“Strategic planning that delivers”
Pros
One thing that really stands out is how well it handles resource and time planning which helps keep projects on schedule. On top of that it provides an amazing structure for tracking every action and task employees carry out across the business.
Cons
Nothing bad to share. It's simple, highly strategic and adds real value to every process within a company. The overall impact seems genuinely positive and useful.

“Helpful task tracking but limited depth”
Pros
It did the job for our team when it came to completing tasks and monitoring project progress and the interface was easy to use.
Cons
Compared with other tools I have used like Zendesk, Wrike and Monday it didn't feel as powerful. We couldn't properly track upcoming projects or set up a dashboard that showed only our own tasks. That made it harder to stay organized and get a quick view of what still needed to be done.

“Agile-friendly”
Pros
Using it for agile projects has been very easy and moving between different topics and sections is user friendly and simple.
Cons
One thing it's missing is the ability to apply multiple status tags to a single task for better progress tracking. For example, it would help to tag a task with both testing and QA Phase 1 at the same time.

“Powerful team collaboration boost”
Pros
As a project management and collaboration platform, Asana really helps teams work together more effectively. It noticeably boosts productivity and feels more capable and feature-rich than many of its competitors.
Cons
When it comes to team use, it offers a lot of strong functionality but for individual use it still feels quite complicated and overly complex.

“Feature-packed upgrade”
Pros
Compared with the management software I used before, it gives me far more features for just $25 a month which feels like a really great value.
Cons
It did take some time to get used to the platform and there was definitely a bit of a learning curve at the beginning.

“Project teamwork done right”
Pros
Building teams, assigning tasks and managing projects make it an excellent tool for companies focused on project development. Its functionality works really well and the small playful touch when you complete a task makes using it more enjoyable.
Cons
Formatting text within tasks can be a bit tricky. A lot of the time, information comes to us first in apps like Excel or Word so the most practical thing would be to copy and paste it directly into tasks and with this software that process feels somewhat complicated.

“Fantastic client collaboration hub”
Pros
Without a doubt, this is one of the best project management tools I have used. It lets you work closely with clients directly on tasks, cuts down a lot on back-and-forth emails and makes delays very visible along with who is accountable for each task.
Cons
Getting everything configured at the beginning can take a while if you want to make sure all project metrics are tracked properly. That initial setup also matters a lot when it comes to giving external parties access only to the specific projects they should see.

“Clear project flow”
Pros
The best part for me is how clear the project flow is so I can quickly understand what's going on without needing help from anyone. Creating tasks and handling other actions is very easy which makes the tool simple for everyone to use.
Cons
At this point everything has been working well for me. I haven't run into any difficulties or found anything I dislike about the tool.

“Quick board search wins”
Pros
Jumping through different boards is really simple especially with the keyword search. It makes finding what I need fast and keeps everything well organized.
Cons
Getting started could use a bit more guidance or some built-in walkthrough instructions. Other than that, it has been a fantastic experience overall.

“Customizable teamwork that keeps us aligned”
Pros
One thing that really works well with Asana is how much you can customize, plus the ability to add extra detail to tasks and projects. It keeps our team much more connected and organized because everyone can clearly see who owns what, the current status and the expected completion date. Since we work remotely, it has become a key part of how we stay on track and work together.
Cons
I'd love to see stronger reporting features especially the ability to view when tasks were actually completed. It would also help if recurring tasks appeared in the calendar view as upcoming scheduled items. Another improvement would be having a dedicated Reviewer role on tasks instead of needing to create separate dependent tasks for that purpose.

“Powerful project collaboration hub”
Pros
Asana does a really good job of bringing everyone on a project together while giving you the tools to stay fully in control and keep a specific timeline moving forward. It's especially useful for projects with multiple parts, contributors and ongoing collaboration.
Cons
Getting started with it can feel a bit overwhelming since the interface isn't the most welcoming for first-time users. There are also so many integration options that it's possible to drift off track and lose coherence on larger projects.

“Versatile project control”
Pros
Managing multiple projects across different teams works really well here especially with the highly customizable permission settings. The different layouts like List, Board and Timeline make it flexible enough to fit all kinds of projects and workflows. Custom fields are also incredibly useful for tailoring each project, tracking progress and keeping information organized. On top of that the Slack and Gmail integrations make collaboration with teammates much more efficient.
Cons
Over the years, more and more useful features have been added, like managing subtasks, turning subtasks into full tasks or even converting a task into a project when it grows too large. It's also become very simple to share a task across multiple projects or boards. I don't have any real complaints about it.

“Quick onboarding”
Pros
It's very easy to use and flexible enough for different workflows. Onboarding a team is pretty easy and you can create projects quickly without much hassle.
Cons
This tool doesn't feel especially strong in any one specific area. Since it's built as a broad, general-purpose product, it ends up doing a lot of things well enough without really excelling at any of them. If you need something more specialized for a particular team, like engineering, its feature set won't really stack up against tools that were designed specifically for engineering project management.

“Calendar view keeps everything aligned”
Pros
Calendar view has easily become my favorite part of Asana and I rely on it every day. Seeing my tasks laid out in the calendar helps me decide how to prioritize my time each day. It's also incredibly useful for our team tasks. We've set up work across several different projects and when we open the Team Calendar, we can instantly see every task due that week across all of them. That kind of visibility is extremely helpful.
Cons
It gets a lot of use from us for project management but one thing becomes frustrating when several people are involved in the same task. If we want that task to appear on each person's individual list, we have to duplicate it and assign each copy to someone else. Then when we go back to the overall project view, the task list can get crowded fast because the same action item may appear three separate times just to include three people. It would be much more organized if one task could include multiple tagged assignees without creating duplicates.
