The automation features built into the site are really useful as they cut down how much I need Zaiper and that directly reduces my costs. Once the workflows are set up, it feels like the platform is doing a lot of the heavy lifting for me.

Cons

Interface can be a bit confusing so it takes time to get used to it. At first, it's also a bit unclear how everything connects together in it. After you spend some time with it and get the hang of the flow though, it becomes much easier to understand and use.

Has multiple ways in which you can view you data so it can match whatever you need at the time. Different teams ended up wanting different pieces of the same dataset and this tool made it simple to set up filtered views for each group when they access the data.

Cons

If you're not very technical, it can feel a bit hard to use. It has a lot of capability so it pays to plan ahead and think through the setup if you want it to work well long term.

Let us import all our Excel files in one go which I really liked especially since I was hesitant about having to redo everything manually. Its easier to use than a spreadsheet and it's genuinely more comfortable to work with day to day.

Airtable includes a lot of smart features but depending on the plan, the cost feels really high to me.

Gave us many different options for organizing our information. It's like a spreadsheet but it also has the database structure so it's easy to track and manage different types of data all in one place. I also really appreciate the customization options, creating views, applying filters and setting up layouts makes everything more readable and easier to work with.

The part I like least is that some of the advanced features require a bit of time to get the hang of. The basics feel easy to use but once you start trying to set up more complex workflows or automations, it can be confusing at first. There's definitely a period of trial and error before you feel confident using everything effectively.

Extremely flexible and can be adapted to a ton of different jobs. We've used it for project tracking, contact databases, inventory management, grant tracking, personal and team to do lists and even communications planning. It basically works like a jack of all trades tool that can cover lots of use cases without forcing you into one rigid format.

Cons

Getting started with this can be a bit difficult. The more tech comfortable folks on my team picked it up quickly but others struggled sometimes even with basic navigation in an existing workspace. It takes dedicated time to onboard teammates so they actually feel comfortable using it, including for people who are only viewing. A few team members also felt it was too complex to learn how to build their own tables from scratch.

Very easy to integrate and it helps our team improve the product for end users. Users never really see Airtable but it's handling a lot behind the scenes and makes things simpler for both our developers and the people using the product.

We run a wide range of tasks on this, everything from data management and project tracking to content workflows and CRM use cases. The big win is how customizable it is so we can adapt it to different kinds of teams and processes without needing separate tools for everything.

Not much to complain about. Every once in a while we try to do a more advanced workflow that this software can't handle out of the box but there are usually workable workarounds. On top of that they keep rolling out new features so those gaps tend to get closed over time.

The free version has way more than I expected and it's plenty for what I need. The coloring tools are genuinely enjoyable and the level of customization is really thorough. It also handles different genres well without feeling limited.

Every now and then it hangs or freezes when I save but after waiting a bit it comes back and nothing ended up being lost. The only thing I'd tweak is that the color palette could use a wider range of options.

Works well as a relational database, letting teams keep huge amounts of shifting, real world data organized and dependable. Another big win is that it can function as a no code or low code tool which makes rollout pretty simple across different departments. It's also a genuinely useful collaboration and project management hub.

Cons

Keeps adding new capabilities but there's still more room for improvement in the variety of data views and visualizations available inside the platform. Stronger, more advanced form options like matrix style layouts and more flexible conditional logic would make it easier to use as a full replacement for other survey tools at my organization.

Implementation was incredibly fast and fit neatly into our existing workflows right away. Staff didn't need any training either as everything is really user friendly and people could start using it immediately without a learning curve.

I'd really like to see more built in templates with example use cases. Even though what we're using today already works well, it feels like the tool can do a lot more than we've unlocked so far so extra examples would help us get there faster.
