Unhelpful support with message issues

Pros

Messaging customers is simple using the shared team text line as it keeps everything in one place and makes collaboration effortless. I find it saves a ton of time managing communications since we're not duplicating efforts or missing messages.

Cons

efficient mass text messaging for recruitment

Pros

When we needed a texting-based solution for recruitment I discovered this platform could handle large-scale mass text messaging efficiently which I find really valuable.

Cons

Private and convenient student text help

Pros

I give my Math and Physics students text help between lessons and I notice they love it. Having a separate number keeps my personal phone private and I also find setting notification hours very convenient. Being able to use it from my computer, not just my phone, is something I truly like.

Cons

Please let me send PDFs from my phone instead of only from the computer, I REALLY want that feature right now!

simple HubSpot connection

Pros

Connecting it to HubSpot was simple and I also found the setup process very feasible which I appreciated.

Cons

time-saving messaging automation

Pros

I've found this tool to be incredibly handy and very convenient making it simple for me to keep in touch with both customers and colleagues. What really caught my attention were features like automating outgoing messages, building customer segments so messages feel personalized and syncing the same database across all my devices. Using automation in particular let me send tailored messages to different groups without manual effort which saved me a significant amount of time and reduced the busywork.

Cons

What bothered me most was how limited the customization options are, I had almost no practical way to adjust default settings to match my workflows.

HubSpot integration for on-the-go use

Pros

When I'm working, it fits right into HubSpot so I can pull up the app on my phone while I'm out and about or just use it directly inside HS at my workstation which means I don't need to install extra apps or juggle additional browser tabs to reach prospects and clients.

Cons

Occasionally, there's a delay between tapping the number and being able to type which I find annoying when it occurs.

Schedule texts and multimedia easily

Pros

One feature I absolutely love is being able to schedule a text to be sent later, it's brilliant. Plus when you add video messages, phone calls and other options, it turns into a really strong all-in-one package.

Simplified appointment scheduling

Pros

Using this product has genuinely simplified my day-to-day life! My team and I can now schedule prospective students into appointment slots to talk with us with real ease. Having that process automated has reclaimed a significant amount of our time. On top of that, I appreciate being able to keep my work separate from my personal accounts so I'm not constantly interrupted.

Cons

It would help me to record a dedicated voicemail for this service so calls wouldn't need to go to my personal phone and additional native integrations would reduce my reliance on Zapier.

Friendly and responsive support

Pros

Pros

Customer support is genuinely helpful. I connect the texting system to my booking platform and I appreciate that it includes an API, it works flawlessly every time. Messages arrive instantly without any delay. There is call forwarding which is essential for me and my business.

Cons

A slight lag occurs with call forwarding. I find the software a tad buggy but I understand that's normal for such an early-stage product at times.

Pros

The app's safety features really stand out to me and I find one-to-one messaging extremely feasible.

Cons

Reduced no-shows through texting

Pros

Since using it I've seen no-show appointments drop significantly and I find that texting is far more effective than email because most people check texts immediately.

Cons

Quick setup and smooth integration

Pros

Setting it up was super easy and I found adding members feasible. I also notice it saves a huge amount of time and connects smoothly with other apps I use.

Cons

I'd really love to see it integrate with FrontRush, the athletic recruiting software I use though I recognize that right now it might not be targeted at that particular market.

simple HubSpot integration and responsive support

Pros

Integrating it into our HubSpot setup went without a hitch and I find that whenever a question or issue comes up, their support team responds quickly and helpfully. I notice they consistently go the extra mile to walk me through best practices and fix problems efficiently.

Cons

Not a con but I wish the reporting were stronger and I think the opt-in versus opt-out figures don't accurately reflect who truly signs up, they mostly show those who didn't opt out which isn't the same as a real count of active opt-ins.

Poor customer support experience

Pros

The 14-day trial really impressed me, I found signing up simple and I could quickly enter my credit card details without any complications.

Cons

Honestly I found their customer support awful, they didn't listen to me at all as a customer and I can't even fathom how much worse it might have been if we'd continued using their service.

easy ActiveCampaign integration and automation

Pros

Setting up the ActiveCampaign integration was incredibly simple and I find it ties into automations flawlessly. I also notice the interface is tidy, messages always deliver and every conversation logs into my ActiveCampaign notes. After trying other platforms, I find this one is by far the best for two-way automated texting and workflow automations.

