“Can't live without Bugherd
Pros
It is a wonderful tool that has made bug tracking on web jobs in my company much smoother. I love that by installing the browser extension, certain pieces of information, including browser info and screen grabs, are automatically logged. I can easily assign teammates, tags, priorities, and more. I can comment directly to people. There is so much to love about this platform.
Cons
The only thing I can think of is that I can't set project-specific notification settings. I can not set just one or a few projects to notify me every time a bug is added; it applies to the whole company's account.

“An essential tool for serious project management
Pros
Having project-based, in-browser centralized tasks in one place makes project management a breeze for me. Also, having comments in one thread related to a single task helps me pinpoint and focus on bug tracking, something other products don't do well. I couldn't bear to go back to email or spreadsheet task lists!
Cons
As my projects grow and I need to add users to different projects, the cost can get expensive. Be aware that the increase from 10 users to 25 or 50 isn't obvious from the outset. Know this in advance so it can be absorbed in your SLA's.

Pros

Pros

Pros
For me, the client experience reigns supreme. I hated getting long emails with website edits. With BugHerd, my website review process and ongoing support have become incredibly efficient. Pros
I love the ability to tie a bug directly to a course page, use the browser extension, get automatic screenshots, have discussions, and the new ability to add/rename swimlanes.
Cons
I would like to be able to group individual courses in Canvas, each with a unique URL, into the same BugHerd project, but currently, I can't. “A no-brainer purchase for any agency or development team
Pros
It removes any ambiguity about bugs and feature requests for me. Being able to annotate a comment directly on a live/staging website is a huge perk and something I now cannot live without.
Cons
The lack of customizable columns in their kanban-style layout is a pity. It is not a deal breaker, but our agency workflow does not follow a 'backlog', 'doing', 'done', 'closed' workflow, and we end up having to have internal discussions about what 'backlog' actually represents in our own workflow. It would be great to rename these columns and have more or fewer of them.

“A Real Game Changer for Web Dev
Pros
BugHerd has been a significant game changer for my team's web development capabilities. While we used to add extensive notes to PDFs and emails for the client, now we can tackle changes and feedback right at the source. The tool is fairly simple to use and makes it easy for our clients to give us their thoughts, shortening our timelines and making deliverables easier to fulfill.
Cons
Since BugHerd is still being refined and updated pretty frequently, there are occasional hiccups. It still has some quirks with multiple website testing instances that tend to cross some wires in the feedback. The ability to add a voice recording or brief screen recording to really lock down feedback would be great. When working with a team in a different area, adding bugs to our site can be interpreted a million different ways, so an easier way to provide specific info would be the next evolution of BugHerd.

Pros
The simplicity of installation and the ability to direct users to click on a feedback tab on our website was awesome for me. Users were able to submit feedback simply, power users with the browser extension could submit more informative feedback with screenshots, and the kanban-style board for managing feedback was SO helpful for prioritizing and tracking bugs and issues.
