Their marketing really pulled me in. It honestly made the service sound simple to use and worth paying for but in the end it felt like the promise was all in the advertising.

Using it was not user friendly at all and to make matters worse, two different reps insisted I had reactivated an account when they had actually charged my credit card without my knowledge.

It is very user friendly especially for anyone without much background in web design or coding. The drag and drop editor makes it easy to personalize pages, add photos and videos and update content whenever necessary. Also it comes with a good range of templates along with helpful business and marketing features. Overall it offers strong value for small businesses that want to handle their website in one place.

Some of the more advanced tools are only available on higher-tier plans which can make it costlier as a business expands. The editor may also feel a bit slow at times when working on larger pages or using lots of design elements. On top of that certain settings and customization options can take a while to locate.

Going in I honestly thought the Wix editor would fall apart the moment I started dragging images around but it somehow stayed intact and worked better than I expected. Not having to deal with hosting or server setup is also a nice bonus. At this point I just want to get back to my desk now.
