“Easy project management favorite”
Pros
This is probably the most user friendly project management software I have used. Overall it's a fantastic platform and having a free option available is a huge plus for small association teams.
Cons
I'd really love to see the free plan expanded with more of the paid features since small nonprofit associations could benefit even more from what this product offers.

“Highly organized projects”
Pros
Everything is arranged in a way that keeps each project simple and manageable. I can track every site and its progress in one place and it's quick to go back to older links or notes I have saved whenever I need them.
Cons
I honestly didn't run into many real problems but getting around the website the first time was a little confusing. It took me some time to get familiar with how everything was laid out.

“Helpful for remote collaboration”
Pros
Asana works really well when collaborating with a small number of remote workers, contractors or freelancers. For that kind of setup, it keeps things organized and makes coordination much easier. At the same time I can see it becoming difficult to manage if our whole team tried to use it as the main project management system for every workflow.
Cons
One thing that gets frustrating is how overwhelming the notifications can be unless you spend time adjusting alerts for every conversation and thread. I also wish there were a better way to attach lots of photos to a task or thread without each one showing up full width and taking over the preview area.

“Task capture on the go”
Pros
Adding tasks is one of the best parts of using it. I can even tell my phone to create a task while I am driving which is perfect because that's usually when I remember what needs to be done.
Cons
It comes with a lot of features and at times I am not completely sure whether I am using everything the most effective way.

“Easy planning that keeps teams aligned”
Pros
The interface is user friendly and welcoming and that makes a big difference when using it every day. I really appreciate being able to see the start and completion details for each activity and the Gmail integration is also very useful. It helps manage tasks and projects professionally while dividing work clearly among team members in an efficient way. I can set reminders and recurring tasks which saves time and the sync with Google Calendar makes everything feel more complete and centralized. Another thing I enjoy is how customizable it is for different users and preferences, like choosing the project view that fits best. It works just as well for my personal to-do list and daily routines as it does for more complex business projects. Overall it brings teamwork together by helping us communicate organize and plan better so we can finish tasks faster than expected and keep the workflow moving.
Cons
there is not much bad to say but a couple of things do bother me. Sometimes the notifications take longer than they should to arrive, not every time but enough to be frustrating since nobody wants to be alerted late. I also wish it did not log me out so often because that gets annoying.

“Versatile digital workspace”
Pros
Using Asana as a digital workspace has been really convenient. It works well for managing different parts of a business and getting everything set up is simple too.
Cons
No cons as it has been excellent for exactly what we needed it to do.

“Versatile task planning”
Pros
Whether you're a student planning daily tasks, a chef organizing responsibilities, a teacher managing student curriculum or someone in almost any industry, this software fits really well into different kinds of work. It goes beyond simple scheduling or to-do lists too since it also supports communication within an organization. That matters a lot because strong communication is essential to keeping projects and processes moving especially in today's matrix-style work environments.
Cons
Up to this point my overall experience has been very positive but I'd still like to see better built-in options for document storage and sorting. A lot of the time, one document integrates to another or contains sections tied to a different file so having that handled directly inside the platform would make a big difference and reduce the need to rely on separate software alongside it.

“Top flexible boards”
Pros
Setting up work boards around each project is really easy and users can filter their tasks by deadline without any hassle. On top of that the comment section makes it simple to discuss work and stay aligned on each task.
Cons
I think it would be better if there were more board templates available so users could pick one that fits their project instead of having to build the entire work board from scratch.

“Reliable team coordination”
Pros
Getting Asana up and running was quick and it has stayed low-maintenance and affordable ever since. Adoption across the team was high and having both mobile and web access covers pretty much everything needed for day to day work.
Cons
It would be better to have stronger integrations with channels beyond Slack and Twilio and the automation workflows still need a bit more refinement.

“Team adoption fell short”
Pros
We moved over from Trello to Asana because it felt more professional but the team never really bought into it and was reluctant to share tasks. Because of that, we eventually dropped it and switched to another, more interactive tool that is now being used fully across the team.
Cons
There were also a few logic issues with how tasks were submitted back in 2019.

“Dashboard clarity”
Pros
Creating and managing tasks is really easy and setting up templates for recurring work takes almost no effort. Having everything gathered in one dashboard is also really helpful and I can jump into specific projects or individual tasks whenever I need to.
Cons
At the beginning the interface can feel a bit overwhelming. There's a lot of information on the screen when you're completely new to the software. Once you spend some time with it though, it becomes much more easy to use.
