Everything in it is easy to locate, use and explain to the rest of the team. Having communication, tasks, files and more all together in one place is really helpful. It makes it much simpler to stay organized, keep projects moving and make sure nothing falls behind.

Cons

It works well because it keeps things pretty simple. That said in certain cases it may feel a bit limited if you need more customized workflows or detailed reporting.

Keeping my freelance projects organized is a lot simpler with this. Everything stays in one place, the workspace never seems cluttered and the design is incredibly easy to use.

As a solo freelancer, there honestly isn't much here to complain about. The only thing I'd really like to see added is more advanced task functionality, such as dependencies.

Back in my early career, it was one of the tools that really helped me handle project collaboration better. I have used it for quite a long time and it proved very useful for sharing files, staying in touch with the team and keeping up with updates.

The visual side of it is a little confusing and getting used to the navigation at the beginning was not very user friendly. The update notifications work well but they can be somewhat distracting at times. It would also be better if there were more flexibility in choosing notification options.

Working with teammates is really easy in this tool. It doesn't overload you with template customization options and that actually helps keep everything simpler and easier to manage.

You do need to stay on top of board access for everyone involved. At times it's easy to overlook who still needs to be added.

I must say it has been a really good tool for keeping our whole team organized. We have around 20 people juggling a lot of projects and this app does a very good job of helping us keep everything managed and on track.

My only real complaint is the interface. It feels a little plain and could definitely use an update so it doesn't seem outdated next to other competing tools.

It did a really good job of bringing project conversations, files and tasks together in one place which cut down a lot on scattered emails and random messages. The interface also felt simple and user friendly so the whole team was able to start using it without needing much training.

That said the task management side felt a little too basic for more complex project workflows especially when compared with tools like Asana or Jira.

Basecamp has been excellent for sharing files, managing organization and keeping everything well arranged. It's user friendly and the customer support is outstanding as well.

Well it makes it simple to schedule shifts and claim the ones management posts. It gives everyone a flexible system they can access.

At times there's a delay when shifts are being picked up which can accidentally result in more than one person claiming the same shift.

Basecamp keeps team collaboration simple and the file-sharing setup is clean and practical. For a small insurance team, it helps us get client files uploaded quickly and shared with brokers without wasting time which makes the whole process feel very efficient.

There are times when shared threads lag a bit and attaching files to those conversations doesn't always work perfectly. Support can also take longer to respond than expected especially during busy insurance renewal periods.

Getting new people up to speed in it has been fairly user friendly for our team. It brings communication into one place with message boards, chat and automatic check-ins, all tied to dedicated project spaces. It also helps keep work organized because tasks, files and discussions stay within the context of each project which cuts down on email and the need to bounce between other project management tools.

A few limitations have come up for us. It is missing some more advanced project management features, such as task dependencies, subtasks and stronger reporting. Customization is also fairly limited and since our workflow includes multiple phases, branching and conditional paths, the platform can feel restrictive. Notifications can become overwhelming with the volume of to-dos we manage and that sometimes causes important alerts to get overlooked. We've also noticed inconsistency between the desktop app notifications and the web version, with the desktop app working better in my case. Another gap is the lack of built-in time tracking which would be helpful since we still need to submit timesheets.

It gives me dedicated spaces to create to-do lists and also upload, store and share files with the rest of the team which is why it works so well for me.

Well the thing I'd still want is the option to turn on a summary of the activity I missed while I was away.

This tool has become a vital part of how our team handles workflows events, communication and other projects. We rely on it every day and it's been a fantastic tool for keeping everything organized and moving forward. The platform is very simple to use and helps lay out practical plans for getting tasks completed.

One feature I really wish it had is better support for shared tasks. When several people are responsible for completing the same item, it would be much more useful if each person could mark their own part as done instead of having to create separate individual tasks for everyone.

Right away I find it user friendly, clean and intentionally structured. There's barely any learning curve so new team members can jump in and start contributing within minutes. It avoids overloaded features like complicated Gantt charts, custom workflows and confusing jargon. Having everything in one place is really what sets it apart.

That same opinionated approach can be limiting for some teams. It expects us to work within its own system and if our process doesn't fit nicely into its six-tool setup, it can feel restrictive. There's also very little room to customize the platform around specific needs.
