“Great for Time and Expense Tracking”
Pros
Users have the convenience of entering time and expenses through the ClickTime App or website, regardless of their location, even while on vacation. Automatic reminders are sent if time entry deadlines are missed, and it seamlessly integrates with QuickBooks Pro, enabling client invoicing and payroll processing.
Cons
Some features, such as expense tracking are not necessary for all employees, but the subscription is an all or nothing package. This should be changed.

“ClickTime Great for Small Business”
Pros
ClickTime is easy to use and navigate. It allows you to set up as many codes as needed, track employees' hours, and keep track of PTO and holidays. Employees can access the program from anywhere, and the customer service is excellent.
Cons
I would prefer the option to customize and remove columns on the timesheet that aren't relevant, without having to export to Excel.

“Easy to use and enables me to do my work not spend all my time running the software”
Pros
ClickTime is incredibly easy to grasp. Setting it up was a breeze, and my employees found it straightforward to use. The software allows them to enter time and expenses accurately, quickly, and effortlessly. It seamlessly integrated with our existing operations, requiring no reconfiguration due to its adaptability.
Cons
One issue is the lack of a plan that covers multiple people for a fixed rate. Furthermore, the monthly subscription per person doesn't suit my operations due to frequently changing staffing levels and the use of per diem employees. The software lacks the ability to automatically track and accumulate compensation time, and the time off module doesn't have suitable accumulation rules. Having the option to create compensation and time off rules based on hours worked or weeks worked would greatly improve the system.

“BioChemical review”
Pros
It's easy to use and serves as a great management tool for following protocols and tracking task completion time. It helps us assess whether we need to hire additional employees.
Cons
It would be great to have a bit more flexibility. Currently, we only have three fields to choose from but sometimes we need to provide more detailed information for a project.

Pros
Running reports is a breeze, and once you find one you'll use again, you can save it to your favorites. Additionally, syncing expenses with QBs saves me an ample amount of time and our company money.
Cons
While the software has some limitations, expressing concerns to the support team results in them working to improve the issues.

“Served Us Well”
Pros
With a diverse client base, we were able to customize ClickTime to accommodate the high volume of daily entries. The reporting capabilities are excellent, and we had ample customization options for our reports. The platform is highly stable, rarely experiencing any downtime over the course of 8+ years.
Cons
We faced difficulties with the mobile app. We have been using Clicktime since 2012, long before the app was released. However, when it finally became available, we found it not very use friendly. We haven't had the opportunity to test the most recent versions as my team primarily works in a desktop environment.

“Great for small companies - user experience and price”
Pros
As a small nonprofit organization tracking paid time off, this software is excellent. It's easy to navigate and run reports, and it's also straightforward for the users.
Cons
It would be great if there was more flexibility in how time is accumulated, as we track vacation time differently than just in hours.

“Great software for timekeeping”
Pros
With multiple grants and funding sources to track, ClickTime allows us to accurately monitor and bill the appropriate accounts. Generating expense reports is a breeze, and I appreciate the ability to attach scanned receipts instead of printing and submitting them. As an admin, it's easy for me to approve timesheets and expense reports and make changes if errors occur.
Cons
Unfortunately, Clicktime doesn't integrate with Quickbooks so we have to manually enter payroll data.

“Solid Option for Small Organization”
Pros
Clicktime provided our non-profit organization, comprising approximately 50 employees, with all the necessary functionalities for program management, payroll hour tracking, and the management of reimbursable business expenses. Navigating the platform was straightforward and intuitive. We frequently utilized their reporting function, particularly for our monthly client reports. Customer support was always accessible, and we could always reach someone on the first call. Clicktime is a comprehensive application that covers all the essentials at an incredibly affordable price.
Cons
I can only recall two aspects that I found slightly less than ideal, but they didn't hinder me from completing my tasks. Firstly, the PTO tracker only allowed monthly accruals, while our payroll schedule is biweekly. It would have been more convenient if I could sync the accrual in Clicktime to match our payroll platform precisely. Secondly, I encountered some issues with XML linking to Excel. It turned out that I needed to use a legacy version of the XML data import function in Excel, but it took a few calls with multiple support representatives before this solution was pointed out to me (though, to be fair, they had mentioned it in one of their help pages, which I had missed).

“Clicktime for multiple clients”
Pros
This software allows me to switch between different clients effortlessly. The option to use either manual timers or clocked timers with notes is beneficial in understanding our company's staff productivity and client profitability. The data captured allows us to generate reports that can be manipulated to analyze our company's performance more effectively.
Cons
I have experienced glitches in the timekeeping system that can occasionally fail to record the time or convert it into a manual entry instead of a timed one. As a result I have to recreate the entry manually, which might compromise the integrity of the data.

“20+ year user!”
Pros
The range of reports I can generate from the data is fantastic. I've been utilizing ClickTime for more than 20 years, and now, with my firm of four people, we use it for all customer billing. It's remarkably user-friendly and highly customizable to suit the specific processes of my interior design and architecture firm. It provides invaluable insights into our time billing and helps inform new project quotes. I absolutely love it.
Cons
I really, really miss the previous version of the desktop app (supported by Silverlight). I used to keep the compact app window open on my desktop screen and track time as the day progressed. Now, the web app requires me to have a website open at all times. Since we use the web for product and project-related searches throughout the day, it forces us to dedicate a separate browser solely for Clicktime. Otherwise, we constantly have to search for the Clicktime screen. I use the Microsoft EDGE browser exclusively for Clicktime and keep it open all day to easily track time for different projects.

“Makes payroll a breeze”
Pros
In the non-profit world, ClickTime has significantly reduced the time spent on processing payroll. Once employees submit their timesheets, everything is accurate from the start. The reports required for our grantors can be generated with just a few clicks, eliminating the need to search through physical timesheets. The electronic signatures fulfill the requirements of our state and federal funders, resulting in less printing and filing. ClickTime's versatility in accommodating multiple funding sources is impressive. Adding or inactivating funders is a straightforward process. Our agency has been using ClickTime since 2009 and wouldn't consider using any other software. The creators continuously improve the software each year, enhancing the reports and overall user experience.
Cons
Due to our pay week ending at 5 p.m. on Fridays instead of midnight, we are unable to accurately determine grant percentages based on time spent for each funder. Clicktime is not configured to align with our pay week structure.

“Non-profit ease of use”
Pros
The app and the ability for our employees to use it remotely have been immensely helpful. It's easy for employees to track time across multiple programs throughout the day.
Cons
Unfortunately, Clicktime hasn't been able to integrate with our other processes. Since we receive grant funding, we are unable to import data into government programs. It would be beneficial if expense sheets could be directly linked to time sheets, allowing us to bill mileage along with travel expenses. Additionally there is a need for expanded reports with expense sheets.
