“Contact insights made simple”
Pros
This software gives me a lot to work with especially when it comes to contact management and data analysis. Those features have been really useful and are a big part of why I enjoy using it.
Cons
The paid plans feel a bit pricey and there still aren't many built-in automation workflows available.

“Reliable email automation from day one”
Pros
It was the first email automation tool we used and it really helped us handle both marketing campaigns and transactional emails without much hassle.
Cons
Over time, it has become pretty expensive for a small startup like ours but in terms of overall functionality, it is still one of the best platforms available.

“Smarter email design and tracking”
Pros
One of the things I like most is how it really shines when it comes to designing eye-catching email templates especially with its easy drag-and-drop editor. It also makes it very simple to schedule campaigns for specific target audiences. The audience dashboard is useful for tracking current growth, engagement rates and even where your audience is located which helps a lot when planning future emails more effectively. On top of that, it offers dependable email deliverability checks and spam monitoring, helping make sure sent emails do not bounce or end up in recipients' junk folders.
Cons
One of the things I appreciate most about it is its free plan. When I was first getting started in the digital space, that was exactly when I came across it and it offered great service through its free plan.

“Easy campaigns for every team”
Pros
Right away, I found the interface and overall theme simple and user-friendly. The template editor works really well and even the free plan comes with plenty of useful features. The detailed reporting is also a big plus because it helps keep track of every client record.
Cons
Only downside with it is that the subscription plans are quite expensive.

“Quick setup and mobile access”
Pros
Getting started with it takes almost no time for me because the learning curve is very small and rolling it out across teams is quick and easy. Really, all of its features feel simple to work with. Having the mobile app is also a big plus since I can manage everything while I'm on the go.
Cons
Honestly, I don't have anything to complain about because it fits my needs perfectly. That said very heavy users working with large teams, it may start to feel limited when it comes to more advanced features.

“A trusted name in email marketing”
Pros
One strong point is that it does a really good job of sticking to what it's built for and doing it well. It has stayed a dependable name in email marketing, with an simple, user-friendly platform that helps businesses of all sizes and industries work toward their email marketing goals.
Cons
One thing worth noting is that it's CRM integrations can be stronger with some platforms than others so it's a good idea to try it out with your specific CRM setup before fully committing.

“Hassle-free domain verification”
Pros
Getting everything up and running is very easy and even domain verification which can be a hassle on some other platforms, is pretty simple to handle in it.

Pricing is quite high so I have to keep removing contacts or moving them around regularly to avoid getting charged extra.

“Simple branding with clear analytics”
Pros
Once I learned where everything is, it became really easy to use. The first steps can feel a bit confusing while figuring out which features do what but after that it's very manageable. Customizing newsletters so they match my brand is simple and that matters a lot to me. The follow-up analytics emails after each campaign are also helpful and laid out in a way that's easy to understand.
Cons
The pricing jump is what really puts me off. If your subscriber list stays under 2,000, you don't have to pay but the moment you go past that point the cost starts increasing. Then every time your subscriber count grows again, the price climbs with it. I don't love knowing that whenever I upload a new CSV of contacts to my list, I'm likely setting myself up for another price increase. The more expensive it gets, the less worthwhile it feels to me.

“Understanding audience growth better”
Pros
Keeping an eye on how my audience changes over time has been a huge advantage for me. The full set of features-emails, websites, landing pagesms and more-is very user-friendly and the platform does a really good job of guiding you through things when you are still learning how everything works.
Cons
While creating forms, editing certain elements felt a little tricky. Some of the form builder options were also somewhat tucked away so it took me some time to figure out where they were in order to change or move them.

