“Great for collaboration”
Pros
I appreciate being able to create projects and collaborate on them with teammates since it makes organizing work and sharing responsibilities much more simple.
Cons
One major drawback for me is that I cannot set up repeating tasks that include subtasks because whenever a recurrence triggers the subtasks end up duplicating themselves excessively and cluttering the project.

“Automation Saves Time”
Pros
What I really appreciate is being able to set up 'rules' for each project or category which then automatically routes tasks elsewhere either when they're completed or when they require attention, this automation has made task management and working with my team on Asana incredibly efficient, saving us time and reducing manual follow-ups.
Cons
I've found the desktop and mobile experiences feel noticeably different and because of that inconsistency it's been a bit tricky to get all users aligned and coordinating smoothly across devices which creates small workflow hiccups for our team.

For my requirements, the tool feels a bit too rudimentary because I need something that handles in-depth project management along with cost and resource planning plus comprehensive reporting.

Pros
What I really appreciate is how simple and easy to use the interface feels and I'm able to spin up numerous projects and tweak each of them to suit my specific needs.

Pros
For me Asana felt incredibly simple to navigate and genuinely simple and I mainly relied on it to manage tasks for both school and personal projects, sharing projects with others and tailoring them to fit my workflow proved equally simple.
Cons
What I appreciate least about Asana is that, compared with some other project management tools, I personally don't find its visual design to be as attractive or polished as those alternatives.

“Recurring Tasks Helpful”
Pros
One feature I truly appreciate is the ability to set up recurring projects and appointments since it saves me from having to recreate the same items repeatedly and keeps my schedule consistently organized.
Cons
I've noticed that whenever I'm mentioned in a task the notification lands in my general inbox instead of showing up in the Assigned Tasks tab which can make those mentions easy to overlook.

“Clear Roadmaps”
Pros
I'm a big fan of the way I can build project roadmaps from start to finish and I really appreciate the color-coding options that let us flag priority levels and categories across tasks because it makes the division of responsibilities clear and easy to follow.
Cons
There are times I feel overwhelmed by how many different features and places exist to file tasks and that abundance can cause items to fall through the cracks or entice people to obsess over organizing the project so much that it eats into actual billable or scheduled work time.

“Great for Team Portfolios”
Pros
In my experience Asana works exceptionally well for managing projects particularly when I'm collaborating with a team because its portfolio feature lets me monitor several initiatives at the same time so nothing slips through the cracks, overall the interface feels tidy and highly organized which is something I always prioritize when choosing a tool.
Cons
I wish that some of the materials on Asana could be available without an extra fee although I realize that's part of their model, another frustration for me has been trying to work on the move with my phone since I could never find a way to duplicate tasks into a different project while using the mobile app.

“Organizes Work Well”
Pros
Over time I've come to prefer Asana since it organizes my work and keeps everything well organized. It's simple to navigate, helps me monitor tasks and ensures the whole team stays informed. I can assign responsibilities, set deadlines and watch progress unfold. It integrates smoothly with tools like Slack and Google Drive. The variety of views, such as lists and boards, makes planning simpler. All in all, it helps me stay on top of my workload.
Cons
For me the biggest downside to Asana is that the sheer number of features can be intimidating and make the interface feel cluttered. At times I struggle to keep tabs on everything when tasks and notifications pile up. It also demands a learning curve and several useful advanced tools are locked behind paid plans.
