Great way to stay organized

Pros

The task management features are very functional. I particularly like the option to create multiple lists with various sub divisions to organize my tasks well.

Asana is great for teams not using Teams

Pros

Asana allows teams to collaborate on projects and schedule tasks with deadlines much like Microsoft Planner.

Cons

The Asana dashboard feels a bit underwhelming, but you will get used to it with time.

Asana Software Review

Pros

I like how Asana excellently manages projects through streamlined task assignments, real-time updates and improved team communication and collaboration.

Cons

I don't like that there is no option to send bulk updates for project notifications and rules. It would be great to have the option to create rules for automatically distributing workloads across projects and tasks. While I understand this might add complexity, having the option to test such features would be highly appreciated.

Asana should be included in your tech stack

Pros

We've been using Asana for about a year, and I can confidently say it has significantly helped our team with task and project management. It provides a clear overview of which projects are urgent and need our immediate attention.

Cons

I do not have any real complaints. It worked well for our team.

A fabulous software we cannot live without

Pros

The clarity and ease of adding tasks are impressive. The app works exceptionally well on the go, with features like task-specific additions, easy scheduling and assignment. I also love the view settings, Kanban boards, Gantt charts and goal setting options. It is highly intuitive and we love using it.

Cons

Setting up the workflow can be tricky if you're not already skilled in that area. It would also be useful to download Gantt charts and calendars to share with people who are not on our Asana platform. Despite this, the support is excellent, the education provided is top-notch and we really like it.

I love Asana but they are running an unethical money grab

Pros

I love Asana because it is easy to use and everyone can understand it.

Cons

I have been using Asana for a while now with my five employees, but now that I want to add a sixth, I have to pay for 10 seats. This feels like a major money grab to me.

The best project management software out there

Pros

I like its functionality. Also it is pretty easy to understand, navigate and customize. I love being able to build projects tailored to specific job responsibilities, keeping all my tasks and workflows in one place. The onboarding process for new users is excellent and I enjoy automating my processes with rules and workflow management.

Cons

I do not have any complaints about the product itself, but I have had difficulty reaching customer service at times.

Robust at the free level. Scratches all the PM itches.

Pros

The free version allows seamless communication and helps us meet deadlines as a team. I also the Templates feature, which speeds up project setup while still allowing customization. Being able to switch between Kanban, list and calendar views is incredibly helpful. It allows us to examine projects from different perspectives at various stages of their life cycle.

Cons

Archiving projects in Asana isn't intuitive, which makes it difficult to retrieve information from legacy clients or perform simple cleanup tasks when using the program over multiple years. This is something that is likely to happen.
