downside is that support can be limited when you're on the free plan so getting help may take some patience. Once the business begins to expand, upgrading to a paid version makes more sense especially since there are several plans designed to fit different needs.
