“Excellent for planning work”
Pros
It's very helpful to track team tasks and processes. It keeps the people assigned to tasks organized and I can easily keep an eye on project timelines and see how everything is progressing.
Cons
A lot of the key features are only available in the premium plan which makes tracking employees and monitoring key metrics limited if you're using the free version.

“Works well for small tasks”
Pros
We use it to plan program tasks, event agendas and training days in a really simple format. I love how visual it is with boards and timelines and it's easy to see what's on track and what needs extra support.
Cons
As projects get bigger and have more sub-tasks, the dashboard can feel overwhelming. It also takes a little training for new team members who aren't used to task management apps, so onboarding can be tricky.

“Game changer cloud-based service”
Pros
This has been a game changer for managing projects and because it's a cloud-based service I can access it from anywhere without needing to install or set anything up on my computer, that convenience alone has saved me time. Also, I find the set of features very helpful for simplifying project oversight, everything from tracking projects and individual tasks to deadline alerts and automatic updates to task statuses makes keeping work organized much easier.
Cons
There are a few tools I find missing in Asana, notably, it doesn't offer a native Kanban board option so I've had to make do with the Gantt-style project manager despite being much more comfortable with Kanban workflows. I'm really hoping they'll add a Kanban view in the future because that's what I'm used to and it would fit my process better but otherwise I haven't run into any other significant problems so far.

“Incredibly useful for monitoring”
Pros
From my experience, it's incredibly useful for monitoring team tasks and workflows because it helps the people assigned to work stay organized and lets supervisors effortlessly keep an eye on project and task timelines.
Cons
That said, I've found that many essential features require a paid plan which means important metrics and the ability to track employees are much more limited when you're stuck on the free tier.

“Organizes tasks with visual elements”
Pros
We rely on Asana to organize our program tasks, schedule event agendas and map out training days using a simple layout because of the visual elements like boards and timelines, it's simple to identify which items are progressing well and which ones require additional attention.
Cons
I find that once projects expand and pile up sub-tasks, the dashboard can feel rather cluttered and overwhelming and new teammates who aren't used to task-management tools will need some hands-on training to get up to speed.

“Full control over tracking tools”
Pros
What I really appreciate about Asana is that it lets me monitor every single project in one place while offering full control over rules, custom tags sorting options and all the other essential tracking tools I rely on daily.
Cons
I've noticed that whenever I come across problems with Asana, the support team can be slow and unresponsive which is frustrating because I would much rather have a live chat option for quicker help instead of being forced into filing a support ticket and waiting.

“Simplifies remote work coordination”
Pros
Using Asana, I've found it makes coordinating remote work much simpler allowing me to keep tasks, deadlines and team conversations organized and easy to manage across different locations.
Cons
To be honest, I feel it doesn't justify the price tag because it isn't particularly distinctive compared with other tools so I don't see a ton of added value for the cost.

Pros
For me it's incredibly user-friendly, I find it both attractive and highly functional, with an simple interface, intelligent automations and excellent features for working with my team.
Cons
I'm not a fan of the board view, having used similar kanban-style layouts in other tools, I find Asana's implementation feels noticeably different and less simple for my workflow.

Pros
I've found this to be a solid tool for managing work and projects, offering a powerful set of features and responsive customer support that usually helps me when I run into issues.

I had been come across ing an annoying auto-logout bug on Asana's iOS app but our internal support team identified and fixed the issue for me early last year, resolving the problem.

“250 free automations monthly”
Pros
For me and my team, Asana gives us 250 automations each month which significantly simplifies our workflows and frees us from constantly worrying about extra costs for project automation so we can focus more on actual work rather than repetitive setup.
Cons
I do miss the Kanban-style boards that other project management tools I've used tend to include and while that's a noticeable omission for my workflow, apart from this there aren't many other real drawbacks I can point to about Asana.

“Variety of view layouts”
Pros
I've found Asana provides a variety of view layouts to pick from which makes it simple to tailor how I look at work and it's also simple for me to organize projects and assign tasks to teammates.
Cons
What annoys me the most is the absence of native time-tracking so I have to rely on and stay logged into a separate third-party app to capture hours which interrupts my workflow.

Pros
One thing I really appreciate is being able to switch between board and calendar views which helps me build a more complete understanding of my workload.
Cons

“Excels as task management tool”
Pros
I find Asana really excels as our company's task management tool because it's simple to set up, assign responsibilities to team members and mark work as done for both individual contributors and groups which keeps us organized.
Cons
Personally I'd like to see more frequent UI refreshes since Asana's current appearance is rather minimal and could use some visual enhancements to make the interface feel more lively and engaging.

“Easy to identify my tasks”
Pros
I find it extremely simple to identify which tasks are assigned to me, no matter which project they're tied to so I never have to hunt through different sections to figure out what I'm responsible for.
Cons
From my perspective, a truly comprehensive project management platform should bundle a wider range of integrated features that you can use without switching between tools and while Asana is strong at task tracking, to me it feels mainly like a focused task manager rather than a full all-in-one PM suite.

“Efficient for property projects”
Pros
I love using Asana because it's so efficient for organizing and overseeing projects for each property I manage, I rely on tasks, sections and milestones to monitor every stage and more often than not all projects reach completion before their deadlines. Assigning work to team members, setting due dates and attaching files happens quickly and simplely and I appreciate that I can switch between multiple task views like list, Kanban, Gantt chart and tables. The numerous automations for repetitive work save me a ton of time and make it much easier to handle both many tasks at once and complex workflows.
Cons
As a daily Asana user, I feel it can be overwhelming for newcomers and usually requires some dedicated training because it offers so many different features, views and configuration options that take time to learn.
