Computer Software, 51-100 employees

“Feature-packed but a bit sluggish”
Pros
Something that really helped was the freemium plan since it covers most of what I needed. That flexibility made a big difference when I was managing non-profit projects. The paid upgrade is also more affordable than a lot of competing tools. It comes with a wide variety of features which is definitely useful, even if that also creates some downsides mentioned below. I also appreciate how accessible it is across devices. I can check my dashboard on the web, through the desktop app or from the mobile app which makes it much easier to stay on top of projects while I'm out and about. That kind of mobility matters a lot for software like this.
Cons
At the same time, the platform can feel a little janky or sluggish overall. The interface doesn't always seem fully thought through and some features come across like they were added later without being polished enough or implemented especially well. It feels like the company may be putting feature expansion ahead of stability. Even with that, they still deserve credit for providing a lower-cost option that includes the core features people need, plus quite a bit extra.

“Superb Google integration”
Pros
It has been working really well for us and gives us a simple way to manage projects. The Google integration is useful and the reporting it generates is solid.
Cons
Setting up project tasks can be difficult and sometimes the options seem like they're missing. It would help to have more detailed settings available.

“Loaded with features”
Pros
It's not often that a project management tool covers this much but this one really does feel loaded with features. If you can imagine a workflow or task setup, chances are this software can handle it.
Cons
There's definitely a bit of a learning curve in the beginning while you figure out where everything is but once it clicks, moving through projects becomes quick and efficient.

“Visually attractive platform”
Pros
After recently starting with it for a few projects, it has been a really enjoyable tool to work with. The platform is simple to navigate and visually appealing. It has plenty of colorful elements that make it easier to keep up with action items and milestones and sharing projects with other team members is simple.
Cons
My only drawback is the mobile app. It is not as strong as the web version and still lacks a few features.

“Professional project management platform”
Pros
Running projects with it has been a big advantage especially for smaller organizations that don't have the budget to bring in dedicated project management specialists. It gives you a professional project management platform at a low cost, while still allowing the existing team to handle project planning and execution at a very high level. Each team member can set their own priorities, assign deadlines and keep work organized which makes collaboration much stronger across the whole organization. On top of that, the Gantt view lays out all tasks created by the team making it much easier to understand workload, dependencies and timelines so better decisions can be made to boost productivity and finish work on schedule.
Cons
Honestly, there is not much to complain about with it. The platform is user-friendly and it can be accessed from any internet-connected computer as well as from mobile devices which makes it very convenient. Once inside, each user can immediately view the tasks assigned to them along with the due dates and it also supports uploading files and documents related to ongoing activities so they can be shared with the rest of the team.

“Clear task tracking”
Pros
Keeping everything organized is where it really shines. It's a solid project management tool that lets you stay on top of your whole team and see what everyone is working on at any moment. Creating tasks and projects is simple, you can assign them to the right team members and follow progress as work moves forward. I've been using it to manage my entire business and it has done a really good job of keeping all my tasks structured and in order.
Cons
There is a bit of a learning curve at first but it doesn't take long to figure out.

“Outstanding ready-made templates”
Pros
It feels really efficient thanks to the ready-made templates and the fact that they can be expanded is a big plus. It's impressive how quickly you can put a template to use, then adjust it so it matches the way you work. That level of flexibility makes it easy to shape the system around your own needs.
Cons
The Docs area still needs some work. In particular, bidirectional linking is missing and without that it doesn't function as smoothly as it should.

“Diverse integrations”
Pros
Been a really solid choice for our team, even as a smaller business using it every day. The setup was quick and simple and it comes with a wide range of integrations and features, honestly more than we even need. One thing I've really appreciated is how simple it is to get started and how quickly existing tasks can be updated or adjusted whenever needed.
Cons
My biggest issue with the software is the interface. It feels pretty crowded at times and can be distracting when trying to focus. I'd really like to see it move toward a cleaner, less busy display.

“Better visibility and collaboration”
Pros
After moving from Trello to ClickUp because the company wanted more transparency and collaboration, it was clear that everything I had been using in Trello was already available in it. On top of that, it gave everyone the flexibility to choose the view that made the most sense for them when they needed visibility into other people's work.
Cons
I still wish it had an option to automatically set the due date to the next subtask within a card.

“Versatile features I enjoy”
Pros
It offers a wide range of functions and features so you can build things out to be as detailed or as simple as you want based on your needs and creativity. It felt user-friendly from the start and was simple to get familiar with.
Cons
The mobile app was recently redesigned which is a welcome improvement since the older version wasn't very good. I'd still like the option to view my custom views on mobile although I understand screen space makes that harder to implement well.

“Real-time dashboards are amazing”
Pros
One of its biggest strengths is its real-time dashboards which make it much easier to keep track of multiple teams, checkpoints and project tasks all in one place.
Cons
onboarding can be a bit challenging for new users. People who are more tech-savvy usually don't run into any problems.

“Accurate tracking and better teamwork”
Pros
Amazing how accurately it tracks everything that still needs to be done. It has taken away the need to shout across the room just to figure out who is handling what and it helps with timing and organization better than anything else I've used.
Cons
It can sometimes get a little complicated to keep track of everything especially when deadlines start getting mixed up or when other people can gain access too easily. It would be much better if there were a way to make one person the admin of a task so others involved couldn't make changes to it.

“Supports remote work”
Pros
It has been one of the better tools our project management team has used. The part that stood out most was how well it supported working remotely.
Cons
I just wish it were simpler to navigate. Better mobile integration would also help especially when traveling abroad or away from the office.

“strengthens collaboration and engagement”
Pros
ClickUp packs in a lot of useful features and the interface is one of the things I enjoy most. I can quickly see every task assigned to me along with the due dates and it also gives visibility into whether teammates are overloaded and might need support. It's very helpful for sharing work too since everyone on the team can upload, download and store files and attachments without hassle. I also appreciate being able to set up each project's status separately and use different workspaces for different projects. Overall, it really boosts team productivity and improves the chances of getting work finished on time by strengthening collaboration and engagement.
Cons
Honestly, the tools work the way they're supposed to and I haven't run into anything unnecessary or out of place. The app is user-friendly and connects well with many other applications. I also like that the company keeps improving it especially the mobile version. Since I use Android, I've noticed clear progress in the updates, particularly with notifications which now arrive promptly and let me send and receive updates right away.

Pros
After more than a year of using the app, I feel much more confident working in it. One of the best parts is the flexibility it gives us when it comes to organizing projects.
Cons
it comes with a huge number of features so it's pretty easy to feel overwhelmed at first. The learning curve can be steep but once you understand how it works, it's really impressive.

Getting it in place for our desk hoteling setup was simple and it's convenient enough that everyone can use it without much trouble.
