“Keeps every project aligned”
Pros
Working with multiple team members, departments, projects and clients, Asana helps us keep a lot of moving pieces organized and progressing in sync.
Cons
The per seat cost can feel high when your team is very small especially with just 1 to 3 people. Even so it more than pays off by organizing teamwork making capacity easier to track and helping new work move in or existing work keep advancing.

“Client transparency done right”
Pros
Our team has really enjoyed using it. We rely on it for internal communication and it also gives clients clear visibility into the creative side of projects.
Cons
One challenge has been finding a time tracking tool that integrates well with our workflow. We currently use MyHours and it doesn't integrate. Our previous system did connect but the integration still wasn't as smooth as we wanted.

“Flexible project views”
Pros
Having several ways to look at my projects is the best part for me whether it's the visual board, a list, timeline or calendar. Since I am a visual learner, those different layouts make a big difference. I wish I had been using it back when I was planning my wedding.
Cons
I haven't used it deeply enough to judge every feature so I cannot really point to any major downsides yet. At this point though, it's been excellent for personal use.

“Powerful features for complex work”
Pros
It comes with excellent features that feel more advanced than what I have seen in Trello.
Cons
I use both this and Trello. Even though I appreciate the more advanced functionality here, those same features can also make it feel a bit complicated at times.

Pros
What I like is that it keeps tasks and projects very well organized. Adding team members is also easy and the way it helps prioritize work makes collaboration much more effective.
Cons
There is not much to complain about overall. The only downside is that the pricing feels a little on the higher side.

“Easy project tracking win”
Pros
Getting everyone on the same page is pretty easy with this tool thanks to its user friendly interface. It's simple to use with multiple users and the ability to set up separate projects with their own deadlines makes it much easier to keep everything organized and on schedule.
Cons
It does take a little time to learn At first but that's manageable. Watching a few YouTube tutorials or getting help from someone on the team who already knows the platform usually clears things up quickly.

“Fantastic for team projects”
Pros
Handling several projects at once has been really helpful with Asana especially when working with multiple team members.
Cons
The toughest part has been staying consistent with updates and keeping everything current so the software remains useful. Over time, I sometimes fall out of the habit and stop using it regularly.

“Reliable task tracking companion”
Pros
After using it for the last 9 months I haven't run into any crashes or bugs at all. It keeps me focused and on schedule and the interface is easy to work with. Another big plus is being able to use it from my phone and tablet as well. Overall I'd recommend this app to anyone who wants to keep their tasks and projects organized.
Cons
One thing missing is an undo button. Aside from that, everything works well. They also have an amazing support team that's ready to help at every step of the process.

“Useful collaboration”
Pros
Sharing work with other people is simple and it's really helpful that there's a dedicated space for comments tied to specific actions.
Cons
I do enjoy using it but it still feels a lot like any other project management tool since they all offer pretty similar things. I also have a bit of trouble seeing references especially on mobile and subtasks can get buried so deep that it takes too long to find them.

“Generous free plan”
Pros
Asana covers a lot of ground with its features, including task management, scheduling, materials management, Gantt charts, collaboration and more. The only thing really missing at this point is time tracking. On top of that the free plan is quite generous since it lets you collaborate with around 10 to 15 other people. Compared with other project management tools, many offer far less on their free tier or only allow a single user.
Cons
The interface still needs work if it wants to match something like Monday.com. I have used Monday before and honestly it set a higher bar for usability which makes it feel behind in that area unless it eventually pulls ahead with more features. Time tracking is another gap that stands out especially for freelancers and digital nomads who depend on it. I am still surprised it hasn't been built in yet. Getting everything set up also wasn't very friendly for non-technical users so it takes some patience to get comfortable with it. Project management systems are naturally complex but Monday definitely does a better job when it comes to onboarding and setup.
