“Team task tracking that delivers”
Pros
Handling the team and keeping urgent tasks organized works really well. Being able to mark items as done is very useful and the email communication helps a lot. I also like sharing files through Google Drive and using it as a backup option.
Cons
One downside is that for shared tasks, intermediate dates do not appear on the calendar which makes it harder to understand the progress of that task. Task reminders also tend to arrive only when they are already close to the deadline.

“Organized projects”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages of this platform is how well it handles different kinds of links and task comments. It also makes it simple to monitor deadlines across ongoing work, thanks to its strong project and program management. Everything stays well organized based on our planning needs and the goals our company is trying to achieve.
Cons
The biggest downside is definitely the reminders since they come up far too often and can make the platform irritating to use. At the same time turning them off leaves our team disconnected from pending tasks so I really wish the reminder frequency could be adjusted instead.

“Practical for small teams”
Pros
While working on a small project I used it and it felt very easy and simple to work with. From a regular user's perspective, it did the job well and was comfortable to use. That said our project lead mentioned that it was missing some of the features a project manager would need.
Cons
On the user side I really didn't run into any issues and everything seemed fine. The only concern came more from the project management side, where it may not cover every requirement or provide all the needed features.

It is user friendly enough that I could set up projects and organize my calendar right away.

I haven't run into any downsides yet. I've been really happy with the different ways it lets me schedule, review and coordinate my tasks.

“Powerful projects”
Pros
Projects, task management features and timelines/boards have all been really good and work well for what I need.
Cons
Pretty much everything has been good overall. I haven't used another similar tool so I can't really make any comparisons.

“Powerful project control”
Pros
Keeping projects and team members organized is much more manageable with this tool. It lets you assign tasks to each person and set clear deadlines for everything that needs to be done.
Cons
When the project is very simple, this platform may not be the best fit. It can feel too extensive for short-term or less complex work.

“Simple admin”
Pros
The interface is user friendly and even better than that is how simple the administration side is especially when it comes to provisioning users and assigning roles.
Cons
Up until recently it didn't work with our videoconferencing software and we also weren't able to upload or convert existing project plans like those from MS Project.

“Easy teamwork”
Pros
It is very user friendly both in terms of UX/UI and the initial setup. It made it simple to assign tasks to my team and work together with vendors on projects which ended up saving me a lot of valuable time.
Cons
At the same time it comes with a lot of features that I never ended up using or really figuring out how to fit into my workflow. If there had been a user training program with practical tips on how to get the most out of the platform, I definitely would have explored the product more deeply.

“Better team alignment”
Pros
Running a fast growing small business started to feel chaotic for our small team and we were getting overwhelmed and disorganized. A lot of the time, it seemed like we were working against each other instead of staying aligned. After looking around for a good solution, this has been a really positive fit for us.
Cons
We're still early in the process and currently using the free trial. That said the only real criticism I have is the overall look of the interface. It feels a little too plain for my taste though that's clearly just a personal preference.

“Remote teamwork made clear”
Pros
Asana does a really good job of bringing remote teams together and keeping everyone aligned on deadlines, tasks and ownership. Being able to see what each person is working on, how fast things are moving and when everything is due is something I really appreciate.
Cons
At first glance the interface can feel a bit visually overwhelming for new users. Once they spend some time in it though, it becomes simple to set up and navigate.

“Versatile project tracking”
Pros
Right from the start the interface seems clean and user friendly without losing any of the functionality. It works just as well for simple task management as it does for handling full project tracking which makes it really flexible.
Cons
One downside is that the Pro plan feels a little expensive especially for anyone who has to deal with converting US dollars into Brazilian reais.

“Reliable team collaboration hub”
Pros
Keeping a team aligned and on schedule is a lot easier with Asana. It really delivers when it comes to collaboration, with real-time updates and a clear view of both the overall project timeline and the day to day tasks that need attention.
Cons
At times entering all the specific tasks we needed to complete felt a bit difficult. There were moments when it seemed faster to just do the work directly instead of spending time adding everything into the system.

“Reliable tracking”
Pros
One thing that really works well in Asana is its calendar and task monitoring setup. It also offers several layout options which makes it easier to adapt the platform to different types of projects and programs.
Cons
A couple of areas could still be better in it especially the information tracking section and the way calendar tasks are printed.

“Easy task tracking win”
Pros
It offers several views and has a very user friendly setup. Creating tasks and subtasks is also easy and it helps keep the bigger picture visible. Being able to add due dates and assign work to specific team members is also really useful.
Cons
The only issue our team runs into with it is that we sometimes create too many projects or boards and then everything starts to feel a bit overwhelming to sort through.

“Clear project visibility”
Pros
The interface is simple and it gives excellent visibility across projects. The task timeline is really helpful and assigning work and communicating between departments is very convenient.
Cons
The part I like least is how many small features are scattered throughout the platform. There's just a lot to learn and at times it feels quicker to put tasks on my calendar and move on.

“Helpful task tracking daily”
Pros
Keeping up with day to day work is really easy with this tool and it makes a big difference when it comes to tracking tasks. There's something genuinely satisfying about checking assignments off right after they're completed. It's also useful for managers because they can review everyone's tasks and see how things are progressing by the end of the day. Even the free version comes with the core project management features you actually need.
Cons
For a smaller team it didn't initially feel like the best fit since the price was a bit higher than some competing tools. Still, once our business grew, we were glad we had stuck with it. Adapting just required changing a few small habits along the way.

“Reliable task management”
Pros
Across several years of using it in marketing roles and rolling it out across my teams, it's consistently been a tool I enjoy working with. The interface has a clean look, it's easy to use and it does a really good job with task management and keeping work organized efficiently.
Cons
I'd welcome a few more distinctive and advanced features but aside from that, I really don't have any complaints.

“Powerful features for any team”
Pros
Asana packs in an impressive number of features and it works just as well for a small team of 10 as it does for a much larger team of 1,000. There are plenty of ways to view and manage projects and it makes working together a whole lot easier.
Cons
Getting started does take quite a bit of time. Some features feel easy to use Right away but others take a while to fully understand and figure out. Even now I do not think we are using everything it offers simply because there is so much included.

“Better suited for large teams”
Pros
This is a really good product for large companies but not as much for mid-sized businesses like ours. Our requirements are pretty limited so we do not need that much from it.
Cons
A lot of the features are not very relevant to our needs and support can take a while when we raise an issue and wait for it to be resolved.
