“Confluence as an organization's knowledge base”
Pros
Confluence is fantastic software! I always found it very hard to manage and look for knowledge and documents in bigger organizations and Confluence solved all of the problems. Its full text search capabilities are great and it is superb easy to share the knowledge.
Cons
I have yet to encounter any issues with Confluence.

“Make onboarding easier!”
Pros
Confluence is as essential as any other software for your companys (and teams) success. Makes the onboarding of your new teammates an ease. Having a place where you can learn anything and everything about the documentation (or knowledge) of your company will help your team to succeed and passively teach them self-learning. Forget the questions on how to do this or that, or having to repeat the same thing a hundred times. Send a link to the topic they need info on and done!
Cons
My experiences with Confluence and Atlassian have been entirely positive.

“Great if you want everything in one place.”
Pros
If you're working in a team it's a great source to use as you can direct a person straight to the link and they basically have everything they need. It's good to build documentation especially for newcomers too.
Cons
I haven't noticed any significant issues with it, although my usage has been limited.

“Best software for managing knowledge base for your teams”
Pros
I like how easy it is to use, collaborate, and manage a team workspace. It acts as a single source of truth for my entire team where we can store documentation for all processes, and products. The collaboration is easy because of its features like leaving personal comments, tagging users, and multiple users editing the same document, and real-time updates.
Cons
A feature allowing users to create personalized alerts and receive notifications for updating outdated documents would be useful.
