“Task tracking that just works”
Pros
Getting assigned 10 tasks in a day feels much more manageable with Asana. One feature I really enjoy is that when I finish a task, I just click the done button and it instantly moves from the undone list to the completed list. It also makes prioritizing my tasks very simple which helps me stay organized throughout the day.
Cons
I think it works extremely well for task management, whether you're using it as an individual or within a company. To me, it feels packed with features and does the job really well.

“Clear time tracking wins”
Pros
One of the most useful parts is being able to see both the time already spent and the time still needed to reach project goals. The software gives really valuable visibility by totaling the hours the team has invested and comparing them against what was originally planned. It also lays this out clearly across the main tasks and all related subtasks within a project. On top of that our marketing team has been able to create organize and store project files without any trouble.
Cons
At times projects need input from people in other departments which means information has to be shared across teams. That can become a challenge because not everyone is comfortable with that level of visibility between areas of the company. There can be some resistance or mistrust especially since there is not always a clear separation or confidentiality around the progress being made by each part of the team.

“Helpful shared task tracking”
Pros
This software lets us organize tasks and connect them together in one place so everyone on the team can access them.
Cons
I still don't know the platform well enough to use it to its full potential though that's probably more on my side than the software itself.

“Project tracking”
Pros
Keeping our work organized is where it really helps. It lets us monitor every project we have going, set priorities clearly and make sure tasks actually get completed. Team collaboration is also a big plus since working with other teams and departments is very easy.
Cons
One thing that would make it much better is being able to comment directly on files inside the app. Right now, if someone uploads a PDF or document for review, I have to download it, add my notes and upload it again. Having in-document markup would be a huge improvement. I'd also really appreciate a way to view all the tasks I am following. If you're not the assigned person, the task doesn't show up in your feed so a report or list of followed tasks would be very helpful.

“Flexible project control powerhouse”
Pros
Running a lot of projects in an IT company means we need a tool that can handle planning, management and tracking without becoming messy and it has done that really well for us. The way projects and tasks are structured is clear and organized which is essential for how we work. It's also one of the most flexible platforms we've used so we were able to digitize our project setup the way we wanted without having to make compromises. We can build out projects and task lists with detailed descriptions, milestones, goals, deadlines and reminders, then prioritize and tag tasks as needed. It also helps a lot that we can mention teammates in comments to get their attention, add collaborators instantly and create dependencies between tasks and even across projects. The calendar view is a favorite because it gives us a good overview of everything in progress, while the workflow view is especially useful for team members who are deeply involved in project management. On top of that the reporting export options give us helpful insights whenever we need them.
Cons
The one area that continues to be frustrating is data export. Even though we have developers on staff, pulling out the exact data and fields we need is still difficult. One of our teams uses it to track communication with current and prospective customers and we invested a lot of time in building forms and custom task fields for that process. The problem comes when we try to export that information through the API because we run into several issues that result in poorly formatted or incomplete-looking data.

“Collaboration turns into a nightmare”
Pros
The automations it includes are a nice touch.
Cons
Handling complex projects, tasks and workflows is anything but simple. The biggest problem though is collaboration on tasks with lots of subtasks as tracking down messages and discussion threads becomes almost impossible, whether you look in the task itself, the Inbox or anywhere else. It's a nightmare.

“Task visibility that really delivers”
Pros
One thing that has been really useful about Asana is how it lets me assign tasks and organize them by priority so the team always knows what to work on next. It also integrates very well with Google Drive and Outlook which makes everything more practical. On top of that it gives a complete overview of the work and helps spot possible issues before they turn into bigger problems.
Cons
I honestly have nothing negative to say about this platform.

“Easy teamwork for complex projects”
Pros
The tool works really well for managing multi-layered projects where several people or even different teams need to coordinate together. It offers a lot of functionality yet it still seems fairly easy to use. Getting started doesn't take much effort and teams can become productive and collaborate effectively without a steep learning curve.
Cons
On bigger projects it can become so broad and detailed that people who aren't involved in the workflow regularly may feel a bit lost or uncomfortable using it.

Pros
One thing I really appreciate is being able to choose the workflow layout that fits the way we work. It also does a really nice job of letting you break bigger projects into smaller, manageable tasks and assign each piece to different team members.

“Versatile task tracking hub”
Pros
Right away it became something I genuinely enjoy using. It's simple to navigate, makes it easy to keep up with both my own tasks and team assignments and we even rely on it as a content calendar for social media and email campaigns. Tasks and subtasks can each have their own due dates, notes and attachments which helps keep everything organized. I end up checking it every single day.
Cons
Its value definitely drops when some people on the team don't actually use it. Also, if a project deadline changes, you have to manually adjust the due dates for all the related tasks as well. Because of that, staying on top of updates takes time and really needs someone to consistently own and maintain it.
