“excellent email marketing toolkit”
Pros
Back when I first needed something like this about five years ago, my IT provider pointed me to it and it has easily turned out to be the best email and promotional software I've used. Customer support has been incredibly fast to respond, always polite and they've resolved every issue I brought to them. It's simple to manage and the recent interface update made it even better. I was able to set up subscription forms on my iPad within minutes and the double opt-in options are excellent for reassuring subscribers that we're not spamming anyone. The customization options feel unlimited and our emails regularly get compliments. Tracking is excellent as well. Even the company's updates and newsletters have a fun, witty, creative personality. We've also purchased bulk email packages, the pricing has been very reasonable and everything has been delivered right on schedule.
Cons
Only situation that comes to mind happened during one bulk email campaign, when a couple of troublesome people clicked to report our messages as spam or inappropriate even though they were neither. It only took two or three of those complaints for us to get a notice that our account had been flagged and could face suspension if it continued. Since we were using a legitimate list, it felt more like being vulnerable to trolls than an actual problem with the platform. Honestly, it's more of a warning than a real downside because I genuinely haven't found any meaningful fault with the software or the support team.

“Newsletter templates that deliver”
Pros
Creating email newsletters and marketing emails with this is really easy and being able to save templates for similar campaigns later is a huge plus. It's also simple to embed a newsletter signup form on a website and the Zapier integration works really well too.
Cons
My biggest struggle is usually the writing part, I'll sometimes sit there staring at a blank page with no idea what to say, lol. Still, the platform almost fixes that by itself. The built-in templates and examples make writing and sending feel easy and the email scheduling feature helps send messages at the best time to improve open and read rates.

“quick weekly email workflow”
Pros
Putting together weekly updates has been really convenient. I set up one template for my recurring emails and now I just duplicate it, make a few small edits and I'm done. In just a few minutes, I can have the next email ready and scheduled.
Cons
Every now and then, I hear that some emails end up in spam folders. I'm not really sure what causes it or how frequently it happens.

“email marketing favorite”
Pros
Using this app makes the whole process feel effortless. Whether it's reporting, designing forms or setting up lists, it offers an easy way to manage email marketing. It works really well for technical users too, thanks to the full API, eCommerce integrations, automation campaigns and more while still being very approachable for non-technical users with its simple editor and clear, easy-to-follow UX.
Cons
One thing I'd really like is the option to generate reports automatically on a recurring schedule, like monthly or yearly, in Pro accounts. At the moment, you still have to sign in and create those reports manually. I'd also like to see a more stripped-down editor designed specifically for simple text-only emails that don't require full layout options.

“Powerful campaign analytics”
Pros
This has felt like a powerful and very complete platform focused on evaluating marketing campaigns. It makes email personalization much easier and the feature set is very comprehensive, including analytics, A/B testing, geographic targeting and spam diagnostics.
Cons
One limitation is that it doesn't let you send the same campaign to multiple subscriber lists at the same time. Because of that, you have to send it to each list one by one which can take up time that could be spent on other tasks.

“Excellent templates and strong features”
Pros
Getting started with this tool is very easy. It comes with well-designed templates that make a nice starting point and the customer support is excellent along with useful downloadable guides. There are also plenty of advanced options for power users, like setting up emails for RSS feeds or blog posts, plus custom confirmation and subscription pages.
Cons
It doesn't really stand out much from other email clients and the monthly cost goes up as your list grows and you send more often. It starts out free when your list is still small which is helpful in the beginning.

“Great editor and templates”
Pros
What has stood out for me has been the fantastic drag-and-drop editor. Creating and customizing campaign templates feels incredibly easy and I haven't come across another ESP that matches it in that area. Managing contacts is very simple and handling assets is just as convenient.
Cons
The one thing I'd really want more of is automation without having to upgrade to Pro. I'd also love for the image editing tools to feel a little more simple and deliver more consistent final results.

“Simple campaigns with useful templates”
Pros
Using this list and campaign management tool has been a pleasant experience because it isn't overly complicated and is very user-friendly, plus it comes with a companion Android app. It makes it simple to connect with clients through subscribe forms, pop-ups and professional-looking email templates that are quick to put together. On top of that, the pre-built forms and built-in stats are really helpful for tracking how campaigns are doing. They also offer several account options, including a forever-free plan and the paid pricing feels fair for everything that's included.
Cons
As with most software, there's a small learning curve though it's minimal since the platform is fairly easy overall. I haven't run into any major negatives so far but one minor frustration is that finding your way back to the submission form links takes a bit of navigation know-how that I'm still figuring out.

“Fun and motivating email tool”
Pros
Using this software genuinely captures the feeling of sending emails in a way most tools don't. Little touches, like the monkey sweating and then giving you a high-five, make the whole experience surprisingly relatable and memorable. If you haven't tried it yet, that probably sounds odd but it really works and is something you have to see for yourself. On top of that, it's very simple to start using and doesn't take much effort to get up and running.
Cons
Not a con but the only real downside for me is that it can feel somewhat limited when you compare it to more expensive, full-featured CRM platforms. That's not an entirely fair comparison and I can tell they've been adding more capabilities over time but if email becomes a major part of your workflow, you may eventually reach a stage where you want more than this tool currently offers. At that point, it's possible you could outgrow it and move on.

