“Easy to get comfortable with”
Pros
It has been really versatile and quick to get comfortable with. It works for a wide range of use cases and the support team is very helpful whenever you need guidance on rolling out new features or functionality.
Cons
The user experience could be more user-friendly but it's a small issue and doesn't take away from the overall experience.

“Ability to switch views”
Pros
I really enjoy being able to switch views based on the part of the project I'm working on. You can look at everything through boards, calendars, lists or folders and moving between those options is simple. That flexibility makes the software feel very capable and useful for managing projects.
Cons
Sometimes it can be a bit unclear where to add or edit headings especially when working in the list view.

“Made my work manageable”
Pros
It has made my day-to-day work much simpler. We used to juggle several different apps and I've been able to replace all of them with just ClickUp.
Cons
It is a bit complex to use and the platform can feel somewhat bulky.

“Top-tier task management tool”
Pros
Out of all the task management tools I've used, it has become the most compelling one for me. The sheer number of options it gives you can really boost productivity because the ways you can customize your task system feel almost endless. Tasks can be arranged across boards, projects and folders and each one can connect both to a parent task and to other related tasks at the same time. On top of that, every task includes a wide range of fields you can fill in or customize which makes it much easier to track time and resources, optimize your schedule and even understand how your performance changes depending on the kind of task or the time of day you're working on it. Another part I really appreciate is the variety of views available to manage everything, lists, boards, calendar and Gantt. You can switch between them depending on what you want to focus on and get more value from the same information. One of the biggest reasons I'm so drawn to ClickUp is how well it scales from tiny details like a checklist inside a subtask, all the way up to dashboards that show the progress of an entire large project. It also helps that the platform keeps evolving, with regular updates and new features being added over time which makes paying for it feel worthwhile.
Cons
I don't have any real regrets about using it and after two years on the platform, I can say it has kept improving enough that I haven't felt anything important was missing. The only thing worth mentioning is that there is a learning curve and that could discourage some people at the beginning.

“Not overly complicated”
Pros
Switching to this tool was a breath of fresh air. It was quick to get up and running and using it has been very simple. We came from a project management tool that was overly technical and my dev team just never really adopted it. With it, the templates and workflows make setting up sprints and tasks feel much more manageable.
Cons
I do wish there were a way to automatically shift the dates for a whole sprint folder and the dependency setup can take a little time to understand at first.

“Quick to learn”
Pros
This product is very easy to understand. A new hire can usually get comfortable with it in under 10 minutes which says a lot about how simple it is to use. The Docs feature is also really strong and overall it's a very solid tool.
Cons
There really isn't much to complain about here. It just works the way you expect it to.

“Bloated, pricey and impractical”
Pros
Honestly, there's very little here to appreciate. It feels like it's trying to cover every possible use case for every kind of user and it ends up missing the mark badly. Setting it up is frustrating, using it is overly complicated, it's packed with too many unnecessary features and the price is hard to justify for what it actually delivers.
Cons
Pretty much everything was a downside. It's too expensive, difficult to work with and not practical to roll out across teams or with clients.

“recurring task setup falls short”
Pros
We mainly use it because it lets us organize project tasks in a calendar layout and we had a hard time finding other tools that offered that option the way we needed.
Cons
The recurring task setup is where it falls short for us. We've run into problems with it before and we'd prefer recurring tasks to appear automatically on each scheduled date instead of needing the current one to be marked complete first. It would also be much better if we could scroll ahead to future months instead of clicking through one month at a time since that makes rescheduling and dragging tasks into later months more difficult.

“Top-notch goal tracking feature”
Pros
Our team uses the goal tracking feature to manage OKRs and it does that job really well. It clearly offers a lot more functionality, even though we haven't explored much beyond the basics yet. For simple tasks, it feels very simple to use and doesn't take much effort to get started.
Cons
We still haven't fully worked out the reporting side of the platform so that part has been a bit unclear for us. The progress bars can also be somewhat finicky at times.

