ClickUp is an efficient tool for monitoring tasks and tracking time. It has been incredibly helpful in documenting and tracking time spent on each task while keeping the data securely logged for easy access.

Cons

It would be wonderful if recurring tasks were less prone to bugs. Additionally having automation software that utilizes existing applications and a reliable reminder system outside of the platform would be beneficial.

Pros

ClickUp provides us with flexibility in customization allowing us to tailor it to our team's specific needs instead of following a rigid approach. The platform also offers built-in automation features that facilitate seamless task flow across departments and among team members. We switched to ClickUp because of its 'Everything' view feature which our previous project app lacked.

Cons

Sometimes the challenge arises from over-customizing the platform requiring the removal of redundant templates or rules. Another aspect I am not fond of is the inability to include table calculations within task cells necessitating manual calculations or the use of a separate Google Sheet.

I love that ClickUp allows the attachment of multiple tags to a task making organization even better.

The abundance of colors on the to-do page can be overwhelming for me.

Navigating and customizing the platform may take some time to learn which can be challenging especially for beginners. Additionally the absence of a mobile application is less than ideal for users who primarily rely on their phones. However with practice and familiarity you can master ClickUp's navigation customization and find the workflow that works best for you. Don't worry investing time into learning the platform will help you become a pro at managing your to-do list effectively.

It's a fantastic system that automates all aspects of work from planning and organization to collaboration. It's user-friendly and particularly beneficial for generating and tracking reports. It suits various institutions regardless of size.

There are occasional errors in email functionality and a guide or video tutorial would be helpful for new users to understand the application. Ticket management requires further development.

When I enter the homepage it is often empty due to my task management role. I would prefer the option to switch it with a custom dashboard of my choice.

Moving from Asana, I didn’t have high hopes for a relative newcomer like ClickUp, but I ended up staying with them for a number of benefits I didn’t have before. Such as daily, weekly, or monthly repetitive tasks for a client can now be easily managed with excellent tasks management. That is complemented with one of the best automation “methods” on the market. Dare I say, not even Asana had this level of automation. It basically takes care of my work without me having to go to each and every tool to perform trivial tasks. It also allows for managing multiple teams and projects at the same time. Best of all, most of the software features are absolutely free!

Cons

It would feel like I am nitpicking here but I really want ClickUp to be 100% automated. I think more improvement will make ClickUp more reliable and eliminate the suffering I endured while performing some tasks due to their complexity. Secondly, it would be better if they include export alternatives other than Excel and unify the dashboard to make it easier to import and combine data from several sources.