“strong newsletter analytics”
Pros
Putting together newsletters with this tool feels very easy and the design can be customized as much as you want. There are also plenty of templates to start from and tweak to fit your style. One of the best parts is the tracking, you can see how many people opened a campaign, where they clicked, who opened it multiple times and a lot more. It almost feels like stalking but in a useful marketing way thanks to the advanced analytics. I also appreciate that you can resend campaigns based on validation rules, like targeting only the people who did not open the first email.
Cons
The part where you manage lists and add contacts can be a bit confusing at times although that may also come down to how I organize things. Another downside is that some recipients get the newsletter without images displayed so they need to click "Show Images Below," which does not make the email look very appealing at first glance.

“Simple tracking tool”
Pros
I've used it both for recruiting research participants and for sending newsletter-style emails to clients at a recruiting company. The templates look polished and are simple to customize and sending a large batch of emails only takes a click. It's also useful being able to track who opened an email and who didn't. Unsubscribing is easy for recipients and the free plan allows more than 2,000 contacts which is a practical limit for newer or smaller businesses.
Cons
One drawback is that sent emails don't get copied to your own email account. That may not matter to everyone especially if you don't want thousands of duplicate messages cluttering your sent folder but it was an issue for my previous company. We only had around 300 contacts, all former clients and we needed access to an email thread for each message. That made it possible to follow up with the small number of clients who hadn't replied by responding directly to the original email which matched our company's best practices. It's a fairly specific need but for us it meant going back to traditional mail merges. They didn't look as nice but at least every message had its own thread.

“flexible campaign tools”
Pros
Putting together polished communication pieces is pretty easy with this software because it includes all the core features and functions you need. It also connects nicely with most websites and gives you useful campaign options.
Cons
A feature I enjoy the least is the editing setup. Instead of working directly inside the actual template, you have to make changes in a panel off to the right. That makes the process a little slower and I honestly do not understand why it was designed that way.

“Reliable integration platform”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages of this software platform is how well it works with integrations. That flexibility has been a major benefit for us.
Cons
Customer support doesn't really feel hands-on since everything appears to be handled through email. Because the platform is so simple to use, this hasn't caused much trouble for our team but I can see how others might find it frustrating. It would be better if they offered optional support choices.

“advanced free automation tools”
Pros
After using it for 7 years, I can honestly say it offers every feature I've seen in paid options and even a bit more. Once you've spent a little time with it, it becomes very simple to use. The free plan is incredibly generous too, with up to 2,000 contacts and 12,000 emails per month. The automation features included at no cost are especially useful. It can automatically build my newsletter from posts on my Facebook page and send them out on a schedule. It also emails a customer when they visit my website after clicking through from one of my emails. The email templates are some of the simplest, fastest and most practical I've used. I can create as many lists, groups and segments as I need and it even generates contact segments automatically based on the groups people join, their campaign activity or combinations of rules and conditions. There's a lot it can do.
Cons
I really wish it had are better Google Forms integration without needing a third-party tool like Zapier, plus a visual rules builder and a CRM.

“Best pick for email marketing”
Pros
Hands down, this is the best tool I've used for online marketing. It's fun to work with, simple to use and still packed with plenty of features for both building and analyzing email marketing campaigns. The A/B testing options are excellent and the reports are really detailed. I absolutely love it and would fully recommend it.
Cons
It would be even better with more HTML slicing options or a bit more control over customizing email backgrounds but aside from that, it's a perfect service and easily one of the best on the market.

“Strong APIs and automation”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is the wide range of API options which makes it simple to connect the service with your own platform or online store. The automation features are also really powerful and we rely on them heavily to keep our mailing list active and engaged.
Cons
Web version works well but the mobile app is extremely slow and constantly throws connection error messages. When the mobile version does let you in, it's a very capable tool for creating and sending emails directly from the app. Still, the unreliable iOS experience is definitely the weak point.

“Free plan with strong features”
Pros
Running a one-person business, having a free option is a big plus. What's even better is that the free version comes with a lot of features instead of feeling limited or stripped back. The setup process is laid out step by step so it's very clear and simple to follow. The help resources are also strong, with detailed support topics and plenty of user-made tutorials on YouTube that make it easier to figure out different features on your own.
Cons
One small frustration is the button and menu placement. At times, items show up in different spots so I end up hunting around for what I need. It's not a major issue but it can be annoying. Updating account details was also more difficult than expected. When I tried changing the email tied to the account, I somehow ended up creating a completely new account. I ran into the same kind of problem when trying to change the username and it never felt like there was an easy way to handle either one. Even so, those issues weren't enough to make me stop using it.

Pros
The automated workflows are a big plus and the integration with Planning Center People makes everything much more efficient. It's incredibly helpful and saves a lot of time.

“powerful templates and automation”
Pros
From sending polished content to managing our contact list, this tool has been a really strong fit. The automation features and well-designed templates help us get content out to contacts efficiently and it also does a great job of helping us track, collect and engage contacts through our website.
Cons
Getting the automation set up takes a little time to understand and if the parameters aren't configured exactly right, the emails won't send.
