“user friendly task tagging”
Pros
The thing I liked most was how user friendly it felt and the tagging feature was really helpful.

It doesn't offer options to customize it so it can better fit your specific needs.

“Fantastic project tracking toolkit”
Pros
Using it has been a very positive experience. As the interface is flexible and easy to use. As a power user, I rely on it heavily. Features like the Gantt chart, mentions, activity tracking, dashboard, task prioritization and team collaboration have made my daily work much more enjoyable and manageable.
Cons
I must say it has been an excellent piece of software that supports and empowers me every day. At this point I have not come across anything that I feel needs improvement.

“Engaging collaboration”
Pros
It is pretty easy to use and the app seems user‑friendly overall. Tracking assigned tasks, managing projects with the Gantt chart, tagging colleagues, team interaction, the dashboard and collaboration features are all very engaging and easily the parts I like most.
Cons
I am satisfied with this application and don't really see anything that needs improvement right now.

“feature packed trial”
Pros
The free trial is packed with features so you can really test the platform before paying and decide if it fits your needs. Also it's a very versatile, full featured tool that can cover a team's requirements quite well.
Cons
The mobile app is probably best avoided because it can be frustrating to use. Another downside is that you cannot assign one task to multiple users although I understand that may not be a feature everyone is looking for.

“Powerful project tracking hub”
Pros
Asana does a really good job with team messaging tied directly to specific projects. One thing I appreciate is being able to create smaller message threads which makes it much simpler to reply within a sub-conversation without losing the context of the discussion.
Cons
The biggest downside I have noticed is the loading time. Sometimes the app takes a very long time to open the first time. Aside from that, it's still an excellent digital workspace for project tracking.

“Handy desktop app”
Pros
Having a desktop version for PC is a big plus especially when you already have a ton of web pages open during the workday. Plus it keeps things really convenient and using it is surprisingly simple like so much that you almost end up wondering why it's this user friendly.
Cons
At first the app can come across as a bit bare but once you actually begin using it, that simplicity works well. The background may also look plain when you first open it yet you can customize and build on it and after adding features, it no longer feels empty at all.

“Agile workflow”
Pros
Asana works really well for task management especially with an Agile workflow. The tracking features and notifications are genuinely useful for keeping work organized and making sure nothing gets missed.
Cons
It would be better with more detailed tracking at the sub-task level. Integration with other systems could also be improved and the implementation cost can be a concern.

“Flexible editing process”
Pros
The way Asana displays information is the part I appreciate most. Everything is laid out clearly and the editing works really well whether I am on a computer or using my phone.
Cons
One thing we weren't too happy with was the option that locks a completed task. At times one team member would mark the window as finished and then the others couldn't go back in to edit their parts within that same window.

“Helpful team organization, too many emails”
Pros
It's a really great way to keep a team organized and make everyone's responsibilities clearly visible.
Cons
The downside was the number of emails it sent just to keep things on track which felt more irritating than helpful to me. It also seemed like a simple free organizer could accomplish pretty much the same thing.

“Versatile collaboration across projects”
Pros
Asana works really well because it's highly customizable and flexible enough to fit all kinds of project workflows. It's especially useful for small to mid-sized teams that need to stay connected and communicate in real time across several projects at once. It's also a decent option for involving clients since they can jump in with comments, edits and approvals across different timelines.
Cons
That same flexibility can also make it feel a little too open-ended. Setting up team projects in a way that seems simple and clean takes some time and getting everything activated properly isn't always easy. If it's not structured the right way, the platform can start to feel a bit confusing and unnecessarily repetitive.

“Powerful features for teams”
Pros
Right from the free plan it gives us a lot of features that many other tools don't include. We can check activity logs, use file storage and access plenty of other useful options. It works really well when you have a lot of tasks to manage on your calendar and a lot of the work can be automated without much effort. It's also simple to use and honestly any team or department can use it to improve productivity.
Cons
One issue for me is the mobile experience. I use both the Android and iOS apps and neither of them feels as good as the desktop version. A lot of features are still missing on mobile that really should be available there just like they are on a laptop or computer. On top of that the pricing feels a little expensive.

“Remote teamwork that clicks”
Pros
Working remotely felt much more organized with this software. It let us set up projects and break them into tasks, keep track of where teammates were in their progress and easily review our own assignments for the week or even further ahead.
Cons
There were times when completed recurring tasks seemed to show up again much too often which made it feel like those repeat items were never fully done. On top of that for individual use, there were moments when a basic checklist would have been a simpler option.

“Strong collaboration, awkward dashboards”
Pros
As a collaboration platform, it's one of the better tools out there. It handles task tracking well and the goal-setting features are effective too.
Cons
On the downside building dashboards seems very confusing. It would also help to have a clearer create new feature added.

“Versatile organization for everything”
Pros
There are tons of ways to organize and keep track of information in Asana. I originally started using it for work and now I rely on it for planning events and managing personal goals too.
Cons
It has only crashed on me maybe twice. During those times, both the app and the website wouldn't load so I assume the whole service was down. It was definitely inconvenient but considering it's happened just twice in more than four years of near-daily use, it hasn't been a major issue.
