Getting started with it was pretty simple and the platform felt simple to use overall. Assigning tasks to specific people wasn't always completely clear but aside from that, it worked well as a project management tool. I only used it for a short time yet I ended up enjoying every feature I tested.

The design felt quite basic and some parts of the interface were not especially user-friendly.

Working together with other team members is really convenient and the different layout options are a big plus.

It stays open in a tab for me all day because that's where I keep every task I need to get done. One thing I really appreciate is how committed their team is to helping users solve business problems through their tools. It also covers a lot of ground for people juggling multiple tasks and projects while still working collaboratively with others.

The platform is packed with powerful features and can be customized to fit almost any workflow but using it for several days in a row can feel frustrating right now. If it consistently performed at the level of everything it's capable of, it could easily be the best project management tool out there. At the moment, my biggest issue is that it sometimes lags, for example, when you do something quickly in the app, the change doesn't always show up right away.

Being able to set due dates and assign tasks to specific team members is probably my favorite part. When I use it with my team, everyone picks it up quickly and starts using it without much trouble. Since we're all working from different locations, it has really helped keep the quality of our assignments high. It has been especially valuable for a team like ours that works remotely and across multiple time zones.

Right away, it felt simple to work with while still offering everything needed in one place. The admin side is especially impressive because it gives a clear view of all tasks, their deadlines and how far along they are. Tasks can be assigned to specific people and users can also pass tasks along to others when needed. It really feels like a full-featured tool for any company that wants to keep track of employee activity while also making work reporting much simpler for everyone.

An area that could be better is how task duration is handled since it has to be entered manually. It would be more accurate if there were options like a start time and end time or another way to track duration with more precision.

No matter what kind of team you're on, it gives you tons of project templates to work with so it feels very flexible. Whether you're in marketing like I am, in tech or in just about any other department, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Interface text could be better. A lot of it is gray which looks nice because it isn't too distracting but it can also be a bit difficult to read.

Having everything needed for project management in one place is a big plus. It works right in the web browser so there's no need to install any software. I can access it from basically any device I own, as long as it has a browser which makes it really convenient.

It feels a lot like a Swiss Army knife, very powerful if you really know your way around it but not very beginner-friendly. In my situation, I can't share the ClickUp dashboard with clients because the number of features tends to overwhelm them. It's also not practical on smaller monitors since there's always so much displayed on the screen.

One of its biggest advantages over competing tools is that the free version is actually packed with features instead of being limited to the basics. A lot of other productivity platforms hold back most of their useful functions unless you pay but it gives you access to a lot right away. Along with the standard features you'd expect from this type of software, it also comes with a huge range of extras. There are multiple views, dashboards, proofing tools, real-time collaboration, task dependencies, integrations, time tracking, 24/7 support and likely plenty more that I still haven't explored.

It can feel like too much especially at the beginning. The sheer number of features is overwhelming during the initial setup and I can see why some users and teams mention a steep learning curve when trying to understand and use everything. It's not always obvious whether a certain tool is necessary or worth using. The level of customization is another mixed blessing. Being able to tailor everything is one of it's most appealing strengths but having so many options can also become a downside since you need to spend time choosing and adjusting settings to get the platform working at its best. On top of that, the interface could use improvement. Some blank areas and side panels feel confusing and the small text combined with faint colors makes the lack of contrast more noticeable.

Moving everything over to it was a really painless process. The platform fits just about any project setup you can think of, whether it's client work, personal to-dos or larger projects. It also comes with a solid range of tools that help keep track of all the moving parts involved in a project.

The Android app still needs some improvement before it can truly be the best part of the platform.

Having everything in one platform has been a huge plus. There are plenty of tools available and I can handle all my tasks without jumping between different apps. It also lets me automatically import work from other platforms and I can even build custom imports for Excel files or tools that it doesn't natively support. Goal setting, staying on top of progress, carpet installation tasks, reminders and scheduling can all be managed in one place. Another big advantage is how much I can tailor the system to match exactly what I need.

I like how simple it is to assign tasks across the team. It also makes it much clearer to track the current stage of each project and that visibility is especially important to me.