Cons

Thankfully I did run into a problem where some messages failed to send at one point but the issue was resolved quickly by support.

Automated SMS via API for sales workflow

Pros

We can trigger an SMS to be sent through the API directly from our web-based SaaS that manages quoting and order taking. That lets an SMS conversation start automatically whenever a prospect requests a quote. After that automatic touch someone on the team can manually jump into SalesMessage to follow up and work to close the sale. Any teammate can reply and view the incoming responses. It's been really helpful for communicating outside of email during the urgent quoting and booking parts of our business.

Cons

I like that features keep being rolled out and that development moves at a good pace though the API integration's merge fields have become somewhat limited compared to earlier versions and I'd welcome greater ability to push more data into SMS messages via the API.

Sleek interface with powerful automations

Pros

Handling SMS and an entire contact database through this interface feels fantastic, I've yet to come across another tool that looks this sleek and well-designed. Add in the automations plus integrations with Zapier and ActiveCampaign and I genuinely think this setup is ridiculously powerful for my workflows!

Cons

There are a few minor features I wish were included but I find it encouraging that new ones are released almost every month.

Smooth HubSpot and Aircall integration

It integrates smoothly with HubSpot and Aircall which I find really handy for sending texts and I notice the support team is consistently helpful.

Cons

In the past the Aircall integration felt a bit finicky though they've since smoothed the process and I can always count on support to step in when needed.

User-friendly messaging for non-technical users

Pros

Even though I'm not great with technology, I find this tool extremely simple and user-friendly. I also notice it makes sending texts from my computer much easier than on a phone and it has aligned connecting with our CRM which I appreciate.

Cons

There may be an option to schedule messages for a future time but I haven't been able to find it yet and having that feature would be really useful. Since I'm on the East Coast, there are times I want to message people on the West Coast without disturbing them at six in the morning their time.

Quick ActiveCampaign setup

Pros

Honestly I'm really impressed with this software, installing and getting it running was really simple and I find working with it feasible. The ActiveCampaign integration even helped me land two deals I might have missed otherwise which I find incredible.

Cons

So far I can't really point to anything I dislike about the product. if I had to nitpick it'd be great if they added Calendly as an option for scheduling meetings.

HubSpot integration works

Pros

Integration with HubSpot works nicely once I manage to get the connection set up though I had to spend a bit of time on that step.

Cons

Setting a password is really difficult for me especially on my iPad tablet, I also couldn't get the chat to work and it kept saying replies would take hours. Constantly having to log in is annoying and I keep getting requests for feedback at all hours which is especially frustrating during my off-work time like right now.

PipeDrive centralizes texts

Pros

What I really like about this software is its integration with PipeDrive which I find keeps our team's texting centralized, every conversation ends up in one place and reflects in our CRM.

Reusable messages save time

Pros

Messaging between twenty and fifty clients each day is much easier with this tool and I find the workflow very aligned. I especially appreciate being able to store lots of reusable, canned messages so I don't have to type the same thing repeatedly. Most of the time I can send a text while also leaving a voice message and I find that process quick and simple to execute.

Cons

Honestly I don't have many complaints about it. What I have noticed though, is that occasionally when I type a contact into the search field nothing appears on the first try. In those cases I end up searching with another piece of contact info, like an email or phone number, before the right person shows up.

two-way SMS with automation

Pros

I think this platform is a fantastic two-way SMS solution. Its built-in Keap (Infusionsoft) integration lets us launch automations which I find broadens the product's capabilities significantly. The recently released API is something I plan to use to automate, scale and personalize our SMS campaigns even further.

Cons

There are a few small features I'd like to see added to their native Keap integration though they're relatively minor and hardly worth calling out given that no rival comes close. More importantly, we've only been using the app for about a month and they've already pushed out multiple great updates.

Zapier integration works

Pros

Zapier integration stands out and I'm impressed by the useful functionality it offers. The support team has been responsive and I find their help genuinely reliable whenever I need assistance.

Cons

Not a con but I've been hit by the per-message pricing. Since we send a large volume of texts, I'd love to see a tiered deal where buying a block of messages grants us bonus or discounted messages something like buy X and get extra free credits. Right now there's no price break for purchasing in bulk, every text costs the same regardless of quantity. Offering an upfront-purchase incentive would make me more likely to commit to a larger package.
