We had a very frustrating experience with Dotloop. The services and capabilities presented during the sales process did not match what was actually delivered. The approach felt very sales-driven—big promises upfront, but far less follow-through once we were in. That disconnect made the entire experience difficult to navigate. Transparency matters in business, and unfortunately, that was lacking here. Proceed with caution and make sure everything is clearly documented before committing.

Pros

Dotloop is easy for me to use, and I appreciate being able to see my history, it is so user-friendly.

Cons

Sometimes, it decides to boot me at random times, making me go through the hassle of retrieving a code to log back in. It's quite inconvenient.

it makes transactions flow smoothly and simply. Neither buyers nor sellers have any issues with it, and even staff from various departments find it easy to use.

I find dotloop to have a learning curve. Depending on my needs, this curve can be either gentle or steep. While I'm adept at using software and hardware, I can almost fully utilize dotloop.

Sometimes signees struggle to sign past the part they need to sign. Usually, it is due to user input error or clicking the tab incorrectly. I believe it's more of a human error than a fault of dotloop.

While working on documents, it sometimes jumps back to the first page for no reason after clicking on a text box or signature. I also occasionally face trouble sharing multiple documents because some are shared with a limited group. However, I do not think this should hinder my ability to share a selected group of documents at once.

Not sure yet... I guess it would be beneficial to integrate with the brokerage's CRM so data is automatically transferred from the CRM into Dotloop when a loop is created.