“Dependable delivery and engagement tracking”
Pros
One thing I've noticed is that it has been a very dependable platform for us. The interface already felt familiar to a lot of our team so there was barely any learning curve and their sending IP quality seemed consistently strong which helped keep our open rates high. With other tools we tried over the years, the sending quality felt less controlled and we saw noticeable drops in opens even after taking time to warm up the list. Setting up campaigns was easy, creating attractive emails was fairly simple and we could also bring in templates from other sources. The reporting was clear and logical and being able to monitor client engagement over time was genuinely useful.
Cons
Our team stayed with it for more than 10 years, mainly for email newsletters. As the product evolved, they kept adding more features but for our needs that actually made the platform feel more complicated. We mostly used it for occasional large mailouts and it was a good fit back when adhoc credits were available. Once they moved to subscription-only pricing even if that change made sense because of the added functionality, it no longer made financial sense for us to keep using it.

“Email marketing without complexity”
Pros
The best thing about it is how simple it is to use.
Cons
It's also very quick to learn if you're just getting started. On top of that, it's an important tool for any company since it stores key communications, campaign results and contact database lists.

Pros
Even without much knowledge of marketing or websites, I find it very simple to work with. I can log in and put together a full campaign in under 30 minutes.

“Easy lead capture and reporting”
Pros
One of the most user-friendly email marketing tools I've worked with, it does a great job with engagement tracking and campaign reporting and capturing leads is simple since website forms can feed contacts straight into a mailing list. Customizing emails is also very easy. There are a few additional features in the platform that we haven't really taken full advantage of because they're not essential for our particular setup.
Cons
Pricing is still the biggest issue for me. The limits feel restrictive and not very competitive when you compare them with other options on the market today. I'm also not particularly impressed with the automation features although that may matter less if your main goal is just collecting leads and sending marketing emails.

“Why we switched to Mailchimp!!”
Pros
Among the email marketing platforms available, this has been one of the best we've used. The user-friendly setup was a major reason we chose it. We had been working with Constant Contact before but ended up transferring all of our clients over to it.
Cons
We really haven't run into any problems with the software and at this point there isn't anything I can say I dislike about it.

“Affordable audience management”
Pros
Getting this software has been a really good value. It lets you manage your audience, create and design emails and send campaigns out easily while staying compliant, all for a pretty low cost.
Cons
The one thing I wish it offered was integration with our current website provider. At the time, we were considering setting up e-commerce but to make it work, we would have needed to redesign the entire layout of our site.

“Small business marketing made easy”
Pros
Compared with Klaviyo, this one comes in a bit cheaper and connecting it with Facebook is much simpler. It also covers all the basic things a small business really needs.
Cons
It still lacks some features that Klaviyo, its main competitor, already has. Considering Klaviyo offers more, the pricing feels like it should be a little lower. The platform is also not as simple to move around in as Klaviyo.

“More than just email marketing”
Pros
It has been around for many years and that longevity shows. It handles its core purpose-email marketing-efficiently and effectively, while also including a broad set of extra features that can improve a campaign whenever needed. In the end, it does what it's supposed to do.
Cons
One change I wasn't thrilled about was the move away from separate mailing lists. it now uses one global audience that has to be organized through tags and segmentation instead. It definitely took some time to adjust to even though it still works. Personally, I would have preferred to keep independent mailing lists based on the different goals tied to our lead capture needs.

“Growing with your mailing list”
Pros
Compared with other email marketing platforms I've tried, it feels like one of the most complete options available. As I've grown my mailing list, it has helped me understand what my audience responds to. Getting started with it is easy and budget-friendly and depending on your audience size, you may not have to pay at all in the beginning. The contact limit before needing to move to a paid plan is also pretty generous.
Cons
The downside is that costs can climb fast once your contact list gets bigger. On top of that, being charged for unsubscribed contacts makes it even more expensive.

“best choice for fast growth”
Pros
This tool doesn't take much effort and it's quick to pick up. It still feels like one of the best tools available especially for helping small businesses grow a lot faster. The UI/UX is really enjoyable to work with and the landing page designs are something most users will end up loving.
Cons
One thing that really stands out is how big the gap is between the free plan and the premium package in terms of features. The premium pricing also isn't very practical for small to mid-sized businesses. On top of that, it feels like the free version keeps losing features over time.
