Versatile views worked across devices

Pros

Working across desktop, mobile and tablet is not a hassle. It's also handy being able to assign tasks to different people and switch between views for field staff, invoicing and more. Each view only shows the most relevant details which helps avoid information overload.

Cons

One downside is that some of the AI features aren't included as standard. I especially liked the automatic note taker that could record meetings and provide a summary even when I wasn't actively participating. It could basically attend on my behalf.

packed with amazing features

Pros

Having everything in one place for project management and team collaboration has been a huge advantage. The flexibility is outstanding especially with customizable dashboards, different task views like lists and calendars and custom automations that fit my workflow. It has completely changed how I organize and monitor my work and considering how many features are included, it delivers excellent value for the price.

Cons

Learning curve is pretty steep. The interface can feel cluttered and overwhelming during the initial setup and with so many tools available, it took quite a while to figure out the best workflow without getting lost in all the options. I have also noticed occasional minor lag from time to time.

Covered everything needed

Pros

I like having everything in one place as it is a huge plus. The customizable views, detailed task workflows and real time team collaboration make staying organized much more manageable. I also value how flexible the platform is as I can begin with the basics and add more advanced features as my projects expand.

Cons

At the beginning the platform felt a little overwhelming. With so many features and settings, the learning curve was steeper than I expected and it sometimes took extra time to figure out where things were or how to configure them properly. Once I got comfortable with it, things were fine but the initial setup and onboarding could definitely be more user friendly.

Affordable workspace

Pros

Opening this every day actually feels enjoyable. It's a truly all in one tool that cuts down on context switching and the price is more than reasonable. ClickUp's customer support is also responsive and helpful and even though the platform is built with teams in mind, they were very intentional about supporting me as a solo business owner.

Cons

One issue I did run into was some lag while creating tasks. If I was adding tasks, subtasks, notes and other details quickly, there was usually a short delay before everything loaded.

tools helped our team work

Pros

ClickUp gives us a lot to work with in one place, from taking notes to building polls and questionnaires to managing employees. That range of features is something I really appreciate.

Cons

The part that can be frustrating is that when you change something, it can end up affecting other areas too and the impact of those changes is not always very easy.

provide strong visibility

Pros

Across projects, support and operations, ClickUp adapts really well to different team workflows. Collaboration is one of its biggest strengths too, with comments, @mentions, docs and shared views making it much easier to keep everyone aligned. Having multiple ways to look at work like List, Board, Calendar, Gantt and Timeline gives excellent visibility depending on what the team needs. Automations help cut down on repetitive admin work and keep processes more consistent. The dashboards and custom fields also make reporting much more useful and overall it does a good job of bringing work into one place instead of spreading it across several tools.

Cons

Because the platform includes so many features, it can take a while for new users to get comfortable with it. It also needs clear governance around things like statuses, custom fields and naming conventions, otherwise the workspace can start to feel messy. Some setup decisions especially around permissions, automations and views, can be a bit complicated. Performance may vary depending on the size of the workspace and how heavily it has been customized and notifications can get overwhelming until they are properly adjusted.

AI support handled tasks powerfully

Pros

The AI-powered chatbot helps summarize tasks, keeps me updated on project progress and even points out duplicate or stuck tasks which saves a lot of time.

Cons

At the same time the platform has so many features, menus and buttons that it can feel overwhelming at first and sometimes takes a while to learn and set up properly.

Customizable fit for our specific team

Pros

Using the free version has worked out really well for our small management group of 12 directors. We appreciate how customizable it is and how well it can be adapted to the way our team works.

Cons

A few team members needed a couple of weeks to fully understand the best way they wanted to use it.

Pros

I love how customizable it is which makes it simple to adapt to all kinds of workflows and team structures.

Cons

The interface can still feel pretty overwhelming and it tends to lag a bit at times which I assume may be caused by a few unresolved bugs.

a complete tool

Pros

Having campaign management, team collaboration, calendar due dates and process automation all in one place got rid of the coordination overhead that had been quietly eating into our actual creative work week after week.

