Good product

Pros

Asana is particularly useful for remote collaboration allowing teams to easily manage deadlines and tasks.

Cons

Some features are difficult to understand especially as an external collaborator. It's challenging to know what to do with pending tasks or updates without proper guidance. Additionally receiving multiple email notifications for minor changes in tasks delivery dates or team members involved can be overwhelming.

Works well when everyone uses it

Pros

Asana offers great collaboration tools with flexibility functionality and an intuitive interface.

Cons

Asana is most impactful when the majority of the people I work with also use it. It loses value as a personal task manager and collaboration tool if not widely adopted by the team.

Asana review

Pros

One aspect of Asana that I truly value is its continuous improvement and responsiveness. Asana consistently introduces new features to enhance its product and promptly addresses any issues that arise. What impresses me the most is the vibrant and supportive community in the Asana Community Forum. The forum is filled with wonderful individuals who willingly offer assistance and guidance in resolving various challenges. This collaborative environment adds immense value to the overall Asana experience.

Cons

I believe there is room for expanding the organization of teams and projects in Asana. Having the ability to create sub-teams sub-projects and sub-sections would be fantastic. Furthermore Asana should allow end users with the same company domain to be designated as "guests" as the current limitation has drawbacks for those who need it.

An OK Project Management Program

Pros

The free version of Asana offers a good range of general management and task allocation features.

Cons

I had a few issues with Asana: - Upgrading to access intermediate-level project management features required a paid version which was frustrating considering the relatively high prices compared to other software options. - The setup within the dashboard was not intuitive and I often found myself searching for basic functions. There are other software solutions available that offer a more user-friendly and intuitive experience.

Asana - our go to project mangement tool

Pros

Asana boasts a high level of user-friendliness once you become familiar with it. It offers excellent transparency and oversight for all projects actions and activities within our team. The software is highly customizable allowing us to set up boards in creative ways beyond the scope of projects and tasks. For instance we have utilized it for an Aggregated project timeline and a People board where team members can update and share personal information. This versatility makes Asana a valuable tool that adapts to our unique needs.

Cons

I can't think of much to dislike about Asana. For users new to project management apps it may take a little time to get used to it.
