Honestly feels like a big step up from the older Google Sheets way of working and the upgrade is pretty noticeable. One thing I really want to highlight is how compact it is, coming in at just 56MB. These days even basic 2FA authenticator apps can easily run 200MB. That size difference says a lot about the attention to detail and care that goes into the product.

I'd love to see a more solid activity log report. It would be great if admins or base owners could clearly see when changes happen, who made them, exactly what was changed and even revert back to a specific point in time if something needs to be undone.

Pricing is also on the higher side which some people feel fits more "premium/luxury" teams than everyday use.

Being able to decide which fields show up in the expanded view of each record is a huge deal for us. We can add custom fields that match how our specific group works. Once those fields are set up, they're carried across the other elements in the same structure so everything stays consistent.

There's definitely a learning curve and it can feel a bit frustrating. It sounds a little odd to complain about "too much choice," but I still prefer a simplified overview page where everything is visible in one place. Airtable doesn't really give you a single, clean dashboard style view like that by default. With lots of different view options and multiple tables, it can get overwhelming unless you're careful about keeping the setup organized and simple.