Cons

At the beginning the sheer number of features felt like a lot to take in. Getting the entire marketing team aligned on how to use it ended up being more structured and time-consuming than I originally expected.

Kanban board kept everything advancing

Pros

Keeping tasks organized is easy with the Kanban board. It's very user friendly for tracking progress and I can add plenty of detail to each task while assigning the right people to it.

Cons

It definitely performs better on a computer than on an iPad because the screen spacing isn't as practical there. Scrolling down on a touch screen can also be a bit frustrating at times.

Deadlines centralized in one location

Pros

Having my calendar, billing deadlines and team assignments all in one place means I am no longer losing track of things halfway through the month or chasing people down just to figure out the current status.

Cons

There are a lot of features packed into it so it felt pretty overwhelming at the beginning. To be honest, getting our finance team comfortable with it took longer than the actual setup.

clean tracking with useful AI

Pros

The simple layout and clear project separation made it comfortable to work in. The filtering options help keep track of any project efficiently and connecting it with other software tools is easy to follow. Ask AI is especially useful for editing and narrating content, while bug reporting and tracking feel simple thanks to the clean, user friendly design. The alert system paired with calendar settings works well and Ask AI adds good value for the cost while making team collaboration easier.

Cons

Even with all its strengths, the large number of features can be a little confusing at the beginning especially for new users. The interface also feels crowded at times because there are so many options on screen. It may slow down when handling bigger projects or lots of tasks at once and some features and integrations require extra time to fully understand and use properly.

Flexible workflows

Pros

It is very user friendly and flexible enough to fit a wide range of needs. We have several distinct departments, each with its own processes and priorities so being able to tailor almost everything such as custom fields, statuses and even the overall structure and hierarchy has been a huge advantage. That level of customization also makes collaboration across projects much easier. With the addition of AI and automations, it looks like our project management has moved up another level.

Cons

One frustration is that certain features and requested updates can take months before the development team rolls them out and in some cases even highly upvoted requests never seem to get addressed.

business organizer covered everything

Pros

Running my business feels much more organized with this. It helps me keep track of everything in one place, from clients and content to projects, collaborations and even meal planning.

Cons

My only issue has been using it on an iPad. At times it wouldn't save what I entered in a task description.

free version is top tier

Pros

Getting started with it was pretty quick and the fact that it's free makes it even better. The learning curve is short and it gives you a lot in one place, like multiple projects in a single view, along with lists, tasks and more.

Cons

One confusing part is how the app uses AI behind the scenes in different ways that aren't very clear. Then it pushes you toward paying once those AI-related tasks go past the free limit.

Cons

Pros

There are lots of tools and options to organize projects, to do lists, appointments and just about any kind of workflow. It's very comprehensive while still feeling easy to use. The constant updates keep making it better over time and there are plenty of features available to manage every project down to the smallest detail.

Cons

At the beginning it can feel a bit complicated and hard to use because there are so many options but once you get used to it, it becomes something you really cannot do without.

comprehensive product

Pros

Having tasks, docs, chat and project tracking all in one platform is a big reason people enjoy using it since there's less need to juggle multiple tools. It's highly flexible so teams can adjust workflows to match the way they work and the collaboration features help keep everyone aligned. The reporting is another strong point because it gives a clear view of progress and how work is moving along. Compared with similar tools, it offers strong value for the price and helps teams keep everything organized in one central place.

Cons

One common complaint is that it can feel complicated and overwhelming because there are so many features and customization options. There's definitely a learning curve especially for new users who are looking for something more simple. Some users also mention performance issues, such as larger projects taking too long to load. At times customer support can fall short and more advanced features like automation and initial setup can be difficult to understand.

Remote teamwork became better

Pros

After using it with my team for a few years it has become a really valuable part of how we work. It gives us a simple way to assign tasks and keep track of progress which is especially helpful since everyone works remotely. The notifications are useful and the layout seems user friendly and easy to navigate.

Cons

Every now and then a few things do not load properly although overall the platform is still good to use. There is also an update pop-up that appears sometimes and it does not always function the way it should.
