Having all the tools I need to build out a task plan already in one place has been a huge plus. Being able to communicate with others without needing to make a phone call is a big stress reliever too. I can lay out exactly what needs to be done, assign each task to the right person and just like that, the problem is handled.

Cons

I haven't run into any issues though I'm still fairly new to using it.

Getting started with this software is very simple and it doesn't take long to learn how everything works. The technical support is excellent as well.

It has a clean, simple interface and the collapsible sections make it simple to scan high-level projects or drill down quickly into specific tasks.

Up to this point, nothing in ClickUp has been frustrating or difficult to understand. If anything, it has highlighted just how much other online project management tools are missing.

Coming from using monday at work, I needed a tool for my own personal use and it has been awesome. I can pretty much always find exactly what I need. There are so many features in it that it's honestly hard to believe they managed to build all of that while still keeping the quality so high.

Cons

nothing comes to mind. It works really well, never feels annoying and just feels right overall.

Pros

Right away, it felt very user-friendly. I can quickly see my individual tasks and all the project details without digging around. It also does a really good job of helping me manage projects and assign work to both my team and myself.

The only downside for me is that I still haven't been able to figure out how to create and use templates within my ClickUp cards and that would be really helpful for my team.

Getting started with this app is very simple and it comes with plenty of features that make project tracking much more manageable. It works well for anyone who wants to stay on top of their tasks and keep following up on them. Another useful part is the notification system which sends alerts to your phone so you don't miss important emails, messages or newly assigned tasks.

Cons

At the moment, the interface isn't my favorite and finding the admin settings can be frustrating. Once you have thousands of tasks being created and completed, everything can start to feel cluttered and a bit disorganized.

It's a pretty quiet all-in-one app that I rely on for project management, docs, team communication and goal tracking.

The setup can get tricky at times and I ran into that especially with the CRM and lead management configuration.

Works really well with the project management tools I already use. It automatically keeps tasks, deadlines, progress and communication in sync across everything so I don't have to enter the same information more than once.

The dashboard customization feels pretty limited and there isn't much flexibility when it comes to tailoring it the way I'd like.

It felt incredibly flexible and let us set things up in a way that matches how our team prefers to work. It offers a huge amount of functionality and a lot of it can be used effectively without needing users to be experts in the product. For such a new platform, it's honestly pretty impressive.

we'd still want a bit more control over the template we use when starting user stories. The acceptance criteria setup also isn't exactly aligned with what we'd prefer. That said, we've upgraded our tier so it's possible the improved functionality we want is available now.

I like how many useful features it has especially the option to create subtasks inside a task. That setup helps me stay organized and it also makes it very clear for my team what needs to be done and in what sequence. On top of that, their customer support has been amazing and I really appreciate being able to contact them through either email or chat.

The part I'm not happy with is having to rely on a time tracker outside of this tool. I only do that because, even though it includes time tracking, it doesn't let me track time by specific date. Instead, all the tracked time gets grouped together which makes things confusing when it comes to billing.

The kanban board is really impressive, honestly the best one I've used so far.

email notifications are annoying since even the smallest edit ends up triggering an update email.

Switching to it came down to how user-friendly it is and how many useful features it offers. Working with colleagues and managers has been really simple and sharing files or leaving comments is just as simple. It's been exactly the solution we were hoping to find.

I really appreciated how customizable it was. It felt like the platform could handle far more than I personally needed. I mainly used it for basic workflow and task management and it did a really solid job there. Connecting the calendar with my tasks was also very useful.

At the same time, that level of customization was also a downside for me. I went into it without much knowledge of workflows and back then the available templates were pretty limited. Because of that, I either had to teach myself how to set everything up or pay someone to help. It does seem like they've improved that since then but I've since moved on to something more powerful and more template-driven for my needs.

Setting up a project template in it is incredibly simple so it doesn't take long to jump in and start working. Our team depends on it heavily, both for managing internal operations and for delivering services to clients.

It can feel slow at times. I'd really like to see a lighter, more organized version of the app for Mac and mobile.

It is simple to handle and the integrations with other tools we use like Miro, are especially useful. It has really helped improve communication between staff in the office and teammates working remotely. Managing several projects at the same time also feels much more organized and easier to handle with it.

There's still some room to improve parts of the UI. It also comes with a lot of features and customization options which can feel a bit overwhelming for some users although that will probably be a big advantage for others.

Getting tasks and deadlines set up with the team is simple and the reminders do a good job of keeping everyone on track. It's also really useful that users can comment on just about everything in it which makes collaboration much easier.

Something that sets this apart from most of the apps I use is the cross-compatibility. A lot of tools don't sync well with each other but it works as a one-stop solution for nearly everything I need in a professional setting.

There aren't many downsides but the interface can be a bit glitchy at times and the notification management doesn't feel very well designed or customizable.
