“Collaboration that really clicks”

Pros

Back in a previous role this tool was especially useful for collaboration and it was very easy to use day to day.

Cons

The part I liked least was using it while working at a startup in New York.

Pros

Being able to duplicate recurring tasks and break work into subtasks is really useful.

Cons

Task conversations can be a bit hard to follow. I wish they were more user friendly.

Pros

Setting up client projects in Asana works really well because I can organize them exactly the way I need.

Cons

It does take a little time at first to figure out how to set everything up.

Day to day it keeps me organized and on track. The product is simple to use, the interface feels user friendly and I absolutely love it. It has honestly been a lifesaver for me.

Cons

There's still a lot in the platform that I don't know how to use yet so I could really benefit from more training.

The interface felt modern and attractive and the platform was very user friendly overall. It worked really well for creating project management tasks and was effective in supporting my Agile team. I also appreciated how it could integrate with several of the other administrative tools I use. On top of that the software has been dependable and whenever I needed help, the support team responded quickly and efficiently.

Cons

One downside I ran into was the lack of phone support. There are definitely moments when you just want to talk to a real person and that was a major drawback for me. Also, while some of the features are nice to have, they can feel a bit overwhelming for a new project manager. It also becomes somewhat challenging to use when I am handling larger projects.

I don't have any complaints. It's a wonderful tool.

Asana has been fantastic for staying organized and keeping everything in my life on track. Our whole marketing agency runs through it and it makes it really simple to monitor my team and stay on top of what everyone is doing.

I'd still like a bit more flexibility to customize both the appearance and some of the functionality but overall it handles everything I need it to do.

“Favorite project management pick”

Pros

Out of the five project management tools I use with different clients, this one is by far my favorite. It's incredibly simple to work with, is the most user friendly and overall it's the easiest platform for me to use.

Cons

I really don't have any major complaints. The only thing that might make it even better is being able to keep everything for multiple clients under one account although switching back and forth is still pretty manageable.

It does a really good job of keeping track of every task tied to a project even when our team is spread across different departments and locations.

Cons

I'd just prefer the templates to be placed somewhere more accessible and user friendly.

Exporting information for people who don't use the platform isn't very convenient and turning project plans into visuals isn't as easy as it should be.

Keeping up with multiple projects at the same time feels really manageable with Asana. It does a nice job of helping me stay on top of everything I have going on in one place.

Getting the hang of how to use it the right way can take a little effort at the beginning.

It really seems built with large teams in mind and it includes a wide range of features that are genuinely useful. The ability to reassign tasks, leave comments on cards, create personal tasks and get email notifications has been especially helpful.

Cons

At the beginning it felt a bit overwhelming to navigate and figure out how everything worked.

It has been fantastic for keeping projects organized and on track. It does a really good job of bringing tasks, timelines and team coordination into one place.

The only downside is that the automation features can be hard to work with and some of the more useful options are locked behind paid plans.

Asana has become my go-to for project management. The interface feels modern and well-designed which makes it enjoyable to use.

One downside is that it isn't the most budget-friendly project management option out there.

The pricing can be a little high for smaller teams and the free version leaves some features feeling a bit limited.

It is very user friendly and it doesn't take long to learn especially once you land on the task view that fits your style. I usually work in the Calendar and Gantt views but there are enough options that different team members can use what works best for them. It also serves as a reliable system of record for projects. The whole team can stay aligned on overall progress while still digging into the details and being able to add hyperlinks and attach documents to tasks keeps everything together in one place which is invaluable when managing larger projects.

Cons

There really isn't anything I dislike about it but I have worked in different tiers over the years and the one I am using now doesn't include project status updates. That's a feature I definitely miss.

“Useful tool overall”

Pros

After trying a lot of project management tools, this is the only one I have come across that includes everything I need and its interface is the easiest to use.

Cons

I do wish it offered more third-party integrations though we were able to cover that gap by using API services.

Pros

Planning, tracking and managing projects and tasks all in one place feels effortless with Asana. The collaboration features are another big plus and make teamwork much better.

Cons

Well I haven't run into any issues with it even after using it for more than six years.
