Cons
Since I consistently work on the same projects, I would like to "pin" them to ensure that they always appear. It's fine to repeat them from last week, but if I take a two-week vacation, the projects are no longer listed even though I'm still working on them.

The time-off feature needs to be modified to make it easier for employees to make changes or cancel requests, even after they have been approved. If a supervisor or admin needs to reject a request, the employee has to start the process again.

I haven't encountered any cons yet with the software. The only thing that comes to mind is my wish to be able to convert the data into an invoice, but that's not significant enough for me to complain. Overall, it's a great software.

The ease of use is exceptional, catering to the intuitive needs of users, managers, and administrators. The selection of standard reports is great, and they are responsive to customization requests. The comprehensive admin functions are not complicated. Although DCAA Compliance may be annoying for staff as it necessitates daily timecard completion, it's an important feature.
Cons
It could be partly our fault rather than a limitation of ClickTime's software but XIA's Founder requires a detailed narrative in Activity Notes, which can be quite lengthy at times. The DCAA Compliance module can be a bit fussy when dealing with long Activity Notes, although we haven't encountered this limitation when entering details on the same day as the time worked.

Since I'm relatively new to the software, there were some reports that I requested and I hope the company will incorporate them in future updates. A specific requirement I have is to pay salaried employees for the hours they actually worked (8+ hours), while billing them for the hours they were scheduled (8 hours). It would be beneficial if I could then reduce the overage as a credit to compensatory time, but the software currently doesn't allow negative amounts, likely for a valid reason.

Two aspects stood out for me. Firstly, the ease with which we could customize the system to align with our business requirements. ClickTime's flexibility allowed us to make changes to the "standard" setup without delaying our integration timeline. Secondly, the user interface is intuitive for everyone who records their time. This facilitated a seamless transition from our previous time/project management tool, and many employees have provided positive feedback regarding the change.
Cons
I believe the feature for setting a minimum hour requirement for a day or week could be improved. Since we operate on a monthly cycle, the hour requirements are defined on a daily basis. For employees with flexible schedules (e.g., someone working 6 hours one day and 10 hours the next), and part-time employees, they received notifications stating their time was incomplete for days where they didn't log the minimum 8 hours. Although it's only a minor inconvenience, it caused some concerns after the initial rollout. Our workaround has been to remove the minimum hour requirement for these individuals. However, having the flexibility to set the hour requirements weekly while still being able to manage them on a monthly cycle would resolve this issue.
