“packed with useful improvements”
Pros
I find the interface easy to use and the regular feature updates make the platform even more valuable over time.
Cons
Only downside is that it costs more than a lot of other similar services.

“helpful subscription pages”
Pros
Subscription pages have been especially useful whenever I launch a new business and I like that anyone can use the platform without technical expertise.
Cons
I honestly can't think of any downsides. I'm not a technical professional but I've been completely happy with the service overall.

“reliable inbox delivery”
Pros
Email deliverability has been excellent in my experience, with messages consistently reaching inboxes. The large template library, flexible plans and easy customization add even more value.
Cons
Pricing is quite high compared with other email tools. The free version comes with very limited features and the basic plan only allows 12,000 emails per month. Emails sent from a free account include their watermark and the billing team is slow to respond.

“packed with campaign tools”
Pros
Even the free plan offers enough features for me to run complete campaigns, grow mailing lists through CRM integrations and build landing pages that support conversions.
Cons
It doesn't really hurt the customer experience over time but some parts of the platform do take a bit of learning. You should plan to spend some time getting familiar with everything before you're fully up to speed.

“powerful features and helpful support”
Pros
Onboarding process was easy and the documentation answered most of my questions. Whenever I needed extra help, the chat support team was there and I also benefited from features like automation, customization and send-time optimization.
Cons
Only real downside that comes to mind is the free plan limit for new users. A 1,000-contact cap works fine for some people but it can feel restrictive for others who are just getting started.

“fantastic for marketing beginners”
Pros
As a beginner, I found the platform very approachable. The free plan let me learn email marketing without spending money and the drag-and-drop templates made campaign creation simple for me.
Cons
I honestly don't see any major downside to the software itself but the mobile app has been an issue for me. It tends to lag quite a bit on mobile devices.

Pros
Out of all the newsletter tools I've tried, this has been one of the easiest to use. I appreciate the broad feature set and the flexibility to either design from scratch or start with pre-built templates.
Cons
there isn't anything I dislike about it.

“drag-and-drop emails with helpful analytics”
Pros
Creating professional-looking emails takes very little effort. I can drag and drop content into place, monitor campaign analytics and easily track opens and engagement.
Cons
One of the biggest frustrations is that it still does not support collaboration well. There are plenty of times when I am working on a specific email or message with other people on my team and only one person can make edits at a time. Because of that, we usually end up drafting most emails in a better shared workspace like Google Docs first and only after everything is finished do we move the content over and design the template in the platform.

“packed with newsletter features”
Pros
Number of features available is impressive, yet everything remains well organized and easy for me to navigate.
Cons
This isn't exactly a dealbreaker but customer support is barely there. There's no email, no phone number and the chat support is only somewhat available and not very helpful. I once spent about two hours chatting with a rep who still couldn't figure out the issue and eventually gave up. I ended up finding the problem myself later and they sent me a T-shirt afterward which felt like their way of making up for it.

“simple email design and automation”
Pros
Email design and automation felt natural to learn and the interface made it easy for me to get productive quickly without needing much outside help.
Cons
One thing I would have appreciated is a better walkthrough for some of the email trigger sequences. Like I mentioned, I ended up relying on videos to learn how to automate certain emails that I felt should have been explained more clearly inside the platform itself. It was also not very clear when the switch happens from the free plan to the paid version, I assume it depends on subscriber count but that was not explained very well.

“affordable plans with powerful features”
Pros
Affordable pricing is one of the reasons I've stayed with the platform. The free plan met my needs initially and upgrading unlocked additional features without becoming expensive.
Cons
I did run into a few issues when trying to integrate it with some other platforms but the customer support agent was very helpful and guided me through fixing everything.

“handy bulk emailing tool”
Pros
Sending bulk emails to all of my clients is simple and the platform handles everyday email marketing tasks without complications.

“drag-and-drop emails that shine”
Pros
I can build polished emails in minutes using the drag-and-drop editor and I rarely need to touch code. The website forms, list-building tools and CRM integrations have also been extremely useful as my needs have grown.
Cons
You do give up a bit of control. Since it's designed with beginners in mind some coding and customization options have been limited in favor of simpler modules. That's not necessarily bad but if you know HTML and want full control, this probably isn't the best fit. There's also a slight learning curve when it comes to setting up lists and segments, you really have to understand how the platform expects you to use them. If you don't follow that structure, it can get frustrating. For example, pricing is based on each "person," so if the same email appears on two separate lists, you can end up being charged twice. The workaround is to use smart segments within one master list but if you're set on keeping totally separate lists, you may pay more than you planned.

“effortless setup and happy clients”
Pros
Getting up and running with it takes almost no effort and once you're in, using it feels even more easy. I recommend it to all of my clients and I honestly haven't received any negative feedback from any of them.
Cons
If you're on the free plan, customer support is basically not helpful. There is a brief trial window that includes free support but it's limited and not especially quick. Thankfully, in all the years I've used MC, I've only had to contact support once.

“newsletter workflow done right”
Pros
Handling newsletters and internal communications with this tool has been a real help. I manage monthly updates for two different organizations and it gives me a practical way to build and maintain subscriber lists, including segmentation and grouping so messages can be targeted more appropriately. The templates are simple to adjust and once I customize a favorite, I can save it and reuse it again and again. Putting everything together and sending it out is very easy. After that, being able to follow up, check who responded and keep track of engagement without spending a lot of extra time are some of the biggest reasons I keep using it.
Cons
At times, squeezing everything I want into a template can be a bit tricky. Anyone expecting something on the level of Adobe Illustrator will probably be let down. And if you already have a full graphics team and marketing staff ready to handle everything, this may not be necessary. For everyone else though, those small limitations are usually manageable and not too hard to work around.

“fantastic email campaign starting point”
Pros
Whenever I need to put together an email campaign, this is where I begin. It comes with excellent templates and the interface is very user-friendly. Pretty much anyone with a bit of experience can schedule an effective campaign without much trouble. Overall, it's very simple to work with.
Cons
When it comes to making specific customizations, it can be difficult to figure out what parts you're actually able to change. More advanced users may not find the customization options as easy when trying to adjust an email campaign.

“contact uploads and drag-drop win”
Pros
Uploading contact lists is one of the things I enjoy most, along with the drag-and-drop editor. We manage several lists for different marketing campaigns and it's really simple to add them and keep everything organized in one place. Building clean email templates and layouts is just as easy. You can drag in sections and divider bars to separate content which makes the whole process feel very simple. Overall, I'm very happy with it.
Cons
there's not much I dislike about this software. If I had to change one thing, it would be the rich text formatting. At times, the system keeps the most recent formatting choice and applies that instead of picking up the formatting from similar text sections. Aside from that, I really appreciate how simple and user-friendly the system is.

“easy email marketing value”
Pros
If you're not very technical or just want a great email marketing system without spending much, this is a really good choice. The platform is simple to pick up, simple to use and they seem to be regularly working on improving the features and overall functionality. It also includes drag-and-drop design tools along with several well-designed templates.
Cons
It does include landing page creation but that feature still doesn't measure up to something like Leadpages or a custom-built landing page. The email automation options are also fairly limited and not especially powerful.
