“Flexible subscriber tools”
Pros
Once I send a campaign, the reporting is really useful for seeing how many people opened the newsletter or email, who opened it and what links they clicked. I also appreciate being able to share the social media link. There are probably even more features I could be taking advantage of if I spent more time learning the platform. At the moment, I mainly use it for newsletters and for promoting programs and special offers.
Cons
Designing my own template is where I struggle the most. I can end up spending quite a bit of time trying to get the graphics sized correctly and there are definitely tools and features I still do not know how to use well so I usually stick with an older template I have used before or a very basic one I can put together quickly. Another area I still need to learn better is segmentation since that would likely help improve my open rates. If I send to too large of a list, the email can end up in spam or get delayed by a firewall.

“Clean and simple tool”
Pros
Bringing in contacts from lists or services like Gmail and Yahoo is really easy. The free version allowing up to 2,000 subscribers is a huge plus and upgrading gives you unlimited subscribers, A/B testing and a bunch of other useful features.
Cons
Earlier on, I ran into a few issues getting emails formatted correctly for desktop and mobile. Lately though, their updates seem to have helped a lot since it's now much simpler to preview both versions while building an email and my recent emails have been displaying properly on mobile.

“Known brand but limited features”
Pros
Interface and tools felt simple to navigate. The knowledge base is incredibly thorough and the support is on another level, live chat, email and genuinely skilled reps who actually help. It's also priced very well compared to competing services.
Cons
There are a few minor issues with triggers so it's not a complete 100% replacement for every other service.

“strong tracking and sharing tools”
Pros
The platform is easy to use and its brand is widely recognized which adds a level of trust and familiarity.
Cons
The biggest downside is the cost especially considering some useful features are missing. It doesn't offer quick, user-friendly website integrations and there's no option to automatically resend campaigns to people who didn't open the first email after 7 days. It also lacks tools for tracking the best open times and scheduling delivery so emails arrive when each recipient is most likely to open them.

“Good for small lists”
Pros
Adding social sharing to emails and CTAs is really useful and the platform does a great job of tracking opens and clicks.

When working on emails with several images, like newsletters, getting the formatting right can be a bit tricky.

“Helpful templates and lead capture”
Pros
Book has been a reliable go-to email marketing option for small businesses and bloggers. It's simple to work with and the signup forms offer more customization than a lot of other email marketing tools. The free plan is also generous enough to support up to 2,000 subscribers.
Cons
Templates feel pretty basic compared with platforms like SendinBlue, Active Hosted, Mailpoet and Benchmark. While the free plan is useful, it comes with a lot of limits especially around support and automation which makes it fall short next to SendinBlue.

“Mobile-friendly and easy tool”
Pros
They have a free version that's easy enough for collecting email addresses through a website and sending out content like lead magnets. The email templates are also really helpful and make putting content together much simpler.
Cons
I've run into a bit of difficulty when trying to customize the embedded forms on my website but it's definitely not a deal breaker. I can make a few adjustments on my site to fit the forms.

“API integrations and insights”
Pros
Getting detailed insights from my emails along with the tracking features has been really efficient. Designing any email and sending it out is also very simple and convenient.
Cons
Everything has been working well for me up to this point and I haven't run into any issues yet although the cap of around 3,000 subscribers could become a limitation for some users.

“Live reports and templates”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is how widely adopted it is because so many of the products we use already connect to its API. That makes day-to-day work really convenient since we don't have to keep doing repetitive exports and imports between different tools and the platform. Beyond using it internally, we've also built integration with it directly into our own software product which has been a big plus. Setting that up is quick and easy too, with just one API key to copy and paste. The graphs are excellent for presenting data clearly and I especially love that they're clickable so you can drill down further into the numbers and get much more specific analytics.
Cons
So far, everything works well.

“Popular platform but weak support”
Pros
It is incredibly easy from the start. The reports update in real time and provide a lot of detail. It also tracks returned mail without flooding our inbox which is a big help. Managing lists is simple and the templates are outstanding, very flexible and surprisingly simple to edit right in the browser. The mobile app is also excellent for campaign tracking since the information is always available when needed.
Cons
Honestly, I can't point to any real downsides as long as it's used properly with your own client base and not for spamming large groups from pre-purchased email lists.

“Clean email builder”
Pros
When you're placed on one of their reliable servers, emails do get delivered. It also connects with a wide range of integrations and it's probably the most widely used email marketing platform out there.
Cons
Customer support is pretty useless and getting a response takes far too long. If the system gets blocked and stops sending emails, they leave you completely in the dark with no notification that anything is wrong.

“scalable features for teams”
Pros
Putting emails together feels professional thanks to the drag-and-drop editor and importing customers from Excel is easy. The whole platform is simple to navigate, easy to use and polished enough to make you feel like you know exactly what you're doing.
Cons
One downside with the free plan is that there's absolutely no customer support. You used to be able to send them an email and get a reply but now support is only available if you pay. I'm hoping to grow my subscriber list enough to justify upgrading because that's when I'd really be able to get the most out of the app.

“Powerful email insights”
Pros
Being a small company, we still get full access to everything they offer, including the API, automation and the rest of the platform's features. It scales really well for us and we use it to trigger onboarding and welcome email sequences for customers along with marketing campaigns for prospects.
Cons
There honestly isn't much for me to complain about, aside from one billing issue that feels off. If I'm around 50 contacts away from the next pricing tier and upload a list of 100 people, it treats all 100 as brand-new contacts first even when some are just updates to existing records. That temporarily pushes us into the higher billing tier for the entire month before the system finishes merging duplicates. This has only happened once but after the merge was completed, our total contact count was actually back below the limit of our original tier and we still had to pay for the higher one.

“Limited templates and customization”
Pros
From the start, it creates a fun experience for customers while also offering strong email tools that help you connect with them effectively. I really appreciate being able to begin with a free account first to test whether it's the right fit before moving up to a pro plan. As a business grows, the platform provides valuable customer analysis and lets you track whether people are actually opening your emails and viewing your content. It's simple to learn and there's a great library of support documentation that helps with customizing your email workflows and content. I recommend it to my clients all the time!
Cons
Only downside is that you need to go into several different sections to find all the customer data you want to review.

“Handy tools for small business”
Pros
One thing I appreciate is that it's free up to a certain contact limit, I think around 300. It works well for beginners who just need a basic tool to send out simple email blasts.
Cons
On the downside, it doesn't offer much flexibility. There aren't many options for making changes or adding things and the customization for eblasts only goes so far. It feels pretty restrictive overall. The template selection is also limited and many of them come across as cheesy and overused.

Pros
Running a small business is much simpler with this software. It's easy to use, packed with really useful features and lets me manage client accounts on my own without any hassle. I can also send newsletters immediately or schedule them days ahead which is incredibly convenient.
Cons
