“Top task tracking that delivers”
Pros
Assigning work to different team members is really useful and the step-by-step progress tracking makes it easy to see how everything is moving along.
Cons
The biggest challenge for us was the cost since it was hard to get internal approval for the paid version instead of sticking with the free plan.

“Flexible task setup”
Pros
One thing that really works well in it is how customizable it is. With workspaces, projects, sections, tasks and subtasks organizing everything and connecting related work is very easy. Setting up recurring tasks is also really useful for anything that needs to be done regularly. It also helps cut back on the number of emails and messages needed to discuss project or task details which keeps communication in one place. On top of that the calendar sync is convenient and easy to access so all assignments stay visible and it's much harder to lose track of deadlines or upcoming work.
Cons
A noticeable limitation is that it doesn't include built-in time tracking or task estimation which is disappointing. That said this can be handled with the Everhour add-on since it integrates well and lets you track hours and estimate how long tasks will take. Another issue is that the interface can sometimes slow down when there are a lot of tasks and reports in one place. Because the platform is also very text-heavy, it's fairly easy to accidentally disrupt the structure, delete a task or rename something without meaning to.

“Flexible task views i enjoy”
Pros
Setting up tasks and getting started is very easy and being able to switch between calendar and list views makes tracking everything especially helpful.
Cons
Recurring tasks still feel limited beyond the default options. There doesn't seem to be a way to add a custom start or end date to them and more complex schedules like having a task repeat on Monday one week and Thursday the next aren't supported right now.

“Fantastic for project visibility”
Pros
Asana has been an excellent tool for keeping all of our projects organized. The calendar view, along with the option to color-code each project, makes it much easier to see everything planned for the day at a glance. Being able to assign priority levels to tasks is especially helpful when several projects are running at once. It's also really useful for collaborating with coworkers on tasks, tracking progress and keeping everyone updated through notifications. Another big plus is having all documents, attachments and task-related communication stored in one place. Overall, it has been a very valuable addition for our team and has definitely improved our productivity.
Cons
The only real issue I've run into with the software is syncing the calendar view to the device I want to use. Connecting it with Google Calendar or iCloud is fairly easy but I've had trouble getting entries from my calendar to appear on my Apple Watch. That may be partly an Apple issue as much as a product itself but I still think a dedicated Apple Watch version of the mobile app would be a really useful addition. Being able to quickly check your watch for the next task or meeting would add a lot of value and save time.

“Handy access across devices”
Pros
One thing I really like is being able to use it on both my phone and my work computer. If I'm away from my PC, I can still check important messages whenever I need to. It's also really helpful that I can search the chat history and find the information I'm looking for even if I wasn't originally added to the conversation.
Cons
The mobile version of it feels a bit slow and takes a little time to load. I also wish there were an option to make video calls. Other than that, I've enjoyed using it and the available features and integrations have been very useful.

“Keeps every task on track”
Pros
Having the ability to add full tasks helps keep priorities organized, deadlines on schedule and work completed on time, while also maintaining a clear record of finished items.
Cons
I honestly don't have any real complaints. It does exactly what I need and it's very user friendly with only minimal issues or bugs.

“Flexible teamwork”
Pros
Asana is an excellent collaboration tool that helps teams handle all kinds of work and assignments. It can feel a bit confusing at the beginning but its flexibility and wide range of features absolutely make the initial learning effort worthwhile.
Cons
That said it should not be mistaken for a full project management platform because it lacks resource management tools, scheduling and cost tracking, along with other features you might expect from that kind of software. Even so it remains one of the strongest apps for managing tasks, workflows and certain types of projects.

“Powerful boards”
Pros
It is modern and user friendly. The interface looks fantastic, it doesn't take long to learn and it manages to stay simple while still being really powerful. The Kanban boards are one of my favorite parts and the way you can nest subtasks under main tasks and even within other subtasks, makes organizing work much more flexible.
Cons
My only real complaint is that I can't view all of my assigned tasks from all of my different boards in one place.

“Task assignment”
Pros
The tool is easy to use and the notifications are really helpful too. Assigning tasks and getting them completed is simple and convenient.
Cons
There is not much I dislike about it. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that it crashes quite often and that can interrupt the workflow.

“Helpful ticket tracking workflow”
Pros
One thing that has worked really well for me with Asana is handling customer feedback and sorting it before sending it to the right department. It helps us keep track of every ticket opened by customers and monitor the progress, including whether action has been taken and when the ticket is ready to be closed.
Cons
The downside is that there still are not many integrations available to connect with this software. I especially need an integration with GitHub and have already submitted a request to the developer but there has been no response yet. That kind of integration would be very helpful for IT staff like me in managing the helpdesk between it and our current system.

“user friendly task tracking”
Pros
The interface is user friendly and it's almost foolproof to use. It lets you create tasks easily and keep track of the work that has been completed.
Cons
It falls short when it comes to active management features. You can assign tasks and then only really see them again once they're finished, without receiving progress updates along the way.

“Beautiful design”
Pros
Getting started with it takes almost no effort compared with most project management tools. It has a social, Facebook-like feel for handling tasks which makes it very approachable. The standout part is the design as it is minimal, attractive thoughtful and clearly built around goals.
Cons
The biggest downside is the pricing especially once you're managing a larger team since it can become one of the most expensive options out there. After using it for years, I still prefer the older version. Over time, it has started to feel more like the heavier, feature packed platforms it used to stand apart from.

“Handy for event task tracking”
Pros
This software does not take much effort and it's pretty easy to see what you are working on and how everything is being tracked. It works especially well for events or projects that follow a checklist or shopping list style workflow.
Cons
One downside is the lack of Gantt charts. Also, the different layout options often feel like they're picked more for personal preference than actual function and it's not as strong for project management when timelines or end dates aren't clearly defined.

“Flexible workspaces on the go”
Pros
One thing that works really well in Asana is being able to keep multiple workspaces, like one for my job and another for personal tasks. The mobile app is also very handy since it lets me manage projects right from my phone.
Cons
The most frustrating part is how completed tasks disappear once they're marked done. After that, you can't go back and access a task that has already been completed.

“Highly task tracking that delivers”
Pros
Creating tasks in it is easy and it works really well for assigning work, posting updates, adding comments and keeping track of progress.
Cons

“Central hub for client tasks”
Pros
Running a digital marketing agency means a constant flow of client requests and recurring monthly work and Asana has become the tool we rely on every day to keep all of it organized. It works really well as one central place where the whole team can see what's due, what's in progress and what's happening with each task instead of letting things disappear in long email threads. It has helped prevent plenty of tasks from slipping through the cracks. Over the past year, we've gotten much better at setting it up by client, with dedicated sections inside each one to track different kinds of work like items we're waiting on from the client, monthly recurring tasks and special projects. Having both the desktop version and the mobile app is also a big plus since it makes it convenient to manage work while away from the computer.
Cons
It does a really strong job on the task management side but it would be even better if budgeting and time planning were built in so we wouldn't need separate tools for those areas. It would also be useful to have a clearer way to view overall account or project status. That said there may be a workaround for some of that, like we've managed to do for other needs.

“Fantastic dashboard”
Pros
From project tracking to day to day task management, Asana covers pretty much everything a company needs. The platform is very user friendly and the dashboard, feature set and overall simplicity make it easy to navigate. I also really enjoy the look and feel of the software because it makes reviewing tasks by day, week or month very clear and organized.
Cons
The only small downside is a security feature that can get a bit annoying. Every two weeks, the platform asks you to log in again with your username and password which can be inconvenient even if it's meant to keep the account secure.
