“Excellent collaboration”

It is pretty easy to use and it doesn't take long to figure out how everything works.

Cons

One thing that could be improved is the ability to place a single task on two collaborators calendars without having to create a duplicate.

“Top project visibility”

Pros

One thing that's been really useful is how clearly it lays out my projects, along with the related tasks and timelines. It also sends email reminders about what I need to get done each day and any updates from my teammates which makes managing time and collaborating a lot easier.

Cons

At the beginning it was a little confusing to figure out how to add tasks to projects and enter due dates. I think the buttons and text fields for those actions should be more visible.

“Easy teamwork”

Pros

Working in Asana is not a hassle thanks to its user friendly interface. Adding multiple teammates, assigning tasks, leaving comments and keeping a clear record of the whole project journey has been really impressive.

Cons

One area that still needs work is integrations especially with tools like Git and IDEs. It seems a bit limited there right now which may be because the public API is not good enough yet.

Pros

Keeping up with my work feels much more manageable with this and it really helps me plan out my day and stay on track.

Cons

When I need to create a lot of tasks at once, the process can feel pretty tedious.

This platform is built to help teams of any size manage projects and day to day tasks. It gives everyone a clear view of project progress at all times which makes staying on top of work much more manageable.

Cons

Getting started can be a bit tough because the tools aren't very beginner-friendly and may feel overwhelming at first. Another limitation is that you cannot assign multiple people to the same task which becomes inconvenient when the assigned person is unavailable and the work needs to be handed off to someone else.

I cannot really picture staying on top of all my tasks without Asana.

I also rely on the Instagantt integration and really love having it but it doesn't work consistently every time.

“Powerful workflow features”

Using it every day has worked really well for me as a developer. It's easy to use for managing my workflow and the range of features it offers makes it a really valuable tool for keeping my work organized.

Cons

The part I am not happy with is that task automation isn't available on the free plan. It would be better if they included that especially since other software already offers it.

Pros

Starting my own tasks was easy and setting up team projects was just as simple. Plus it works well for keeping track of team members deadlines and staying organized.

Cons

When I connected it to my Chrome browser, I could create tasks without any trouble but I didn't get notified when some of the deadlines passed. I'd suggest improving the integration features so notifications work more reliably.

“Free plan covers everything”

For a small company, the free version gives you everything you need which is one of the best parts about using it.

Cons

I honestly love it and don't really have any complaints to mention here.

Being able to build subtasks across multiple levels is something I really appreciate and the mobile app works wonderfully too.

Well I don't have any complaints about the tool. If anything, I am just not making the most of it yet since I haven't really optimized it with integrations and could probably use it more.

It does a really good job of keeping tasks organized and making it simple to collaborate with other people across the business in real time.

There's nothing specific to complain about since the platform is easy to use and makes it easy to stay on top of what needs to get done.

Asana comes with a huge range of components and integrations, plus a very generous free plan. The variety of views is outstanding and the platform feels extremely flexible while still being simple to use.

Cons

One limitation is that a task cannot be assigned to more than one person. I understand this is meant to keep ownership clear and show exactly who is responsible for each task.

“Flexible setup”

Pros

One thing that really works well with Asana is how customizable it is. If you already think in terms of project management, it becomes a very powerful tool. You can structure everything in a way that fits your workflow and it also comes with the key integrations you need in place.

Cons

That same level of customization can also make things confusing especially when a project has been set up by someone else in a way you're not familiar with or that isn't optimized. It would also be better if it offered more built-out rule automations or gave users the ability to create more of their own.

Pros

It works really well for managing tasks and handling projects. It was quick to set up and using it day to day is very fun.

Cons

It still lacks a few features that I have seen offered by competing tools.

“Handy for small team management”

Having more users available during the free trial for small teams makes Asana really useful and it lets you handle a lot of management tasks with it.

Cons

The downside is that the Gantt Chart and Timeline tools aren't part of the free plan so only users with a paid license can view everything.

“Fantastic task boards”

Pros

Out of all the project management tools I have used, this one stands out as the best. It gives you boards, files and to-do lists and everything can be color-coded and organized the way you want. The boards work really well for handling day to day tasks, the file section is excellent for collaboration and the to-do lists help keep everything that needs doing clearly tracked. Being able to sort tasks into separate lists, set priorities and work on them together with other people is really useful. It also lets you assign due dates, add reminders and create tasks that involve discussions with multiple teammates.

Cons

Keeping everything organized can be a little challenging in the beginning. It's fairly difficult to use At first but once you understand how it works, it becomes much better.

Pros

In my opinion, this program is the best project management software available. It aids in the management of both projects and people.

Cons

The system is a bit difficult to set up but once you get the hang of it, its great.

“Rental repair tracking done right”

Pros

Keeping up with repairs across my properties was much more manageable with this. I used it to monitor which places needed work which jobs had been outsourced and which repairs were still outstanding. It fit really well with our move-in and move-out inspections for the rental properties and helped us prioritize what needed immediate attention versus what could wait until tenants were away for a weekend.

Cons

There was one time when some tasks vanished and it definitely made us question how reliable the software was for tracking everything. Thankfully, it hasn't happened again since that incident.

“Highly task tracking that delivers”

Pros

Being able to organize task lists and check items off as I finish different client assignments is a huge help. It keeps everything structured, helps me stay on top of deadlines and makes it much easier to keep track of what still needs to be done.

Cons

It pretty much covers everything I need it to do and honestly I cannot think of anything about it that I dislike.

“Motivating kanban organization”

Pros

After searching for a productivity app to keep everything organized and help me prioritize better, this one really clicked for me. I am a big fan of the different layout options especially the Kanban view and being able to sort tasks into categories makes everything much easier to manage. Creating tasks and breaking them down into subtasks is very convenient and I like that each subtask can be checked off separately. Drag-and-drop between categories also makes planning feel much more natural. The little animations that appear when I finish a task are a fun touch and honestly pretty motivating. On top of that having a free version available is probably one of the best parts.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is built-in time tracking rather than only having a due date indicator. It would be really helpful to log exactly how much time I spent on each task.
