“powerful planning and team visibility”
Pros
Keeping up with tasks and checking on the team is very easy. The Timeline feature makes project schedules much clearer and the due date settings are detailed enough to be really useful. It also helps that the free plan covers up to 15 people. On the paid side a plan with 5 full members can still be used with up to 100 people since only full members count as paid users. Guests are still able to create and assign tasks within the team which adds a lot of flexibility.
Cons
The mobile notifications have not been working reliably. It would also be much better if the platform included a chat room and direct messaging between team members. Another limitation is that each task can only have one person responsible for it so if the same task needs to be assigned to several people, it has to be duplicated and then updates cannot be made to all copies at the same time.

“helpful workflow tracking integrations”
Pros
One thing that really works well is the integration with other platforms, like Instagantt which makes it much easier to follow workflows and assign projects in the right way.
Cons
A downside is that each task can only be assigned to one person so it often leads to creating a lot of duplicate tasks.

“perfect fit for team collaboration”
Pros
Any company that works with teams should be pointing their people toward this software. I'd absolutely recommend businesses encourage their teams to use it.
Cons
I don't have anything negative to say about this software. Other than that I'd still recommend it to every business.

“fantastic planning and team visibility”
Pros
Keeping work organized is where this tool really shines. It lets you plan and structure tasks in a way that feels comfortable for both you and your team which makes it much easier to stay on top of deadlines. The visual project plans are especially useful because they show how every step is assigned over time. You can set priorities and due dates, share details and assign tasks all in one place which makes the whole process very practical for moving projects forward. It also helps a lot with spotting risks and removing obstacles by using custom fields to track the information that matters most to your team or company. Even when plans change, it still supports progress by showing reports on how work is moving at each stage. You can share results with the team, see what is on track and quickly notice what needs attention. It keeps everyone aligned with goals and gives a clear picture of how work is evolving. The timeline view is another strong feature because it shows how the full project fits together and helps you keep everything under control as things shift. On top of that the calendar view helps with time management by making it simple to spot gaps or overlaps in the schedule and adjust things quickly. I also appreciate being able to turn recurring processes into templates for the whole team to use and the privacy options are useful for sharing information only with the right people and creating a secure space for sensitive projects.
Cons
There are still a few areas that could be better. Some of the help articles could use improvement although that is something that can be refined over time. The team calendar can feel a bit limiting when organizing projects but it seems like something that will likely continue improving. One thing I would really value is the option to assign two people to the same task more naturally since having backup matters when someone is absent. At the moment, calendars also cannot be combined and that would be a helpful addition. Better integration with Outlook or Gmail would also make a difference especially if sending email tasks into the platform were more convenient. The creation of new section headings for tasks and lists could be improved as well. I think there is also room to make more parts of the interface customizable. Not being able to personalize backgrounds is a minor issue and not especially important but it is still something that could be added.

“Available at a great price”
Pros
Getting our internal workflows organized became much simpler with Asana. It gives us the tools we need to monitor progress and keep every project moving so deadlines are met. We tested a few other platforms but we kept returning to this one because it offers the most complete set of features while still being very competitively priced.
Cons
Nothing major comes to mind. Very occasionally, the system slows down a bit but those issues are resolved quickly and the website lets you check the system's health status which is really helpful.

“well designed tool”
Pros
The interface looks professional and the hierarchical sub-task setup makes organizing work much more practical. Team communication is also handled really well which helps everyone stay aligned. On top of that the Gantt chart is thoughtfully designed and the pricing feels cost-effective for what it offers.
Cons
The only downside that comes to mind is the lack of tighter control over task ownership. Since anyone can assign tasks to anyone else and also mark them as closed, it can create issues with accountability. It would make more sense if only the project manager could close a task after confirming that the work was actually completed correctly.

“stylish team project hub”
Pros
Its interface looks good and it includes pretty much all the features you'd expect in a project management platform that the whole team can work from.
Cons
Getting around it can be confusing At times and there's definitely a learning curve to understanding how everything works. It's worth setting aside time early on to learn how to organize and manage your projects and tasks before it becomes a problem.

“organized projects and recurring tasks”
Pros
Staying organized is much easier with this tool. Setting up new projects and tasks is simple and it helps keep everything in one place. Also I know it has features for tracking an entire team which is really useful. Being able to create recurring tasks and add due dates is another big plus.
Cons
One thing that would make it even better is the option to assign the same task to more than one person. Aside from that it runs really well and has definitely helped me stay more organized.

“deadline tracking that delivers”
Pros
Once I spent some time getting familiar with the interface, using it to track our work and stay on top of deadlines felt very easy. Also it is really convenient to use on a mobile phone when I'm away from my desk.
Cons
When a lot of projects are running At the same time it can still get a bit confusing to navigate. Every now and then there are a few issues although the support team usually resolves them pretty quickly.

“perfect for project planning”
Pros
Over the past six months, I've been using this for a new project to launch a co-working space and it's been absolutely perfect. It includes everything needed to keep a project organized, whether it's something small or a much bigger undertaking.
Cons
It could be a bit more user friendly for people who aren't very comfortable with computers but once you understand how it works, it becomes really simple to use.

“flexible projects and rich features”
Pros
The interface looks excellent and each project comes with a lot of useful options. You can set up tasks and subtasks, add deadlines, upload files, assign responsibility to specific people and more. It's flexible enough to fit just about any kind of project.
Cons
At times it feels a bit overwhelming and I've gotten lost in it more than once. It can seem too extensive and I sometimes miss parts of the communication with coworkers. You really have to pay close attention to everything so you don't get confused by the number of options.

“flexible projects and private tasks”
Pros
Setting up projects in Asana works really well especially when assigning tasks to multiple people. It's also useful for creating recurring tasks and I appreciate being able to set up personal projects that stay private and aren't visible to anyone else.
Cons
The Flock integration feels pretty limited right now. It would also help a lot to have an option to combine similar projects and I'm not a fan of the weekly upgrade emails that keep coming with the current plan.

“powerful features for busy teams”
Pros
It is modern and packed with functionality. Being able to belong to multiple separate teams is a huge advantage especially when coordinating different projects with outside vendors at the same time. The free plan already includes plenty of useful tools and will cover the needs of most teams but upgrading really boosts productivity by opening up extras like custom fields.
Cons
There honestly isn't much to complain about with this software. If I had to point out one downside, it's that the number of features can feel a little overwhelming at first. New users especially those who are less confident with new tools or slower to adapt, may find it somewhat intimidating.

“helpful training and teamwork”
Pros
One thing that really helps with Asana is the training videos that walk you through how to use the program. It also makes collaborating on projects with people across the country very convenient. On top of that there are a few different layout and style options depending on what you need and setting up separate teams for different types of work is very useful.
Cons
The training videos are definitely useful to have as a reference but if your schedule is already packed and you do not have time to sit through several of them, learning the program can start to feel a little tedious.
