Its annual pricing was really appealing especially when committing to a set number of seats. It was also very helpful that we could import data from our other tools and export it back out without much trouble.

Pages and features can take a while to load and the keyboard shortcuts still don't feel as comprehensive as what Confluence offers.

“Document collaboration truly stands out here”

Pros

Working on documents and notes in ClickUp has been really helpful especially when collaborating with others. Everything is laid out in a way that makes reviewing and sharing feedback simple and convenient.

Cons

The only downside I noticed was that the mobile version had some performance issues at times which made it less reliable when using it on the go.

“Controls leads and projects all together”

Pros

Being able to manage my internal projects while also capturing leads from social media during sales campaigns has been really valuable. Having each lead's information organized in one place makes it much easier to follow up later with the people who decide to book. On top of that the workflow covers not just the project itself but also the journey of potential buyers so I can keep everything together on a single platform.

Cons

The initial setup and getting used to the tool does take some time but I see that as pretty normal at the beginning because later it becomes much more manageable. It also offers different views and list formats to organize information, such as my leads and that's something many other programs don't allow.

It is a fantastic platform for team communication, organizing our workflows and task tracking.

The layout doesn't appeal to me greatly, but it meets my team's current needs adequately, so it's not a significant issue. It's more of a matter of personal taste.

Having project management, task tracking, document sharing and team collaboration all in one place is a big advantage. It cuts down on switching between different tools and helps keep everything related to work organized in a single platform.

Well the mobile app is less refined and not quite as user friendly as the desktop experience.

Pros

One thing that makes it stand out is how many useful cloud-based tools it offers for improving productivity. After spending a few months using its spreadsheet app, my overall impression has been positive. As it's fairly simple to work with, very budget friendly and it supports real time collaboration so several people can edit and see updates at the same time. It also includes a good range of standard formulas and functions, plus chart and graph options for visualizing data. On top of that it allows importing and exporting data from outside sources and spreadsheets in formats like CSV, keeps a reliable version history, works on mobile and offers plenty of customization.

Cons

That said I did run into a few downsides with the editable spreadsheet template. Its spreadsheet capabilities are somewhat limited especially when it comes to advanced features and more complex formulas. It also relies heavily on the ClickUp platform itself to function. Another issue is file compatibility since complicated formatting, formulas and macros from external spreadsheets do not always carry over properly which can lead to data loss. It also struggles with large datasets and more demanding calculations.

“Packed with excellent project management tools”

Pros

It is fairly easy to use even though the platform looks a little complex at the start. Once you spend some time with it, everything starts to click and it becomes much easier to use. It includes just about everything needed in a project management tool.

Cons

At first glance the interface can seem complicated. It took a bit of time to understand how everything works and find my way around it.

Even though it's not the most popular feature, I really like the goal-setting tool. It helps me keep my daily tasks aligned with my bigger goals.

Cons

I really like how easy it is to link tasks to goals right from the goal page. However it would be even better if I could open a goal and instantly see which tasks are tied to it for the day.

“Works well, but customer service disappoints”

Pros

This tool significantly boosts productivity and helps us in scheduling tasks within our team, surpassing other collaboration tools in usefulness.

Cons

Setting up this tool is pretty complicated, and the learning curve feels steeper than other platforms. Maybe it's because they are trying to do too much at once. Also the constant upselling can get annoying, and their customer service isn't the best. I got a quick response after filling out the contact form, but when I raised concerns about the upselling, it took days to get a proper reply.

“A versatile win for tracking projects”

I use it in two different ways such as for managing team schedules around tasks that need to be handled or assigned and for running digital projects like a CRM rollout. It performs really well in both cases. It's also one of the simplest tools in this category to get started with.

Cons

Some competing tools automatically track the time spent on a task. Here, that still has to be started manually when the task begins and stopped again when it ends.

Well it has so many features that at times I feel a bit overwhelming.

Pros

ClickUp does a nice job of combining flexibility with a user friendly design. It works well as a project management platform and includes a wide set of features without feeling overly complicated. I also appreciate how teams can tailor their workflow using customizable workspaces and different views which makes it adapt well to different ways of working.

Cons

There is still a bit of a learning curve especially for teams moving over from simpler tools. Because the platform offers so many features, it can take a while before users are able to take full advantage of everything available. Setting up integrations can also be more involved than expected and some users would probably prefer a more smooth configuration process.

I really like its clean design, and the availability of wide range of features makes it very easy to use.

The support they offer is not the best, but honestly, the app is simple enough that I don't really need much help.

One thing I really liked was getting notifications as the deadlines for scheduled tasks were coming up. The collaborative side of the software is also a big plus and makes working with others much better.

The part that could be improved is the mobile experience. It does display on a phone but some features are a bit hidden and not very convenient to access.
