It has been an excellent project management and collaboration tool especially when working with an interdisciplinary team that also includes people outside the organization.

I really don't have any complaints about it though the process of duplicating projects could maybe be made a little simpler.

I find it easy to use and it did a really good job of keeping my team organized and on schedule with our projects.

One limitation is that each task can only be assigned to one person at a time.

It doesn't offer advanced features for resource management or time tracking.

Keeping track of even the smallest parts of a project feels much more manageable with Asana and working with a team is a lot more organized. Having all attachments uploaded in one place is a big help and being able to comment or assign a task while knowing the person already has everything they need right there makes the process much better. My team also relies on forms to support our workflow with other departments in the organization and that has made a huge difference. I'd absolutely recommend it to teams that work remotely or aren't in the same office together.

I do wish there were a way to search all documents from one central place.

The tool is simple and the customization options are a big plus. The task management features work really well and make it a great tool to use.

Nothing major has come up for me. If I had to point out one thing, the mobile app could use a little improvement.

Getting started with it doesn't take much effort so pretty much anyone can begin using it right away yet it still has enough depth to organize projects and workflows in a way that genuinely saves time and boosts productivity.

Using it as a freelancer across several clients, managing and setting up multiple workspaces can be a bit complicated.

Being able to tailor workflows around my team's process is a huge plus, whether we're handling a large project with lots of moving pieces or simply keeping up with smaller tasks. Custom fields and different views let us arrange information in a way that actually works for us which makes everything more organized, more efficient and a lot less confusing.

One thing that could still be better is the fairly steep learning curve.

Project views are clear and the setup is quick. For simple project management tasks, it works really well and does exactly what's needed.

Customization feels too limited and there's no built-in time tracking. Integrations with time-tracking apps are also restricted and the price feels high for the features you actually get.

Working with a team in this tool is very easy. Switching between calendar, timeline and board views is also quick and hassle free for everyone.

There seem to be almost endless ways to use it and our whole team relies on it for all kinds of different needs. It really helps with collaboration and makes it simple to stay on top of tasks and projects.

There's definitely a major learning curve and it's pretty easy to set up projects and rules incorrectly if you're not already familiar with how the software works.

It is easy to use and the built-in features made implementation much simpler than the software we used before. Also it is reasonably priced and the whole team has picked it up well.

There are a few quirks around automation ownership. I wish automations were tied to the project instead of an individual user so they could keep running independently. I'd also like to see rules and automations available at the portfolio level.

Out of all the project management tools I have used, this one has been the best by far. It works just as well for simple projects as it does for more detailed, in-depth ones and the feature set is really strong.

It doesn't take much time to get started but there's still a bit of a learning curve when it comes to building more complex, in-depth projects.

Right away the task layout looks reliable and well organized. Also it is very helpful to separate everything by project, team and category within each group.

One thing that's missing is pop-up reminder notifications like Outlook has. Since reminders only come through email, they can easily get buried among less important messages so you really have to stay on top of your inbox and keep yourself organized.

Being able to split tasks across different departments and then break them down further with subtasks inside each team was something I really appreciated.

I have used both this and ClickUp and this one felt like it had a weaker interface and wasn't as user friendly or quick to pick up.

Passing tasks over to other team members is really simple which makes collaboration much easier.

One thing I don't like is not having a single place where I can view everything I have been tagged in.

Sharing projects in this tool is really easy and one of the features I like most is being able to use a template and apply it to any project.

The downside is the restrictions that come with being an invitee on a team account.
