“useful gmail notifications”

It is easy to use and the Gmail notifications were especially helpful. It definitely felt useful for staying on top of things.

Cons

I didn't run into any real downsides. I only used it during the free trial but throughout that time it was easy to use and served its purpose well.

Custom fields are a big advantage since they let me track details and progress in a way that matches how I work. The drag-and-drop layout and color options also make it much simpler to find exactly what I need.

Cons

If you need more advanced data analysis and reporting, you may still have to connect it with external reporting tools.

It's very easy to use, the layout is clear and navigating around the platform is user friendly. The task tracking features are also really useful and well thought out.

One thing I don't love is that a task can only be assigned to one person at a time.

Just having a tool like this available is a huge win. Being able to share statuses, effort levels and every step in a process across departments without constantly needing direct back-and-forth communication is incredibly valuable. The option to create templates for processes and tasks makes it even better.

Cons

The thing I'd still love to see is a simpler way to template sections. There may already be a method for doing it but if so, it isn't obvious to me.

Asana is very user friendly overall and the search functionality works really well. It's especially useful when collaborating across different departments and keeping everyone aligned.

Cons

One downside is that the project plans aren't customer-facing which can be limiting. There are also far too many notifications and the customization options feel lacking.

Using it with a team is really fun and easy, plus the paid version adds a lot of worthwhile features.

it has a really modern UI and UX and it's nice being able to sort all my tasks into projects and color-code everything to keep it organized.

The free plan feels a bit limited for solo business owners. I'd consider upgrading once I grow and have more team members but right now the free version is what I have to work with. Having access to a few basic automations and project templates at this level would make it much more helpful.

Pros

Switching away from spreadsheets has been a huge improvement. It gives me a really great platform that integrates well with my other productivity tools and keeps all of my project updates together in one place.

Cons

There's definitely a bit of a learning curve at the beginning and navigation can feel confusing at first. Once it clicks though, it becomes very simple to use.

It gives us better visibility into our team. Also the workflows are visual and easy to use and the task management system works very efficiently.

It's a little more expensive than some other options out there but it's still worth trying.

The thing that can get confusing is receiving task notifications from the whole group even for items that don't need any input from me.

During my internship I relied on it a lot and never really ran into a missing feature. It did an excellent job of keeping tasks and projects organized across our team.

One thing that bothered me was that changing the layout on a shared board updated it for everyone on the team. It would be much better if there were a personal view option so only my own layout changed.

Pros

I recently started using it for an SAP implementation project and it only took about an hour of hands-on training to get comfortable with it. Plus it does a really good job of keeping all my project tasks organized and makes sharing updates with other teams very easy.

Cons

Nothing to complain about at this point. The usability and task-tracking features have been excellent so far.

Pros

It is pretty easy to use and I didn't need any formal training or outside help. It lets me add tasks, track what's completed versus still pending and share everything with my team.

Cons

The limitation for me was the lack of customization. I couldn't color-code items the way I wanted or use different fonts which are things I am able to do in an Excel sheet.