“Constant bugs and half-baked features”
Pros
It does offer a lot of features when they actually work.
Cons
The menu navigation is poor, the search is weak and many of the features feel half-baked or keep getting changed, added or removed without any notice. On top of that, there are constant and serious performance issues. Old bugs keep coming back and it feels like they do not really care. They fix something and a week later it is broken again or starts failing somewhere else. Tasks, documents and updates sometimes disappear randomly or do not get saved at all. It is also not GDPR-compliant and there is no real way around that since the servers are only located in the US.

“Effective for task assignment”
Pros
Working on website support projects as a web developer, it has made things much more manageable. Our project managers can assign tasks to us more efficiently and on my side it's much simpler to keep track of everything. The interface is especially helpful, with features to update completion percentages, set deadline alerts and flag priorities which honestly saves a lot of time and hassle.
Cons
There are still a few front-end issues tied to screen sizing. I use two monitors, including one in vertical mode for reviewing long blocks of code and I've noticed that text in some tasks doesn't always adapt very well or stay fully responsive.

“Unparalled flexibility”
Pros
It offers a lot of flexibility and customization especially for larger companies with more complex needs.
Cons
In our case, we didn't need that much custom setup which is why we ended up going with a different tool instead.

“Ensures everyone knows their tasks”
Pros
From the way teams can choose their own views to how tasks, notes and alerts are handled, it pretty much covers everything I want in a project tool. Everyone can work the way that suits them best and I really appreciate that tasks can be imported, assigned to specific people and tracked clearly from start to finish. It also has spaces for notes so team members can leave updates and stay connected without losing context. It works well for both small teams and larger groups because it keeps everyone aware of what they need to do, sends alerts when something is assigned and notifies you when work is completed. Being able to see how a project is progressing, who is responsible for what and whether deadlines are being met makes it much easier to keep people accountable. The customization options are extensive and there are so many choices for setting things up the way you need. I also really enjoy the different view options since each person can pick the layout that works best for them. On top of that, it helps keep schedules organized, lets you monitor progress and costs and supports importing and exporting just about anything needed for a project. Overall, it does an amazing job of keeping everything organized making sure each person knows their task and helping work get done on time.
Cons
There is so much available in the platform that it can feel a little overwhelming at first. With so many options and features happening at once, it can take some time to work through everything.

“Collaboration that keeps projects moving”
Pros
Being able to track my projects and work closely with others has been really useful. My favorite part is the collaboration side especially when we can work on the same projects and leave feedback right there.

“Consistent performance”
Pros
I've been using this app for years and it has consistently been excellent. It feels very user-friendly, connects smoothly with the other services I use and the performance has always been reliable. The best part is how simple it is to navigate and use.
Cons
It's a really strong option for anyone trying to keep feedback organized though the design still feels due for a refresh. The interface comes across as a bit complex and outdated especially compared with today's more modern, minimalist tools.

“Supports embedding and media file uploads”
Pros
It has been really useful for organizing work because I can set deadlines, assign tasks and tailor each space to match the way my business operates. It also supports embedding and uploading media files which helps keep everything in one place. The drag-and-drop setup is another big plus since it makes it simple to rearrange tasks or projects and stay organized. I also appreciate being able to customize task statuses within a list and the real-time time tracking gives team members a clear way to log the time spent on each task.
Cons
Moving an attachment from one task to another is more complicated than it should be because right now the file has to be downloaded first and then uploaded again to the new task. Also, every new project or task shows up at the bottom of the list so I have to scroll all the way down to find it and it would be much better to have a simpler sorting option by date or priority. Another limitation is that bugs can't be linked to a specific task so my team ends up using subtasks during quality assurance which works but isn't really the best solution.

“Shows work in different views”
Pros
The setup process was not hard. I organized my Spaces by client, then created Lists for each client's projects or categories like Social Media and added the individual tasks within those Lists. One thing I really appreciate is being able to look at work in different views. I usually stick with the list view, while some of the people I work with prefer the board or calendar layouts. The customizable dashboard is also really useful especially with widgets that give another clear snapshot of project and task progress across everything.
Cons
What gets a little complicated is tracking whether work was actually finished by the due date. For instance, if a written deliverable is completed on time but then moves into client review, it can still show up as overdue for the contractor. The only real workaround is adjusting the due date but that makes the timeline less accurate if you're trying to look back at how the workflow really went. Contingencies can help with this but they take extra setup and I usually don't end up using that feature.
