“Easy to Use, yet Flexible”
Pros
Many time tracking solutions are so customizable that they become overly difficult to use. On the other hand, some systems are easy to use but lack customization options. ClickTime strikes a perfect balance between these two extremes. It can be sufficiently customized to match your workflow without being overly convoluted, making it easy to figure out.
Cons
There is nothing I hate about this app. I used to work for a company that provided timesheet solutions but I chose ClickTime because it fulfilled my requirements.

Pros
It offers cost-effective solutions and provides exactly what is needed.
Cons
I wish there was an option to default the time. Our engagements are measured in hours, not days so it would be convenient if the default matched the starting time (AM or PM). Currently it defaults to AM, requiring additional keystrokes.

Pros
Allocating payroll costs among multiple grants is made incredibly simple with ClickTime. This is crucial for us to comply with federal regulations. Cost allocations can be complex, but we've been relying on ClickTime for over a decade.
Cons
I find it quite straightforward to use and I don't have any negatives to mention.

Pros
I'm impressed by how effortlessly this app tracks my worked hours. It can compete with any other app out there! The range of reporting options is extensive and covers all needs.
Cons
I encountered some minor limitations in the billing process when switching from one payee to another, but we were able to work around them. Additionally, I never really liked the plug-in so I would simply adjust the window to my preference every day before work.

I love the ability to generate reports based on projects, tasks, or individuals. The customization and available functions are fantastic. Now we just need to motivate our employees to utilize them!
Cons
PTO is calculated on a monthly basis, which differs from our pay system where it's calculated each pay period.

“Helpful tool, but could be more helpful”
Pros
I appreciate that my employees can easily allocate their time to program and grant-related activities. As an administrator, the time-off module is a great asset for tracking vacation requests and automatically sending them to supervisors, reducing time and paper waste. The vacation accrual feature is also helpful, as employees can check their balance anytime without constantly asking me. We also utilize the expense module, which has been beneficial in reducing paperwork and saving time for supervisors.
Cons
It would be beneficial to have the ability to adjust expenses on the admin side after they have been submitted. Currently, if a change needs to be made to an expense project or job, the admin cannot make adjustments directly. Instead, we have to reject it and have to ask the employee to make the changes and then resubmit it. Additionally, while most reports meet my needs, I have been working with support to create a report that includes an employee's expense sheet followed by the relevant receipts. It would be fantastic if we could select the expense sheet status or date range for such a report. However, I was informed that this type of report would incur an extra cost as it would be customized. It seems like a natural report to have in an expense module. Currently, I have to pull all expense sheets and receipts separately and piece them together. Furthermore, when I added the expense module, I was told it integrated with Quickbooks, but it turned out to only integrate with the Desktop version, not the Online version.

Pros
We have been using ClickTime for several years, and their customer service team is excellent! They are knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly friendly. I especially appreciate the fact that we have had the same customer service personnel since we started using ClickTime. That speaks volumes about the company.
Cons
It would be great if we could enter our annual hourly rates per client once and have them automatically populate for all selected jobs. Our hourly rates vary based on the position, so it's not a single rate.

Adding job/tasks takes only about a minute, which is fantastic when you need to create a new time sheet code quickly. There is a variety of reports available to help manage your workforce, and populating time is a breeze and doesn't require much time.
Cons
Sometimes, if you're not paying attention, it's easy to mistakenly populate time for the wrong week.

Cons
It would be really helpful if the mobile app and website had some sort of geolocating sign-in feature. This would allow us to ensure that people are signing in when they are actually at the designated work site.

“Easy for Employees, Not Great at Reporting”
Pros
Staff find it easy to use when entering their time and expenses.
Cons
This software still lacks complete functionality for companies that bill clients based on hours. Why can't we print monthly reports showing the amount billed to each project? Why is it not possible to generate a report that provides the monthly charges for a specific project during a given time period? Why can't administrative tasks be performed within the app?
