ClickUp is great for tech savy folks

Pros

ClickUp's flexibility initially attracted me, allowing the creation of custom systems tailored to our business needs instead of rigid, pre-structured setups.

Cons

The initial setup was challenging. This system isn't for those seeking simplicity in setup.

Not the best tool for ADHD

Pros

The clean user interface and wide range of collaboration options make it stand out.

Cons

Getting accustomed to the product was difficult. I wish there were more resources available to make setting up workflows and projects easier. The ease of use isn't quite there for me.

Easy, intuitive and visual with plenty of scope for customisation.

Pros

ClickUp's simplicity makes learning swift and efficient, while its versatility handles complex projects adeptly, offering multiple data analysis options.

Cons

The user interface can sometimes be a bit clunky for more complex tasks, lacking the desired level of intuitiveness. Nonetheless, I was able to find what I needed overall.

ClickUp keeps us going!

Pros

For my virtual team, ClickUp's email, scheduling, and status update features are indispensable for streamlined communication and task tracking, eliminating tedious processes.

Cons

The recent update has made the screen harder to see on the calendar version. Since we primarily use the calendar, it's frustrating not being able to see the whole month.

Happy to use Clickup

Pros

A standout feature is the functionality within the description and comment boxes, especially the list feature post '/'. It's user-friendly not only for work but also personal tasks. Although limited in free accounts, the ability to create numerous workspaces with five spaces each is advantageous.

Cons

There's nothing about ClickUp that I dislike.

The project management tool to end all other project management tools

Pros

ClickUp caters to tasks of all sizes and project complexities, offering customizable tools for organization, prioritization, and progress tracking. It enhances team productivity and adaptability, whether on desktop or mobile platforms.

Cons

While the mobile app includes all the features, it feels somewhat awkward compared to the desktop version having to navigate between different areas. It took some getting used to, but it's not inherently poor.

Minimalist dashboard keeps everything very visible

Pros

To me a big highlight is the dashboard. It has a minimalist, well organized layout where I can see all my project management boards, tasks and team members in one place. It's really useful for keeping track of everything and making sure I don't lose sight of any of my active projects.

Cons

The only downside I see with this tool is that it isn't available in Spanish. Other than that, I really don't see any flaws.

A powerful hub for team collaboration

Pros

A lot of value comes from ClickUp's flexible task management, customization options and collaboration tools. It gives teams an efficient place to work together and keep projects organized in one platform.

Cons

Getting started can feel challenging because the onboarding process takes some effort and adjusting to the wide range of features isn't immediate. It's worth setting aside time to learn the platform so you can really make the most of everything it offers.

Decent tool. Works for my multidisciplinary team.

Pros

ClickUp has been instrumental in our work management and planning processes offering several benefits. Firstly it helps us manage our workload effectively and set realistic expectations. By providing insights into our project pace and identifying any blockers we can understand the time it takes to address them. Moreover ClickUp allows us to visualize dependencies ensuring that no task or team member hinders the progress of others. This optimization of sprints enhances our overall productivity. Lastly during sprint check-ins we rely on ClickUp's burn-down charts to track our progress and identify areas where assistance may be needed. Thanks to ClickUp we have improved our work planning forecasting and collaboration resulting in enhanced productivity.

Cons

The syncing process in ClickUp can be time-consuming. For example when we plan our month and enter all the information it sometimes happens that multiple people make changes simultaneously. We have to refresh the view and wait for the changes to appear which can be a bit frustrating. Occasionally certain views such as the Workload view may not load properly causing the users' workload for the week to disappear. Although refreshing the view helps it can still be annoying. We haven't found a way to track time for personal projects without including them in the reporting which is a limitation. It would be beneficial to have separate time tracking for personal and work-related tasks. Furthermore it would be more convenient for us if the weekly view could start on the first day of our sprint instead of Monday.
