“Highly clean design”
Pros
Right away the design felt clean and the platform was simple to use. It has all the features you really need to get a project up and running without feeling overloaded.
Cons
The freemium setup is the part I liked least. The free plan could be more complete and it often feels like you're constantly being pushed toward the premium version.

“Clear task planning”
Pros
It lets you organize tasks and subtasks while also adding details about what each one means. It's a simple tool that helps keep goals clear and easier to work toward.
Cons
Um at first it can feel a little confusing and may seem hard to use but after spending some time with it, it becomes much easier to manage.

“Very helpful subtasks”
Pros
Being able to add subtasks and attach files directly within a task in the newer versions of the app, without having to jump to another page, makes the workflow much more convenient.
Cons
At the same time there's still a cap on how much information can be attached or reviewed inside the app. Because of that, teams end up relying on other tools for decision-making especially ones that also support two-level task structures which pulls them away from it. It becomes difficult to keep a remote team aligned when they have to switch between two different project management platforms just to get their work done.

“Beautiful task management flow”
Pros
It is one of the most beautiful and user friendly project management platforms out there. Sharing tasks and project details with the team is very easy and it really helps keep everyone aligned. It also makes staying focused on work much easier throughout the day.
Cons
Pricing runs a bit high especially for smaller teams, compared with similar platforms. The email notifications can also get a little annoying after a while.

“Beautiful project management upgrade”
Pros
Asana felt like one of the best-looking team and project management tools I have worked with and honestly that matters more than it probably should. If you already know Trello, this feels like a real step up especially when it comes to features and overall performance. Creating cards is incredibly quick and updating them afterward makes my workflow much easier to manage. The reporting is also far better presented than in most of the other tools I have used before.
Cons
Overall it's an excellent product. If I had to call out one weak spot, it would be the formatting options and the card editor. You can work with links and rich text but that part doesn't feel as good as the rest of the platform. It's definitely not a deal-breaker though it does stand out a bit compared with how strong the software is everywhere else.

“Cannot work without asana”
Pros
For at least five years now, it has been where I keep absolutely every task, both personal and business. I rely on it so much that I'd honestly feel lost without it. It helps me stay organized, keeps important things from slipping through the cracks and keeps my business on track.
Cons
none. I have got it set up exactly how I want and I absolutely love using it.

“Fantastic for team collaboration”
Pros
Our team has been using it to work together. It works well on both desktop and mobile which makes it convenient to access whenever we need it.
Cons
This isn't really a problem with the software itself but getting people outside our small team to adopt it and actually use it was a challenge.

“Powerful team project management”
Pros
It's a powerful and adaptable platform for handling complicated projects across multiple teams.
Cons
Customer support takes far too long to get back to you and when they do, the help usually doesn't address what you actually need. The pricing is also unreasonable because you end up paying for unused accounts. They make you buy seats in blocks of five so if your team has 11 people, you're stuck paying for 4 extra seats you cannot even use. And to save you the 3-4 days it takes to hear back on a support ticket, they'll just tell you there's no workaround anyway. I'll probably leave this software as soon as I get the opportunity. It makes no sense to advertise pricing per user when you cannot actually grow or shrink your team on a true per-user basis. Companies don't hire and let people go in groups of five so this pricing model feels completely out of touch.

“Manuscript planning everywhere”
Pros
This tool has become part of my daily routine because it helps me organize my thoughts while I am working through my manuscripts. I can jump into it from whatever device I am using at the time which makes it even more useful.

“Clean layout”
Pros
Everything felt well structured and visually appealing and I really liked how organized the whole platform was.
Cons
The biggest issue for me was the speed. Both the app and the website were slow enough that I stopped using them for a while although I assumed that would improve over time so I have just been waiting.

“Projects stay organized anywhere”
Pros
Keeping projects on schedule is much simpler with Asana. It works well on the go so I can assign tasks and set deadlines right from my phone whenever needed. Compared with other platforms, it also includes a wider range of useful free features.
Cons
One thing that could make it even better would be more open integrations with other tools, such as adding Google Paper for team brainstorming directly within project workspaces.

“Clear team priorities”
Pros
Asana keeps our team organized at a high level really well. No matter where each person is working from, it's always clear what the priorities are and who owns each task.
Cons
Reordering tasks can take a little time to get used to but the option to assign priority levels is really helpful.

“Easy setup”
Pros
I worked with a colleague who used it because that was the platform his company relied on. Getting started felt user friendly and I was up and running pretty quickly. It also integrates well with the other apps already in use.
Cons
There are plenty of project management tools out there and if I had the option to choose freely, this probably wouldn't be the first one I'd pick.

“Task tracking that really delivers”
Pros
Compared with other tools, this one seems far more convenient. Tasks can be defined clearly and, when the setup is done properly, it gives you good oversight of the work. It felt a little unusual At first but it has become essential for every team here that uses it.
Cons
The limitation is that tasks can only be marked as completed. If you're adapting the software for a more specific or restricted workflow, that setup may not work very well. It would be much better to have a range of task statuses available, similar to expandable status options.

“Handy task tracking overall”
Pros
Keeping up with my day to day work has been much more manageable with Asana since the interface is quite simple to use. There's something really satisfying about checking off tasks as soon as I complete them. It's also useful for managers because they can review everyone's assignments and see how things are going by the end of the day. Even the free version already includes the core task management features I need although I'd definitely consider upgrading to premium later on.
Cons
I do wish the free version included more features especially things like deeper insights and trend tracking. That said the general overview of my work is still decent enough for now.

“packed with amazing features”
Pros
It packs in a ton of functionality and it honestly seems flexible enough to fit just about any type of business. The platform is fun to use, visually appealing, colorful and modern. It also integrates with plenty of other tools so the integrations are a big plus.
Cons
At the same time there can almost be too many features available all at once and there is not always enough guidance on the best way to use everything. I would really appreciate more built-in templates, along with a few basic walkthrough videos that cover the A-B-Cs of getting started and using the tools effectively.

“Clean task views for teams”
Pros
The simple layout of the task lists is one of the best parts and sharing them with the rest of the team works really well. I also appreciate having multiple viewing options depending on how I want to look at the work.
Cons
I'd just like a more smooth connection with the calendar app. Beyond that, there really isn't much missing especially at this price point.

“Fantastic for remote teamwork”
Pros
Across our remote company, we rely on it to share tasks, to-dos and completed work. It's a really effective way to keep everyone aligned, assign responsibilities and delegate work clearly.
Cons
Searching and keeping track of things can be difficult. Since we use it across every department and manage multiple boards, I wish it were simpler to search through boards and quickly find exactly what you need.
