“Fantastic for tracking campaigns”
Pros
Keeping our monthly digital marketing action plan organized has been much faster with Asana. I can set up projects, tasks and milestones in one place and tracking progress takes far less time than before. It has also helped my team stay aligned because everyone can clearly see their responsibilities and deadlines.
Cons
I haven't run into any major issues with it. The only thing I'd like to see is more extra tools included for free.

“Clear task ownership”
Pros
The product is simple to use as I did not need much setup or tweaking before I could start organizing tasks and working with my team. The task tagging feature is especially useful to me because it makes assigning work across the team much easier and it also makes it very clear who is responsible for each task.
Cons
There are limits to the kind of projects it can support. In my case, it didn't offer the level of customization or project detail that is really important for some of the more complex projects we handle. For example, I wasn't able to properly implement a Waterfall methodology using its features.

“Reliable task reporting standout”
Pros
Since 2018 it has been the tool my team and I keep coming back to for both project management and everyday task tracking. It has worked really well for us overall and the task reporting is easily the strongest feature.
Cons
The workflow still seems like it could be improved and the interface comes across as fairly outdated.

“Top quick setup”
Pros
Asana is a user friendly tool. As it was simple to deploy and I didn't need any training before I could start using it.
Cons
One limitation I ran into was that I couldn't configure task predecessors and there wasn't a way to assign different slack times to tasks either.

“Handy setup”
Pros
This is easy to use and it's been simple to keep everything up to date as we add more projects and tasks. The free version comes with the main features we need for managing our work.
Cons
The free version could use more reporting options and stronger filtering capabilities.

“Helpful client task tracking”
Pros
It's been really helpful for communicating with clients through this software. We post updates and tasks there which makes it easier for everyone to coordinate the work and keep things moving.
Cons
At first glance the software seems a bit complicated when you're using it for the first time although it does become helpful once you get used to it.

Everything from task management to lead management works exactly the way I need it to for my job.

It's honestly difficult to point out anything bad though the mobile app could still use a bit more improvement.

“Easy planning that delivers”
Pros
Asana is a simple tool. The interface is user friendly and bringing team members or collaborators on board doesn't take much effort. Whether it's a basic task list or a more detailed project plan, it does a really good job of keeping everything organized in one place so you don't have to track it all mentally.
Cons
I was only using the free version and honestly it already offers quite a bit for no cost. Most of the limitations I ran into were tied to features included in the paid plans and at the time, paying for it as an individual just didn't seem worthwhile. That said if you're looking for more complete project management functionality, the paid tiers would probably cover everything you need.

“Reliable team coordination hub”
Pros
It has been one of the most dependable business tools we use. It gives everyone a clear understanding of their roles, responsibilities and deadlines and the built-in messaging hub makes team communication much more convenient. It's a really important platform for keeping a company organized and setting up projects while assigning deadlines is very easy too.
Cons
The only downside I have noticed is that a few of the features can be a little confusing and customer support isn't always as quick as I'd like.

“Helpful task sharing insights”
Pros
Having this software in place has been really useful for sharing tasks especially when working with bottleneck resources like analysts in startups. It also makes it easier to understand the performance and productivity of those resources.
Cons
One thing that would make it even better is adding more features around expected task completion timelines for each user, based on similar tasks they've handled in the past.

“Workflow templates that save time”
Pros
Setting up project workflows and timeline templates in it is pretty easy and being able to reuse them across projects is a real time-saver. The kanban view could look a bit better visually though. The same goes for the sidebar menu as it doesn't surface the boards we use most often so you have to click more to see the full list and even the boards shown by default are usually not the ones used the most.
Cons
Once we tried rolling it out to a mid-sized team, the licensing costs started to feel a little too high for giving everyone their own user account.

“Versatile setup for any workflow”
Pros
Asana gives you a ton of flexibility in how you organize your work. It can be a simple to-do list, an inspiration board, a full project management tool or really whatever setup fits the way you work.
Cons
The thing that matters a lot to me is time tracking since it helps with making better decisions and I don't feel like Harvest, the tracker included, performs as well as Toggl which is the tool I already use.

“Flexible views for team planning”
Pros
Getting started with Asana doesn't take a lot of setup or formatting which is a big plus. The ability to switch between calendar, board and list views is really useful too especially for teams that manage work differently or have tasks that make more sense in one format over another.
Cons
The downside is that I haven't been able to use the project tracking features with the level of detail and customization our product development process really needs.

“Powerful project tracking tools”
Pros
It lets us handle both task and project management while also helping with analysis. Keeping track of tasks and overall project progress is very easy too and the platform is simple to work with. Also it has a mobile app which makes managing projects much more convenient on the go.
Cons
One downside is that the UI is not very good on mobile when accessing it through a mobile browser.

“Daily task control i rely on”
Pros
Asana has become a big part of how I manage my projects and day to day activities. I use it every single day to track everything connected to my work and tasks and it really acts as my control center and keeps me on top of what needs to get done. The reminder and notification features are especially useful since I get emails about pending tasks for the day and the week. Because of that, I stay much more organized and plan my work better throughout the day.
Cons
It offers a lot of valuable features and overall everything performs very well. If there's one area that could be better, it would be the integration with Google.

“Top remote teamwork done right”
Pros
Working with coworkers and even different teams on projects feels really effective on this platform. It lets you collaborate in one place and the email notifications about the progress of assigned tasks are especially useful because they help make sure deadlines are never missed. It's also one of the better tools for remote work since everyone can log in from any device and access it from anywhere.
Cons
Getting started does have a drawback though because the platform can feel complicated and a little overwhelming for new users. It's not very beginner-friendly At first so some training is usually necessary. I had a hard time adjusting to it in the beginning as well.

“Task tracking that keeps everyone aligned”
Pros
Breaking projects down into tasks and subtasks gives a very detailed view of how much progress each assignee is making. It's also helpful to see tasks displayed across different status columns. Assigning a team directly to a project works well and any task updates are communicated to the relevant stakeholders right away.
Cons
One thing that seems to be missing or at least wasn't obvious during my use, is a way to view the overall progress status of the entire project. Integration with Jira or Confluence would also make it even more useful.

“Helpful task tracking, limited crm options”
Pros
Day to day this software helps keep work moving across the business. With so many things competing for attention, it's easy to forget tasks or miss follow-ups and this does a good job of keeping those on track.
Cons
The pricing setup is a downside for me. I also wish it offered stronger features for running and customizing it more effectively as a CRM.

“Top fantastic task tracking”
Pros
Keeping all of our projects and tasks organized in Asana works really well. The task management tools are excellent and being able to add subtasks helps a lot when something needs extra detail. Uploading documents or files is simple and it makes finding and referencing them again later very quick.
Cons
One downside is that getting comfortable with all of the features can take a while and training new employees to use the software properly does require some time.
